Abstract:
Saudi Ports, is one of the busiest seaports in the world and the biggest ports in the Middle East, which is facing challenges from different ports such as Salalah and Dubai ports especially in the cargo section, which can release their cargoes and goods in a short time without any congestion of stock. The current challenges of Saudi Ports Authority are the overstock of cargo which is the result of low performance of workers at cargo field. This paper investigated the root of this problem based on the role of the human resource practices such as training and development, reward, job analysis, social support, recruitment and selection, employee relationship and empowerment, employee satisfaction into employee performance. In other words, the current study explored to know whether HRM practices offer direct impact on the employee performance or through employees’ job satisfaction on employee performance to solve the said problem. The study analysed the 367 Saudi port authority employees’ data and found a positive significant relationship between HRM practices and employee performance. Furthermore, the current study revealed a positive relationship between employee job satisfaction and employee performance. Moreover, the present study found the insignificant relationship between HRM practices and employee job satisfaction but reported no significant mediating role of employee job satisfaction between HRM practices and employee performance.

Abstract:
Culture is a powerful tool to communicate values and promote objectives of public interest that are broader than wealth creation. The economy of culture entails both cultural and creative sectors. The contribution of the culture to the economy has gradually been acknowledged, with the development of the cultural industries. Using the input output table methods, this research presents one way of measuring the economy of culture focusing on the impact of final consumptions of culture industry’s output on the growth of value added (GDP). Also, this study employs forward and backward linkage indicators of cultural industry that reveals the relationship between the cultural industry and other sectors in the economy. With the data from 2007, 2012 and 2016 input – output tables, the results show that although the contribution of cultural product consumption to the GDP is less than other sectors, the contribution of the cultural consumption to economic growth is quite high. The power of dispersion index of cultural industry in both 2012 and 2016 is quite high and nearly equal to 1, meaning that a unit of cultural industry change will lead to one unit of change in other industries, thus in turn leads to double the number of changes in value added of the whole economy.

Abstract:
Consumer online engagement has seen a sight of emerging attention by marketing literature, but how consumer involvement, with its dimensions (importance, pleasure, sign, risk consequence, and risk probability), is linked with consumer online engagement still requires additional empirical analysis especially in the context of airline and hospitality services. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between consumer involvement and its dimensions and consumer online en-gagement. The data are collected from the social media website and analyzed by using structural equation modelling through SPSS and Smart PLS 3.0 software. The findings imply that sign value was the major determinant of consumer online engagement. This indicates that marketers should acknowledge the importance of company’s symbolic value and design a suitable symbolic value to be parallel with the targeted consumers’ social status and personal images to increase consumer online engagement. Through examining the relationship among different variables, marketers could develop effective strategies to gain competitive advantages. The originality of this study lies within the research gap of the past researches on the antecedent of consumer online engagement. The antecedent considered is consumer involvement, suggested by previous researches.

Abstract:
Talented workforce is a main key to survive in challenging surroundings and quickly volatile busi-ness circumstances. This paper examines the fostering effect of talent management on organizational intelligence at food companies in Jordan through a quantitative approach. Both reliability and validity of measurement scale are evaluated. The paper demonstrates that talent management acts as a sig-nificant antecedent to organizational intelligence. Findings confirm the importance of enjoying tal-ented employees and recommend practitioners and executives to develop and retain their talent pool through a strategic human resource management system in order to better capitalize on intellectual capital and drive it towards realizing the organizational missions.

Abstract:
This study aims at improving the understandings of the relationship between transformational lead-ership style and employee job satisfaction, considering the gender as the moderator and perceived organizational politics and perceived organizational commitment as mediators among the banking sector employees in North Cyprus. The data were collected through a self-completed questionnaire which was distributed randomly to bank employees in five districts of North Cyprus in 2018. A total of 400 questionnaires were returned and utilized to conduct regression analysis which suggested a positive relationship between transformational leadership and employee satisfaction. The findings also indicated that the perceived organizational politics and organizational commitment did play a mediating role on the relationship between transformational leadership style and employee satisfaction. Perception of organizational politics and perceived organizational commitment have an impact of the overall employees’ satisfaction. As suggested by our finding, female and male leaders adopt transformational leadership skills in different ways causing various effects on the level of satisfaction of their employees.

Abstract:
The stock exchange in Indonesia acts as a means of financial resources of business and investment for the community. Any investor needs some profit from his/her investment. However, in determining a policy for decision making, many investors do not always think, rationally. Moreover, stock trading in the stock exchange/money market faces with high uncertainty, which may create some ir-rational acts and leads to irrational investment decisions. This study aims to test the biased inves-tor’s behavior, such as overconfidence, disposition effect, and risk tolerance on investor’s trading activities in the Indonesian Stock Exchange. To analyze the qualitative response variable in this re-search, the researchers considered more than two categories. Therefore, the analysis required was Multi-nominal Logistic Regression Model. Meanwhile, some investors appointed to be the subject in this research were the customers of some Securities. The survey distributed 170 questionnaires and collected 141 properly filled ones used in this research. The testing result employing simultaneous multi-nominal logistic regression show that the overall model used was quite significant. The testing conducted partially also shows that only overconfident investors were affected by trading activities. Meanwhile, the opportunity of the overconfident investor to do trading was considered to be moderate as much as 0.177 multiplied from the “infrequent” category.

Abstract:
During the past three years, Malaysian Islamic banking Institutions’ (IBIs) asset has shown an aggressive growth of 13%. Furthermore, Malaysia is currently focusing to become the world hub leader in Islamic banking. Hence, these two factors have increased the competitiveness among IBIs to find qualified talents in various fields to be attracted. Despite abundant new talents in the job market, the IBIs could not attract the qualified or right talent into their institutions. This paper attempts to identify an appropriate EVP for new Malaysian IBIs talents to attract qualified talents. To do so, a study is conducted with a structured interview of the questionnaire. The questionnaires were evaluated by a group of Malaysian graduates on the required EVP for IBIs. The results indicate that basic salary, employee benefit package and flexible working hours play an important role for talent shortage.

Nexus between financial depth and economic growth has been studied for long time and still attracts great attention from policymakers. This research examines the relationship among ASEAN+3 countries from 2000 to 2014 based on Cobb-Douglas theoretical framework. The results show that fi-nancial depths measured by domestic credit to private sector, M3 and stock market capitalisation all have significant effects on economic growth. The paper also gives policy recommendations to promote financial development for purposes of long-term economic growth in ASEAN+3 countries.

Abstract:
In the Malaysian Umrah industry, there are so many new entrants selling and offering similar products and services. As a result, Umrah providers must compete to survive in the Umrah travel industry, as there are currently so many competitors. They need to focus on customers’ special needs and preferences to maintain the long-term relationship. Hence, the purpose of this research is to identify the relationship between service marketing mix and customer’s loyalty towards Umrah travel agents in Malaysia. The customers who performed Umrah more than once were on the focus of this study. The necessary data were collected from 384 respondents through a structured questionnaire using a convenience sampling technique. The results of the research confirm that all “service marketing mix” elements (“price, product, place, promotion, process, people, and physical evidence”) show significant positive effects on customer loyalty. This study will be of interest to the Umrah travel industry in understanding how marketing mix strategies are essential for maintaining a long term relationship with customers.

Abstract:
This study aims at investigating the factors that influence Bank Mandiri employees' turnover intention including work environment, stress, and job satisfaction. This research is expected to be able to find a solution to the problem of increasing turnover intention which could lead to serious problems. The study uses a quantitative method with the Path Analysis model and the resulted model analyzes both direct effect and indirect effects of independent variables on dependent variable. The sample size includes 100 employees of Mandiri Bank who were selected from a population of 430 employees based on purposive random sampling technique. The findings of this research indicate that, work environment had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Second, stress had a neg-ative and significant effect on job satisfaction. Third, work environment had a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Fourth, stress had a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Fifth, job satisfaction had a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Based on these results, work environment, stress, and job satisfaction can be policy tools to reduce turnover intention, which can lead to a decrease in real turnover at Mandiri Bank.
