Quality of services in airline industry plays an important role in market penetration and customer retention. In this paper, we present a factor analysis to find important factors in Iranian Airline industry. The study designs a questionnaire consist of 35 questions and distribute it among 200 customers who regularly use services from 16 different airlines and they are investigated based on the implementation of factor analysis. The results of our survey determines seven important factors including physical features of the environment, Kettering, Pre-flight passenger services, Ability to respond, Reliability, Passenger service flight and Virtual Passenger Services. The paper discusses that improving these seven factors can significantly improve service quality in this sector.

The present paper aims to analyze, model and optimize regional development of rural and urban areas of Sistan & Balochestan, separately. The relationship between employment changes and growth rate of economic sections has been modeled and numbers of jobs required for providing optimum growth rate have been obtained. This paper indicates that considering the average census of five decades (1956-2006) the situation of labor market and growth rate of economic sections in urban areas are bad and worse in rural areas so that there is need to increase employment considerably in order to achieve minimum economic growth rate ( 1% growth).

Quality of life plays an important role on people's life style and there are many studies to determine important factors influencing it. In this paper, we study the effect of different factors influencing respect for women including upbringing children, strengthening families, participation and community involvement, women's talent political participation increase, women's confidence in accepting responsibility and consent of the docility of marriage. The proposed study of this paper selects a sample from all female students who are enrolled in educational studies in Shiraz university, Iran and using Pearson correlation test, we measure the relationship between seven mentioned items with respect for women. The results indicate that except one case, participation and community involvement, all other factors significantly increase respect for women.

Today, the positive impact of entrepreneurship in the economy has been globally accepted. Entrepreneurs could provide efficient techniques to face with upcoming economic challenges. In this paper, we first investigate the effect of entrepreneurship on growth of economy over the period 2005- 2011. Then we study the impact of four factors including Gross domestic product per worker, Growth in capital per worker, New firm creation and Technological innovation intensity on economic growth. The proposed model of this paper uses ordinary least square technique to investigate the relationship between four independent variables and economic growth. The results show that gross domestic product per worker is the only variable, which is statistically meaningful when the level of significance is five percent and the impact of other three variables including growth in capital per worker, new firm creation and technological innovation intensity are not statistically meaningful. In other word, as we see a 1% increase in gross domestic product per worker we could expect 8.712% increase in economic growth.

Measuring the relative performance of insurance firms plays an important role in this industry. In this paper, we present a two-stage data envelopment analysis to measure the performance of insurance firms, which were active over the period of 2006-2010. The proposed study of this paper performs DEA method in two stages where the first stage considers five inputs and three outputs while the second stage considers the outputs of the first stage as the inputs of the second stage and uses three different outputs for this stage. The results of our survey have indicated that while there were 4 efficient insurance firms most other insurances were noticeably inefficient. This means market was monopolized mostly by a limited number of insurance firms and competition was not fare enough to let other firms participate in economy, more efficiently.

Border markets in many countries have been considered as the most important bridge for building a financial connection between inside and outside the countries. In this paper, we present an empirical study to find the impact of border market on customer satisfaction. The proposed study of this paper considers the effects of eight factors including competitive brand, foreign investment, management of imported goods, governmental supportive rules, monetary policies, supply chain management, buyers, marketing planning and import management on customer satisfaction who purchase on border markets. The proposed model of this paper designs and distributes 400 questionnaires among some experts and uses factor analysis and structural equation modeling to test nine hypotheses. The results indicate that there are some strong evidences that all nine factors impact customer satisfaction and foreign investment has the highest impact on customer satisfaction followed by supply chain management, marketing planning import management.

One of the most important issues in increasing customers & apos; needs is to increase the quality of services through providing better quality services. Customer satisfaction is one of the primary requirements to meet people & apos; s needs and to have an efficient customer relationship management (CRM) we need to detect the most important factors influencing efficiency and effectiveness in banking industry. In this paper, we present an empirical study to detect these factors in one of private banks in Iran. The proposed study of this paper tries to reach three objectives. We first detect important factors, which build customers & apos; perception towards CRM, then we detect all influencing factors, which impact CRM, and finally, we evaluate the impact of CRM towards brand equity. The proposed study first designs a questionnaire and distributes it among 386 customers. Using structural equation modeling and certified factor analysis, we analyze the results. The results indicate that three factors including information, employee job behavior and suggestions and other factor have meaningful impact on customer brand equity. However, the impact of equipment on customer brand equity was not meaningful.

Shareholders expected return is normally impacted by informational risk and informational asymmetry, on the other hand, creates informational risk. Thus, investors demand greater risk premium in the case of informational asymmetry and in turn corporate expenditures increase. In this study, we determine the relationship between informational asymmetry and capital cost. The study uses information of 109 companies listed in Tehran Securities Exchange over the period of 2005-2010 and the results suggest a positive and significant relationship between informational asymmetry and capital cost. In addition, the results from present research indicate that when capital markets are competitive, there is not a significant relationship between informational asymmetry and capital cost. But when markets are partially competitive there is a significant relationship between informational asymmetry and capital cost.

In this paper, we present an empirical study on employees of a private bank to find important factors influencing creative habits. The proposed study of this paper uses Pearson correlation test to detect any meaningful relationship between independent and dependent variables. The results of the study have indicated that sense of being effective is number one priority followed by sense of competence and sense of being meaningful and sense of choice. We have also performed an investigation between employees' personal characteristics and empowering capabilities and the results of our survey have recommended that among different factors including age, gender, educational background and job experience, only age had important effect on empowering employees.

Measuring relative efficiency of various universities has been a subject for years. In fact, when there is a growing competition among educational units, it is important to find facts on each university for making managerial decisions. In this paper, we present an empirical study to measure the relative efficiencies among different private universities in Iran. The proposed study of this paper uses data envelopment analysis along with Malmquist productivity index to measure the relative efficiencies of these units over the period 2004-2007. The method uses three inputs including number of students, number of university professors and the number of employees. The model also includes the number of educated people as well as research outputs for outputs of the DEA model. The results indicate that there are some big gaps among various units in terms of the number of research products and the number of graduated students.
