This study was to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial skills and benchmarking on the performance of culinary innovations (restaurants, restaurants, and cafes) of micro-small-medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia sub-urban areas. Online questionnaires were used as the instrument to collect data, and the data were analyzed by deception analysis to illustrate various features of the variables studied. Hypothesis test was conducted by Partial Least Square Path Modeling (SEM-PM). The MSME population was 231 and the representative sample was 144 culinary companies. It was found that entrepreneurial skills, benchmarking, and performance of culinary MSME innovations tended to be lower than expected. The results of this study revealed that entrepreneurship and benchmarking skills had significant effects on innovation performance. To improve innovation performance, companies must pay more attention to practical knowledge, especially knowledge of bookkeeping and digital marketing, and make more comparisons on financial aspects.

Empirical studies related to interrelationships between variables perceived value, customer satisfaction and behavioral intention conducted in the Maldives context and in the medical care industry is very rare. A quantitative cross-sectional study conducted in natural settings using a survey questionnaire to assess the interrelationships between above mentioned variables by utilizing a conceptual model created from three interrelationship models obtained from previous research. Data collected from willing participants across the 19 atolls resulting in a total of 385 responses obtained after data cleaning. A stratified proportionate random sampling method used. SPSS 25.00 and AMOS 23.00 used as analysis tools. The Sobel test applied to analyze the mediating effect of customer satisfaction on the relationship between perceived value and behavioral intention which confirmed a positive and significant relationship between perceived value, customer satisfaction and behavioral intention. Study rejected the hypothesis which test the mediation of customer satisfaction on the relationship between perceived value and behavioral intention. This study is first of its kind to generalize findings on Maldivian’s medical seeking behavior, and results helps policymakers, medical practitioners, medical institutions, and respective administrations to provide better customer perceived value towards providing higher customer satisfaction, which in effect improve customer behavioral intention towards medical care service providers.

In the current COVID-19 pandemic, this paper attempts to empirically find out the increasing workplace bullying effect on project performance with employee deviant behaviour as a mediator, internal, and external locus of control as moderators. The random sampling technique was used to gather data from 777 employees, working in construction companies in Pakistan. The examination was established using WarpPLS software version 7.0. The results revealed that workplace bullying is positively associated with employee deviant behaviour which in return negatively affects the project performance. It can be inferred from the results that the “moderating role” of internal “locus of control” is insignificant; whereas the external “locus of control” significantly moderates the relationship between workplace bullying & employee deviant behaviour. The proposed research and hypotheses support social exchange theory and social behaviour exchanges. This study has clarified some unique points that are equally important for the managers, employees, and project-based construction organization as a whole. It is also recommended that once the pandemic COVID-19 passes, it would be the dire need of that time to re-evaluate that, what has been changed in terms of professional thinking, working & behaving as for as their project work and communication between the team members is concerned.

The study investigated the effect of psychological empowerment (PE) in between the High Performance Work System (HPWS) and Service Employees Performance (SEP) in the Automotive Retail Industry of Malaysia. We developed and examined a mediation model linking perceived-HPWS to SEP and PE plays as a mediator. From the self-determination theory, defined motivation as being intrinsic and extrinsic, whether PE enables the employees meeting the performance expectation. The proposed model can be substantiated wide data collection and data analysis. The research data are collected from a sample of 72 employees through a questionnaire. The findings suggest that the PE is a significant influence on SEP. It is expected that the findings of this study will guide Human Resource (HR) Practitioners to establish appropriate policies and procedures for effective HR practices to be deployed in the organization especially in the service industry environment.

The primary objective of the present research is to examine the impact of touch and gustatory stimuli on airline image and repurchase intention. Furthermore, the present research examines the moderating role of price fairness and mediation impact of airline image. The researchers gather data from the customers of PIA and Airblue travelling abroad from Islamabad International Airport, Karachi International airport and Lahore International airport by employing multi-stage sampling technique. Total of 576 questionnaires was distributed among the respondents, and the response rate was 68.9%. For the analysis of data received, the researcher employed PLS-SEM. The finding of the study confirmed the significant impact of touch and gustatory stimuli on airline image and repurchase intention. Findings of the study revealed the mediating role of airline image among touch, gustatory and repurchase intention was significant as well. At the end, perceived price fairness also moderated the relationship of airline image and repurchase intention. The present study fills the gap of limited studies conducted in the past regarding sensory stimuli in the context of the airline industry, the role of airline image as a mediator under SOR model and moderating impact of perceived price. Findings of the present study are helpful for policymakers and practitioners of the airline industry in Pakistan to develop the strategy by which they can retain their customers on international routes.

This study examines the relationship of two important constructs (the belief and attitude constructs) with managers’ proclivity for using Social Dialogue – a tool for managing people at work (patronised by ILO) for maintaining peace and harmony in Bangladeshi textile industries. Managers’ personal belief and attitude within an organisation might affect the managerial responses towards social dialogue. The obtained data from the questionnaires are analysed through the 1st generation statistical packaged software (SPSS) and hypotheses are tested using Smart PLS software package well known as 2nd generation data analysis software. Analyses results strongly supported the relationship of the belief and attitude construct with managers’ proclivity for using social dialogue. The research surveyed three hundred fifty-one managers at 49 textile industries. The findings of this study suggest that the belief and attitude construct have a significant positive relationship with managers’ penchant for supporting social dialogue. The result of the paper provides managers with a credible argument to continually question their employee perceptions and objectively analyse whether their beliefs and attitudes impact their intention to use social dialogue. The selected sample should have been from strategic, tactical, and operational level of management that remains as a research limitation.

The development of green marketing has received the attention of various levels of business around the world. The promotion of green marketing is now shaping all business sectors' practices, including the property industry. Yogyakarta is one of the cities whose industry has been developing so fast. This study explored green purchase intention to succeed in green marketing promotion. It examined how the relationship between green purchase intention with the variables supporting it and measuring its value. This research was completed with two methods: identifying the relationship between the green purchase intention variables (endogenous) with variables and their indicators (exogenous) that affect the value of green purchase intention. The identification using structural equation modelling. While the measurement of green purchase intention values was carried out using a dynamic system simulation. The data was collected through the survey method on 400 sample sizes. The results obtained, a significant relationship between 4 exogenous variables and the endogenous variable and also obtained some prediction value per unit time.

Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) greatly relies on tacit knowledge sharing. Hence, it is important to investigate the means of promoting knowledge retention. The growth of technology in knowledge management system triggers the transformation of knowledge quality to leverage institutional knowledge. HEIs as knowledge provider needs a knowledge sharing network which can meet the demands of changing knowledge. This paper aims to study the mediating role of knowledge management (KM) system quality between organizational factors and tacit knowledge sharing among academics of HEIs. Barron and Kenny method was used to measure the direct and indirect influence of KM system quality between organisational factors and tacit knowledge sharing. The prelude findings reveal that knowledge management system was effective through organisational factors which promote tacit knowledge sharing among academics of HEIs.

The damaging effects of market globalization towards developing countries necessitate the exhibition of favorable attitudes towards purchase intention for local brand automobiles manufactured locally. With the application of moral foundation theory (MFT), a quantitative and cross-sectional study that involved 373 Proton potential consumers through a mall intercept survey in Malaysia was analyzed. The results show that Proton’s potential consumers had favorable attitudes towards purchase intention for Proton automobiles. Subsequent to a high mean score of collectivism and a moderate mean score of ethnocentrism, Proton potential consumers’ ethnocentric tendency offers a contradiction to extant literatures on consumer ethnocentrism in developing countries. Thus, our study posits that consumers from collectivistic societies are ethnocentric and further display favorable attitudes towards local products. Additionally, the predictive effects of consumer ethnocentrism and collectivism on attitudes towards purchase intention for local brand automobiles manufactured locally were ascertained. Our findings validated the applicability of MFT in explaining consumers’ attitudes towards local products. Other implications are also discussed.

The property is a unique product that cannot be contrasted with other commercial products due to pricing conditions. Property price determination is one of the crucial aspects of property development activities because of the profit margin made by the developer and the purchasing preferences. This study attempts to extend the literature that has largely focused on factors of housing prices in developed markets and provided recent evidence of housing price determinants in two countries (i.e., Indonesia and Malaysia). Thus, this study examines the factors affecting housing prices in Jakarta Metropolitan Region and Greater Kuala Lumpur. A quantitative approach was used involving two countries, namely Indonesia and Malaysia. The data was collected using a survey questionnaire through purposive sampling. A total of 100 respondents (Indonesia) and 134 respondents (Malaysia) participated in this study. The data was analyzed using descriptive (frequency) and inferential statistics (chi-square test and multinomial regression). The results indicated that housing location, property funding, and health have a significant effect on residential property prices in Indonesia. Besides that, the results displayed that housing physical design, home design and construction, developer and real estate products, development concepts, housing location, property funding, social status, health, law provisions, and external factors do not affect residential property price in Malaysia. Despite being neighbors, Indonesia and Malaysia have distinct economic and landscape characteristics. Furthermore, considering Indonesia has a higher number of Covid-19 cases than Malaysia, significant information on how the pandemic has affected the demand, cost, and pricing of residential housing in Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur will be provided. The findings of this study will provide recommendations to investors, buyers, and policy about the residential housing industry's prospects for growth in emerging nations following the pandemic.
