Abstract:
Gravitational models are currently a commonly used methodology to analyze the behavior of countries' trade flows. These studies typically seek to measure the impact of distance and the size of economies as factors that increase or decrease the propensity to trade between countries. Instead of using the traditional model, this paper introduces two distance variables which are built as modernity factors of culture and productive and institutional apparatus that give some evidence the importance of the economic and institutional stability of the countries to favor trade flows. The new model is tested using historical data of Colombia foreign trade between 1995 and 2015 (which is the most updated year publicly available).

Abstract:
In the world, the video game industry has really exploded until about 2000, and since then has achieved great strides, becoming one of the leading forms of the entertainment industry, at least in terms of revenue. The main purpose of this paper is to examine the consumer behavior in the case of video games with three objectives: identify the factors affecting customer satisfaction for video games; analyze these factors to understand how they affect consumer behavior and propose some recommendations to improve the customer satisfaction for video games. Data was collected from 205 Vietnamese gamers addressing the variables of individual, psychological, cultural, and social factors. Regression analysis found that all four factors positively affect consumer behavior, in terms of customer satisfaction, especially cultural factors. The findings of this research analyzed the theoretical foundations of the theory of behavior, based on which investigated the study of consumer behavior of video game services of players in Vietnam by market research, analyze data, thereby helping businesses understand the psychological response, consumer behavior of customers, and can devise appropriate strategies.

Abstract:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a motivation for full usage of autonomous driving. Many have predicted that autonomous technology would significantly disrupt the transportation industry. This research examines how autonomous driving might impact and disrupt the ridesharing industry and their drivers. The hypothesis is that autonomous vehicles (AV) will negatively impact the ridesharing industry. To examine the full effects of this disruption, we researched current literature on driverless technology cars and the ridesharing industry. Factors examined include: current economics of drivers and vehicles, public perception and acceptance, technological readiness, collaborations, regulations, and liability. Key findings from a host of resources were tabulated to build a case for the proposed hypothesis. The results provide a more comprehensive timeline estimate, predicted $0.75 cost estimate per mile by 2040, and documented the collaboration figure among the players that shows the significant investments across different industries. This research shows that the ridesharing industry’s current business model is due for a significant disruption by autonomous driving capabilities. Drivers in the ridesharing industry might likely suffer the most, however not for at least another decade or so. There are many independent factors, which must be further scrutinized to develop a more comprehensive understanding as to the velocity of this disruption. Findings from this study would be applicable while evaluating the future of autonomous vehicles.

Talent management and Employee Engagement have been studied extensively in management literature in the last ten years, both concepts have become a field of interest. Therefore, this study explores the impact of employee engagement as a mediator on the relationship between talent management and organizational performance. The reason for doing this research is that most of the studies have studied the relationship between talent management directly on organizational performance and have not included employee engagement as a mediator. Midwives were selected as samples since their talents can further enhance the professional ability of midwives in carrying out their duties: to save mothers and children during childbirth.

Abstract:
Open innovation has been identified as two dimensions, the flow of knowledge obtained from outside and processed within the organization and has a role as a key business responsiveness to prevent any risks that will be faced. From this knowledge flow is a successful approach to new product development featuring outbound and inbound knowledge that is managed with the aim of getting out of the bounds of risk. Therefore, this study investigates and explains the clausal relationship between the variables used, such as inbound and outbound open innovation, product innovation, marketing innovation, firm performance, and environmental turbulence as moderating variables. This study uses a quantitative approach and designs a questionnaire that has been distributed to 115 SMEs owner / managers as a sample. In the process of formal data collection, a random sample was used in this study which was distributed to the owner / manager of SMEs. While the processing, analysis, and hypothesis testing process of this study uses PLS-SEM which is a statistical tool for applying all data scales, does not require many assumptions, and confirms relationships. The findings in this study indicate that what has a positive and significant effect is the relationship of inbound open innovation to product innovation, product innovation to marketing innovation, marketing innovation to firm performance. In addition, the moderating effect of environmental turbulence in a positive way is only product innovation on firm performance. Further explanation of the implications of the findings has been discussed and confirmed.

Abstract:
The study aimed to identify the impact of the application of institutional governance principles in the accounting disclosure of service companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE). The study collected the financial statements of companies during the period 2014-2019, and the extent of applying the principles of institutional governance was measured through indicators included (board of directors’ size, board of directors’ independence, and concentration of ownership). Accounting disclosure was also measured by return on assets and earnings per share. The study population consisted of service companies listed on the ASE, and the study used the random sample where the number of companies included in the study population (14) companies. The required data was obtained throughout the financial reports of companies published on ASE website as a study sample. The results showed a statistically significant effect on the application of institutional governance principles using their instruments (board of directors’ size, board of directors’ independence, and concentration of ownership) in accounting disclosure (return on assets, earnings per share). In the light of the previous results, the study presented several recommendations, which most importantly: The need to adhere to the principles and rules of institutional governance in a way that assists to protect the rights and interests of shareholders.

Abstract:
This paper identifies the degree of strategic agility and its relationship with the competitive advantage in the private hospitals in Jordan. To achieve this goal, a special questionnaire was developed for a sample of managers in hospitals. The study distributed 208 questionnaires to 27 hospitals, and managed to collect 95% of them, properly. The target group was mainly hospital directors, deputy directors, district directors and department heads. The researcher presented a set of recommendations that could be considered necessary to achieve a level of competitive advantage in all fields of hospital work. In the light of the problem of research and its questions and the review of relevant studies, the current research sought to test the validity of the hypotheses of the study. The results of the statistical analysis revealed that there is a statistically significant relationship between the extent of the Agility exercise and the competitive advantage of private hospitals in Jordan (α=0.05). The results also showed that there was a statistically significant relationship between the strategic sensitivity and competitive advantage of the private hospitals in Jordan (α = 0.05). However, the results of the hypothesis did not differ from the second sub-hypothesis, where there was a statistically significant relationship between the substantial and competitive advantages of private hospitals in Jordan (α = 0.05). Finally, the statistical analysis found that there is a statistically significant relationship between technology and competitive advantage in private hospitals in Jordan (α = 0.05).

Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to look into the work-life interface of professionals in a de-manding and high-risk occupation in an organization in the security sector. Specifically, it focuses on the interaction between supervisor behaviors and culture with turnover intention and work-family conflict. The present study centers on data from a public security organization (3861) in a Latin American country. The validity of the measuring instruments was evaluated through Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was then applied to evaluate the relationship between variables. Results found show a statistically significant negative impact of the supervisor behaviors in organizational (turnover intention) and individual outcomes (work-family conflict). At the same time, organizational culture negatively affects turnover intentions and work-family conflict. While confirming results coming from the private sector in other countries, the importance of supervisor behaviors and culture provides implications for work and family practices in this type of organization.

Abstract:
Internal and external integration in hotel industries is essential to improve Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) to maintain hotel performance and sustainability. This research is to examine the impact of internal and external integration on GSCM and hotel performance. It is quantitative research with judgmental sampling. Questionnaires were distributed to 72 hotel employees from 62 hotels of three-star hotels and above, who understand GSCM and hotel performance in East Java. But 66 questionnaires were returned, and only 62 questionnaires were valid for data analysis. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) is used to analyze with the help of Java Web Start software. The results show that all six hypotheses are supported, internal integration with Use technology to significantly determine plans and coordination capable of external integration and GSCM. External integration with Sharing knowledge with partners and Collaborating in solving problems can improve GSCM significantly. Supply chain integration, which consists of internal integration and external integration, impacts hotel performance by reducing hotel waste and Efficient use of resources. GSCM in implementing Eco green, green procurement and product life cycle have a significant impact on improving hotel performance.

Abstract:
This paper aims to investigate the mediating role of relationship conflict and moderating role of organization citizenship behavior and leader-member-exchange quality on the relationship between team value diversity and team performance. Data was collected from 263 employees of the telecom sector addressing the variables of value diversity, team performance, relationship conflict, OCB and LMX. Regression analysis found that team value diversity negatively affects team performance, and relationship conflict significantly mediates this relationship. It was also found that OCB and LMX significantly moderate the relationship, such that in the presence of these two, value diversity doesn’t affect team performance rather team performance is positive when these two are present. The findings of this research confirm that for effective management of team diversity in organizations, team leaders must also wisely manage relationship conflict.
