doi 10.5267/j.msl.2020.12.011 Crossmark

Keywords: Green Marketing Promotion, Property Industry, Green Purchase Intention, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), System Dynamics

Abstract:
The development of green marketing has received the attention of various levels of business around the world. The promotion of green marketing is now shaping all business sectors' practices, including the property industry. Yogyakarta is one of the cities whose industry has been developing so fast. This study explored green purchase intention to succeed in green marketing promotion. It examined how the relationship between green purchase intention with the variables supporting it and measuring its value. This research was completed with two methods: identifying the relationship between the green purchase intention variables (endogenous) with variables and their indicators (exogenous) that affect the value of green purchase intention. The identification using structural equation modelling. While the measurement of green purchase intention values was carried out using a dynamic system simulation. The data was collected through the survey method on 400 sample sizes. The results obtained, a significant relationship between 4 exogenous variables and the endogenous variable and also obtained some prediction value per unit time.

doi 10.5267/j.msl.2020.7.017 Crossmark

Keywords: External Learning, Instructional Agility, Product Innovation Efficacy, VHS performance, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), Vocational High School (VHS)

Abstract:
Involving industry in the implementation of Vocational High School (VHS) policy not only provides knowledge into business needs, but also allows industries to affect strategies and programs for learning and teaching across the VHS overall. This study suggests that external learning contributes to the instructional agility, and product innovation efficacy, resulting in VHS performance. The research examines the analysis of structural equation modelling (SEM) based on empirical data gathered from 129 Vocational High Schools in Bali Province, Indonesia. The research attempts to focus specifically on how instructional agility, and product innovation efficacy mediates the influence of external learning on VHS performance in Indonesia. The study shows that external learning has no impact on VHS performance, while it indirectly improves the VHS performance through all of instructional agility, and product innovation efficacy.

The effect of strategic external integration on financial performance with mediating role of manufacturing flexibility: Evidence from bottled drinking industry in Indonesia Pages 3495-3506 Right click to download the paper Download PDF

Authors: Gede Ariadi, Surachman Surachman, Sumiati Sumiati, Fatchur Rohman

doi 10.5267/j.msl.2020.6.045 Crossmark

Keywords: Manufacturing flexibility, Strategic Supplier Integration (SSI), Strategic Customer Integration (SCI), Financial performance, Structural equation modelling (SEM), Indonesia bottled drinking industry

Abstract:
Manufacturing flexibility is critical for businesses in adapting to the unstable conditions cre-ated by environmental influences such as consumer demand complexities, raw material disruptions, and industrial policy changes. In order to analyze the way of improving manufacturing flexibility, this study suggests that strategic supplier integration (SSI) and strategic customer integration (SCI) lead to the flexibilities in production process, resulting in high financial performance. This research measures the analysis of structural equation modelling based on empirical data obtained from 139 manufacturers in Indonesia. The study aims to shed light into how manufacturing flexibility mediates the impact of strategic external integration on financial performance within the bottled drinking industry in Indonesia. The study reveals that both SSI and SCI had a major impact on financial performance, while they indirectly increase the financial performance through manufacturing flexibility.

Business networking and sustainability of small rural business: Mediating effects of entrepreneurial orientation Pages 595-606 Right click to download the paper Download PDF

Authors: Mohd. Amin Mohamad, Othman Chin

doi 10.5267/j.msl.2019.1.003 Crossmark

Keywords: Business Networking, Entrepreneurial Orientation, Business Sustainability, Small Rural Business (SRB), Structural Equation Modelling (SEM)

Abstract:
This study aims to examine the entrepreneurial orientation (EO) of the Small Rural Business (SRB) entrepreneurs in Malaysia by taking Business Networking (BN) as the antecedent. BN is used to explain the influence of EO as a mediator and its’ consequences towards SRB Business Sustaina-bility (BS). The survey method was employed in this study and the data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) multivariate data analysis. Based on the SEM analysis, it can be concluded that in this study, the relationship between BN and BS was not mediated by EO. However, BN has direct effect towards EO. Moreover, EO and BN were significant as predictors towards BS. Size, age and technology of SRB were used as control variables in this study.

doi 10.5267/j.ac.2018.6.001 Crossmark

Keywords: Gender, Entrepreneurial Marketing (EM), Firm Performance (FP), Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), Small and Medium Enterprise (SME)

Abstract:
This study examines the role of gender on entrepreneurial marketing (EM) and Bangladeshi Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) performance relationship. A self-administered questionnaire was conducted. A total of 220 owners of SMEs in Bangladesh were selected randomly as respondents from the list of active SMEs in Dhaka and Narayanganj city. The data were analyzed by using SEM-AMOS package 25.0. This study finds that there was a significant and direct effect of entrepreneurial marketing on firm performance. In addition, there was a significant effect of gender as a moderating variable in this relationship. At the corporate level, this study provides insights for the SMEs in making decisions related to gender and firm performance. The implications of the above findings are discussed.
