Abstract:
Despite the recognized importance of service quality in supply chain management, there has been limited research examining the interplay between digital leadership, service quality, and supply chain management. This study employs bibliometric analysis techniques to investigate how digital leadership influences service quality within the context of supply chain management. Utilizing VOSviewer v1.6.20, we analyzed 490 publications from the Web of Science database pertinent to this domain. Our findings reveal that advanced technologies, including digital leadership, IoT, AI, and blockchain, play a crucial role in modernizing supply chains, enhancing operational efficiency, and achieving environmental objectives. The study discusses the broader implications for both theoretical frameworks and practical applications in the field.

doi 10.5267/j.uscm.2024.5.027

๐Ÿ”‘ Keywords: Smart supply chain management, Technology applications, Innovation performance, Sustainability, Bibliometric analysis

Abstract:
This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to explore the nexus of technology applications and innovation performance within the realm of supply chain management (SCM). Despite the increasing importance of smart supply chain management in modern organizations, there is a paucity of research dedicated to this intersection. The primary objective is to identify trends, research gaps, and emerging themes in the literature concerning SSCM, technology applications, and innovation performance. Leveraging the Web of Science database, bibliometric analysis is employed to analyze existing literature, revealing insights into strategies for harnessing technology-driven innovations in SCM. By embracing sustainability principles, companies can position themselves as leaders in an increasingly interconnected and environmentally conscious world, generating long-term value for both them and society.

The entrepreneurship of accounting work and its role in reducing information asymmetry: Evidence from insurance companies Pages 101-114 PDF Download PDF

Authors: Ghaleb Awad Elrefae, Abdul Razzak Alshehadeh, Omar Fayez Ahmad ALbzour, Haneen Al-Khawaja, Nader Mohammad Aljawarneh

doi 10.5267/j.uscm.2023.10.014

๐Ÿ”‘ Keywords: Entrepreneurial Accounting Work, Information Asymmetry, Insurance Companies

Abstract:
The primary aim of this research is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the role played by entrepreneurial accounting practices in mitigating information disparities, as perceived by employees within the realm of Jordanian financial intermediaries. This role is encapsulated in various components, including accounting systems and policies, international financial reporting standards, international external auditing standards, international internal auditing standards, as well as professional and ethical conduct guidelines. In pursuit of our research objectives, we adopted two distinct methodological approaches. Firstly, a descriptive analytical approach was employed, involving the development of a structured questionnaire to gather primary data pertaining to the assessment of independent variables associated with entrepreneurial accounting practices. The second approach encompassed an applied perspective, seeking to gauge the impact of entrepreneurial accounting practices on reducing information asymmetry. This was achieved by examining the financial statements of insurance companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange for the period spanning 2016 to 2022, thereby constituting our dependent variable. Rigorous statistical techniques were employed to meticulously analyze the collected data, with the validation of our hypotheses achieved through a comprehensive multiple regression analysis. The findings of this study distinctly underscore the pivotal role played by entrepreneurial accounting practices in ameliorating information asymmetry issues within the corporate economic landscape. A robust and statistically significant correlation emerged between our dependent variable, namely the reduction of information asymmetry, and both the independent variables associated with entrepreneurial accounting practices and their inherent characteristics. This study's significant recommendation extends beyond the mere technical dimensions of accounting, encompassing a call for a holistic reevaluation of the accounting profession. Addressing the enduring phenomenon of information asymmetry among stakeholders is not merely a concern confined to the technical aspects of accounting. Rather, it represents a profound professional and ethical crisis that permeates the entire accounting ecosystem. This crisis emanates from the very foundations and legal frameworks of the profession, extends through accounting standards, and encompasses professional conduct and ethics. Ultimately, it concludes with the supervision and oversight of the quality of professional performance, an obligation shared by accountants, certified auditors, and management alike.

Abstract:
The objective of this research was to identify the role of empowerment in enhancing Safeway Company's performance in Jordan using structural equation model (SEM). The authors used a predictive-descriptive strategy to determine Safeway Company's levels of empowerment. To evaluate the role of empowerment and performance, a questionnaire was designed and circulated. The data were examined using means, standard deviations, and multiple linear regression analyses. Empowerment and its dimensions from the Safeway company workersโ€™ viewpoint were ranked high in this survey. The performance level and its dimensions were also con-sidered high from the Safeway company workersโ€™ perspective. Furthermore, the results suggest that both of the experienced groups showed significant differences regarding their empowerment's and performance per-spective, meaning that employees with less than five years of job experience were more likely to perceive em-powerment and performance, positively. In light of this result, the authors suggested the Safeway Company to increase and improve its performance to obtain customer satisfaction by encouraging employees to provide the company with feedback which improves the provided services to customers.

Applications of artificial intelligence in administrative work and their legal challenges: A global research landscape Pages 813-822 PDF Download PDF

Authors: Abdallah Kalaf AL-Raggad, Mishael Al-Raggad, Asma Salem Alkrarha, Yazan Abu Huson, Nader Mohammad Aljawarneh

doi 10.5267/j.ijdns.2025.12.002

Abstract:
This study tracks how artificial intelligence is being embedded in administrative work and the legal challenges that follow. Using 528 Web of Science Core Collection records from 2021โ€“2025, this study combines descriptive bibliometrics with VOSviewer science mapping to analyse outlets, themes, citations, and international collaboration. Four interlocking themes dominate: governance, regulation, and accountability; privacy, security, and data-centric risk; technical and organisational enablers; and ethical and legal anchors. This field is internationalized, as evidenced by collaboration networks, with the United States and England serving as primary brokers. The study theoretically develops a socio-technical view of value that connects model performance to institutional practice and human-AI collaboration, as well as governance-by-design and a data-centric account of risk linked to purpose and lifetime. In practical terms, it distills an adoption blueprint that institutionalized risk-proportionate assurance, professionalizes operations, designs for contestability and understandable explanations, and sees privacy as continuous. The limitations of the evidence base and the research objectives for comparative, outcome-focused studies are discussed in the conclusion of the study.

The impact of business intelligence on electronic commerce growth: The mediating role of customer behavior analytics Pages 241-250 PDF Download PDF

Authors: Tariq Khairo Issa Al Daabseh, Nader Mohammad Aljawarneh, Tamara Adel Al-Maaitah, Feras Almarashdi, Ahmad Rasheed AL Fares, Amer Muflih Alkufah

doi 10.5267/j.ijdns.2025.9.023

๐Ÿ”‘ Keywords: Business Intelligence, Electronic commerce Growth, Personal Attitudes, Customer Behavior Analytics

Abstract:
This paper investigates the influence of Business Intelligence (BI) technologies on the growth of electronic commerce, with a specific emphasis on the mediating impact of Customer Behavior Analytics (CBA). Grounded in the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The paper sample comprised 330 customers who use the Amazon website in Jordan. A survey was utilized to gauge the impact of business intelligence on electronic commerce growth: the mediating role of customer behavior analytics. 282 questionnaires were returned for statistical analysis, adopting the quantitative approach, and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The outputs explain that both positive personal attitudes and BI adoption have a significant and positive effect on electronic commerce growth. Moreover, these factors contribute to enhancing CBA, which improves the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities in the digital environment. In theory, this study advances TPB by incorporating BI into models of entrepreneurial development. Practically, it offers smart strategies for nurturing a positive entrepreneurial attitude, widening the availability of BI tools, as well as developing electronic commerce ecosystems driven by BI that enhance operations and fuel the success of e-commerce websites.
