A healthy and good family condition is often involved with other factors such as work conditions. In this paper, we present an empirical investigation to study the effects of the quality of work life on quality of family life. The study uses a standard questionnaire and distributes it among all 35 full time employees of a prison in province of Semnan, Iran. Cronbach alphas for quality of work life and family life are 0.967 and 0.840, respectively. In our survey, quality of work life consists of eight components including fair and sufficient payment, safe and healthy work conditions, human development capabilities, growth and secure opportunities, social integration, rule of law, general atmosphere of work life and social dependence of work life. The survey has used Pearson correlation ratios as well as stepwise regression analysis and the results have confirmed that having safe and healthy work conditions strongly influences quality of family life.

Researchers and scholars of management and behavioral sciences have tried to determine effective factors, which influence on efficiency and effectiveness in order to increase organization performance and they have tried to identify factors, which create job stress. In this research, we investigate the effect of job stress on job performance through emotional, organizational and moral intelligence. The study is a descriptive-analytic one, which is based on correlation, uses survey method to gather data and they are analyzed using structural equation modeling. The population of this research includes all the personnel of Registry Organization in Arak city. The results suggest that job stress influences on job performance through organizational intelligence and moral intelligence, but job stress does not influence on job performance through emotional intelligence. Regarding research hypotheses, results and findings after analyzing obtained data suggest that job stress influences on emotional, organizational and moral intelligence, but job stress does not influence on job performance. In addition, the results show that organizational and moral intelligence influence on job performance but emotional intelligence does not influence on job performance.

Building a famous brand often makes it possible to have sustainable growth in competitive market. A good brand name plays an important role on increasing word of mouth advertisement, the number of loyal customers and repurchase habits. However, in order to build a good brand, we need to create sustainable brand identification and to do this we need to determine influential factors. This paper presents an empirical investigation to find important factors influencing brand identification. The proposed study designs a questionnaire in Likert scale consists of 23 questions, distributes it among 400 people who purchase regularly from hyperstar and collects 400 filled ones. Cronbach alpha is calculated as 0.735. In addition, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy and Approx. Chi-Square are 0.784 and 2300.022, respectively. Based on the results of our survey, we have derived five factors including sense of brand, brand community, trust to brand, value of brand and personality of brand.

Nowadays, it is widely accepted that knowledge is the primary source of adding more value to organizations and business units. Customer relationship management (CRM), on the other hand is the main bridge for building a connection between management team and users and a good CRM also contributes to firms in terms of customer retention and getting more market share through word of mouth advertisement. In this paper, we present an empirical investigation to find the effect of knowledge on CRM in one of Iranian banks. The proposed study selects a sample of 384 randomly selected people and distributes a questionnaire among them. Cronbach alphas for all components of the survey have been well above 0.70, which validates the overall questionnaire. The results have confirmed that knowledge influences CRM positively in terms of customer satisfaction, customer loyalty and trust.

This paper presents an empirical investigation on measuring the effects of controlling self-talk on women’s life satisfaction. The proposed study selected a sample of 34 women who visited counseling center in city of Najaf Abad, Iran. The study divided them into two groups of experiment and control where the first group were requested into eight counseling sessions of 90 minutes on controlling self-talk for a period of two months. The instrument in this study was Enrich couple satisfaction questionnaire, which measured the couple’s satisfaction in twelve different categories. The data was analyzed using covariance analysis method and the test results indicated that instructing internal self-talking could increase the rate of couple’s satisfaction (p & LT; 0.05).

This article is devoted to the study of strategic issues for modification of the national innovation system of Iran. In recent years, National Innovation System is accepted as a conceptual framework and analytical instrument for countries’ innovation activities by the international organizations such as Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and Euro stat. The main purpose of this study is to find solutions modification of the national system of Iran. The subject of the research is the international experience of development of national innovation systems, peculiarities of innovation systems in countries with developed and emerging markets, as well as systems of support and management of national innovation systems in Iran and abroad. The results of this study may be useful for students, managers in public and private sector, government officials, researchers, economists and all those interested in financial and economic issues.

This paper presents an empirical investigation to find important factors influencing market penetration in truck industry. The proposed study designs a questionnaire in Likert scale consists of 51 questions, distributes it among 300 people who worked for different truck industry related units and collects 262 filled ones. Cronbach alpha is calculated as 0.89. In addition, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy and Approx. Chi-Square are 0.845 and 3067.443, respectively. The study has implemented principal component analysis and the results have indicated that there were eight factors influencing entering truck making industry including adaptation strategies, new ideas, cost competitiveness, product capabilities, market characteristics, competition threats from external market environment and export accelerators.

Investigating the behavior of members of an organization is a basic step in understanding the organization & apos; s culture. In fact, it is always necessary to consider organization culture when a new action is about to happen. In fact, by leveraging culture, it is getting easier to accomplish other tasks within organization. In this paper, we present an empirical investigation to find important factors influencing organizational culture in banking industry. The proposed study uses Denison’s standard questionnaire for diagnosing organizational culture. Cronbach alpha has been calculated as 0.927, which is well about the acceptable limit. The results indicate that dimensions of job involvement (2.961) and organizational mission (2.914) are in better position compared with dimensions of compatibility (2.724) and consistency (2.621). The study proposes a new comprehensive organizational framework, which helps building new strategies.

Return of Investment has always been an interesting area of research among academics as well as investors. Although capital asset pricing model (CAPM) is capable of estimating risk of investment, many people argue that CAPM is not able to predict long-term return, properly. This paper presents an empirical investigation to find the effects of different financial figures including systematic risk (Beta), size of firm, ratio of book value to market share, volume of trade and the ratio of price/earnings (P/E) on return of private banks in Iran. The study gathers the necessary information over the period 2005-2011 from private banks in Iran. The study uses multiple regression technique to find the effects of mentioned variables on return of private banks. The results indicate that there are some meaningful and positive relationship between return of banks and systematic risk (Beta), size, volume of trade and P/E. The study also finds some meaningful and reverse relationship between bank return and book value on market value.

Knowledge management plays an important role in modern management systems since many existing systems move towards learning organizations. Expert systems, on the other hand, are considered as the most popular techniques for adapting recent developments on knowledge management. This paper presents an empirical investigation to find important factors influencing adaptation of expert systems. The proposed study designs a questionnaire in Likert scale consists of 25 questions, distributes it among 258 people who have recently graduated from computer science and they are familiar with implementation of expert systems. Cronbach alpha is calculated as 0.730 and Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin Measure of Sampling Adequacy and Approx. Chi-Square are 0.748 and 1377.397, respectively. The study has implemented principal component analysis and the results have indicated that there were four factors influencing expert systems including systems management, intelligence systems, system analysis and specialized analysis.
