The issue of integrated scheduling and sequencing operation of unloading and loading equipment in container ports has been one of the most important issues concerning time efficiency. In addition, with the emergence of green harbor concepts, the inclusion of criteria for minimizing energy consumption, fuel and emission reduction are among the other issues that have been noticed by planners in the field of energy efficiency. Furthermore, due to the complexity and scope of activities of a container terminal, uncertainty in operational parameters such as transportation time, time of readiness and entry of work into the system and the velocity of the transportation fleet are inevitable in this operational environment. Therefore, this research with the aim of sharing trucks among loading and unloading equipment, proposes a robust multi-objective integer programming model for the synchronized scheduling of truck operations with other handling equipment to decrease the fuel consumption of trucks and the flow time of containers, considering the uncertainty in operational parameters as fuzzy numbers. To find the Pareto solutions for this model, the ε-Constraint technique is employed. Finally, the performance of the model in deterministic and uncertain modes is evaluated, compared and analyzed employing the inputs gathered from Shahid Rajaei port. The findings demonstrate that using this model will result in a substantial decrease in both fuel consumption and flow time of containers in comparison to the current procedure. Additionally, results will demonstrate the extent to which the terminal's fuel and time consumption will increase under conditions of uncertainty in operational parameters when the optimal plans derived from the robust model are implemented.

The expansion of tourism locations that are both creative and of high quality is a significant contributor to the expansion of the economy. The stages of tourism development that are influenced by the progression of information technology are represented by the term "smart tourism" in the context of the ecosystem of smart villages. Integrating micro-enterprises with tourist practices is one of the ways that may be utilised to speed up the development of villages. By implementing the concept of smart tourism, tourism integrated with information and communication technology (ICT) can potentially improve both the economics and the services provided by the tourism industry. This research aims to analyse the clustering of smart tourism potential possibilities within the Kemang sub-district. These areas' clustering depends on some variables, including infrastructure (access for tourists), innovation, technology, local wisdom, distinctiveness, and economic conditions. The Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) clustering approach is utilised. A Geographic Information System (GIS) is utilised to facilitate the process of determining which villages are included in each cluster. This is done to describe potential areas better. The value of the cluster evaluation using the Davies Boulding Index (DBI) obtained is 0.3819, and the number of clusters with the best performance is 3. There is a very potential cluster in Cluster 3, comprising two villages (Kemang and Atangsanjaya). A potential cluster was also detected in Cluster 2, comprising three villages (Tegal, Pondokudik, and Parakanjaya). Furthermore, a fairly potential cluster was detected in Cluster 1, consisting of three villages (Jampang, Pabuaran, and Bojong). Specifically, in the Kemang sub-district, it is anticipated that the findings of this study will provide an overview of possible sites for implementing environmentally conscious tourism.

The study employs the Technology, Organisational, and Environmental (TOE) theory to examine the role of SMEs’ adoption of social media on financial and non-financial marketing performance in Ghana. Data were collected from SMEs in Accra, Ghana. The study tested seven hypotheses and two moderators. A total of 452 usable sample size were analyzed using structural equation modelling (SEM). The outcome reveals a positive and significant relationship between social media adoption and SMEs' financial and non-financial performance in Ghana. Additionally, a direct relationship between the TOE and SMEs’ social media adoption was confirmed. Although the generalizability of this study is limited due to a single country study, it is still relevant in contributing to a better understanding of social media adoption literature among SMEs, especially from a developing country context. This study is part of the few studies that have used the Technology, Organisational, and Environmental theory to understand social media adoption and marketing performance in the context of an emerging country.

The Low-Cost Voice Controlled Wheelchair with Raspberry Pi is an innovative assistive technology designed to improve the mobility and independence of people with disabilities. This research aims to develop a wheelchair system that can be operated using voice commands at an affordable price, making it accessible to a wider range of individuals with limited mobility. The device is built on the Raspberry Pi, a reasonably priced, credit-card-sized computer, and uses an easy-to-use yet efficient voice recognition technique to let users control the wheelchair with their vocal commands. A Raspberry Pi, a microphone, and motor controllers are some of the system's hardware components. The software uses Python programming language and open-source voice recognition technology to recognize voice commands, making it easy for users to navigate their environment independently. The system has been tested on a prototype and has shown promising results in terms of accuracy and reliability. The Low-Cost Voice Controlled Wheelchair with Raspberry Pi can give disabled persons new levels of mobility and independence, enhancing their quality of life and enhancing their capacity to carry out daily tasks.

Overall, this study delivers insightful information about the function of CC in SCM and offers useful suggestions for companies looking to use this technology to enhance their supply chain operations.

The strategic network of any organization plays a significant role in the industry. Therefore, companies must study the factors hindering the construction of this network. Companies need a strategic network of alliances and partnerships to complement each other and constitute a superpower that competitors cannot overcome. This study explores the size of obstacles posed by managerial myopia in weakening the ability of organizations to build their strategic network. Current paper tests the influential relationship between managerial myopia and the ability of organizations to build their strategic network in one of the most important institutions within the oil sector. Results show a negative impact of managerial short-sightedness on an organization's ability to build a successful strategic network that enables it to coexist within an atmosphere of competition. This study recommends that organizations adopt the concept of managerial hyperopia as a valuable tool for organizational success.

This research tends to find out the mediation effect of talent attraction while gaining organizational performance with the help of compensation and work environment factors among pharmaceutical of Karachi Pakistan with the sample of 220 extracted of the HR professionals, survey method with likerd questionnaire approach is used to find the consistency and accuracy of the data related to the respondents with the help of Smart pls and SEM technique relationship among various variables are find out. Although findings reveal that work environment certain factors such supervisor support, work-life balance, the physical working condition shows a positive association with the attraction of the talent and maintain organizational performance similar goes with direct and indirect compensation as they found relatable well secured and comforted environment talent is attracted apart from that they also looked to gain certain skills, development opportunities, and professional growth. This research is limited to the pharmaceutical sector of Karachi Pakistan and the results are also restricted to the boundaries, moreover, generalizability is low as we cannot implement the results overall.

Manufacturers today need to optimize their fabrication runtime decision by meeting short customer order due dates externally and managing the potentially unreliable machines and manufacturing processes internally. Outsourcing and overtime are commonly utilized strategies to expedite fabricating time. Additionally, detailed analyses and necessary actions on inevitable product defects (i.e., removal of scraps) and equipment breakdowns (such as machine repairing) are prerequisites to fabrication runtime planning. Motivated by assisting today’s manufacturers decide the best batch runtime plan under the situations mentioned above, this study applies mathematical modeling to a hybrid fabrication problem that incorporates partial overtime and outsourcing, inevitable product defects, and a Poisson-distributed breakdown. We develop a model to accurately represent the problem’s characteristics. Formulations and detailed model analyses allow us to find the cost function first. Differential equations and algorithms help us confirm the gain function’s convexity and find the best runtime decision. Lastly, we use numerical illustrations to show our study’s applicability by revealing in-depth crucial managerial information of the studied problem.

The growing popularity of aggregation platforms has attracted widespread attention in the ride-hailing market in recent years. In order to obtain additional orders by charging commissions and slotting fees, many ride-hailing platforms choose to bundle with aggregation platforms. Unlike traditional reseller electronic channels, the bundle channels may affect pricing of platforms, service levels of drivers, market demands and they may further impact on profits. These different attitudes raise an interesting and key question about the influence of bundle channels in ride-hailing platforms. In this paper, we propose an analytical framework for pricing strategies of ride-hailing and aggregation platforms under bundle mode and analyze their pricing process from the perspective of Nash and Stackelberg games, where the platforms serve as leaders to determine optimal prices through Nash equilibrium and the drivers serve as followers to provide optimal service levels. Through sensitivity analysis of service levels and costs, we capture the distribution trends of profits between the platforms. Based on some numerical examples and results analysis, some interesting managerial insights on pricing of ride-hailing and aggregation platforms are gained.

Social dilemmas describe conflict situations between immediate self-interest and longer-term collective interests. In these situations, it is better that all players work together to attain a common goal, but individuals may threaten the best payoff of the group by free-riding. Human behavior in a pandemic is one example of a social dilemma but wait-and-see games and relying on herd immunity to get a free ride generates a threat of continuing the pandemic. This study aims to use probabilistic incentives given by a third party as a mechanism to inhibit free-riding behavior by promoting cooperation in the volunteer dilemma game. For more realistic human behavior simulation, we use an agent-based model of network topology. When the parameters of the problem change gradually, an abrupt jump in the cooperation rate may happen and lead to a significant shift in the outcome. Catastrophe theory is a valuable approach to survey these nonlinear changes. This study tries to give some managerial insights to the decision-makers to find the minimum level of necessary effort in which the cooperation dominates the defection.
