The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine whether the Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) and organizational culture can improve employee performance, (2) To conduct further research on employee performance by elaborating and analyzing variables that can affect work engagement, among others: members of the leadership and organizational culture. This research was conducted at a Telecommunication Company in Makassar, South Sulawesi with a sample size of 93 people. The analysis model used to determine the influence between variables was a structural model with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. In this study it was found that 1. LMX had no significant effect on job involvement. 2. LMX had no significant effect on worker performance. 3. Organizational culture had a significant effect on work engagement. 4. Organizational culture had a significant effect on employee performance, 5. Work management had no significant effect on employee performance. Leaders need to build high-level LMX relationships, equip workers with skills, increase employee professionalism and provide opportunities for employees, help solve the difficulties they face related to assigned tasks and make employees as friends so that they can increase their engagement and performance.

Training and development have been applied in many aspects for organization performance. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between training and development and organizational performance. In addition, the study also analyzes the influence of organizational culture as a mediator in the relationship between training and development and organizational performance. The data are analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. IBM Statistical Package for the social sciences software (IBM-SPSS) version 23 and Smart Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) version 4.3 were used to evaluate the hypotheses of the study. The survey of the study involved 219 employees in courier service organizations in Malaysia. The finding of the study shows that there was a positive relationship between training and development and organizational performance. Furthermore, the finding also reveals that organization culture mediate the relationship between training and development and organization performance. Hence organizations should consistently train and develop their employees through formal and informal training programs as well as encourage employees to embrace organizational culture and values as well as cultivate the core values of organizational culture amongst employees to strengthen and improve organizational performance.

This study aims to examine the influence of organizational culture on job satisfaction through knowledge sharing. The sample in this study totaled 259 lecturers, 50 groups of study programs at 27 universities. Hypothesis testing uses Hierarchical linear modeling (HLM). The results show that organizational culture had a significant positive effect on knowledge sharing, knowledge sharing had a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, and organizational culture had a positive and significant effect on satisfaction directly or indirectly.

The objective of this investigation was to identify the current organizational culture of the financial system of the province of Huancayo and the culture that they wanted, to serve as a complement to the traditional indicators of the sector. The Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) was practiced on 412 workers from 16 financial institutions. It is a quantitative, non-experimental and descriptive study.

Tourism plays an important role in increasing the use of labor. The hospitality industry is the biggest part of the world of tourism. The study aims to analyze the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of PT Jaktour employees, which is one of the hospitality companies seen from the organizational culture, interpersonal communication and organizational commit-ment. The research uses a survey method with a quantitative approach. The population is em-ployees, taking samples using simple random sampling technique obtained 237 respondents. The collected data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) AMOS software which was previously tested by the model. The results of research show that there was a posi-tive and significant relationship between organizational culture and communication skills on organizational commitment. There is also a positive and significant influence of organization-al culture and commitment to OCB, and there is a significant and negative influence between communication skills and OCB and there is a positive and significant influence of organizational culture and communication skills on OCB mediated by organizational commitment. The findings of the study suggest that organizational culture and communication skills did not show any significant results, meaning that communication skills did not support OCB. It is expected that the next researcher can deepen the research with different objects, while paying attention to communication skills.

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership style, organizational culture and motivation partially on the performance of permanent lecturers at Universitas Maarif Hasyim Sidoarjo. The object of this research is associated with the development of the world of education, while the scope of research concentrates on the area of Ngelom, Megare Sepajang Taman, Indonesia. The type of research is descriptive with explanatory research. Sampling is conducted by proportional stratified random sampling method. The population of this study includes all lecturers at Maarif Hasyim Latif University. Data analysis uses multiple linear re-gression analysis. The results show that Leadership Style, Organizational Culture, and Motivation simultaneously influence on the Performance of Permanent Lecturers.

This research was carried out in fourteen ministries and one national staff agency, which was the largest and most comprehensive study of government institutions that examined the importance of the recruitment, selection and organizational culture of employee performance which is still an important issue in developing coun-tries. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of recruitment, selection and organizational culture on the performance of civil servants, especially at the National Personnel Agency and 14 Ministries. This re-search was conducted in the Democratic Republic of Timor Leste (RDTL) with an area of 15,410 KM2. The total population is 1,261,072 people. The study began in September 2018 until February 2019, using quantitative (positivism) methods. The study was conducted using proportional random sampling, so that from each work unit a total of 1000 target populations and 286 samples were obtained using a questionnaire. This re-search used structural equation modeling (SEM) method with partial least square (SEM-PLS) approach. The results of the study found that well-programed recruitment was not able to provide significant results either directly or through organizational culture, but recruitment could have a significant effect on job performance through mediation selection. Moreover, well-programmed recruitment backed by selection quality could improve employee performance.

This study seeks to investigate the association between organizational culture and employees' commitment in the Jordanian hotel sector. The data that were gathered from 248 hotel employees, were about the respondents' organizational culture and its impact on the employees' commitment. Data were collected using the Organizational Culture Index (Wallach, 1983) [Wallach, E. J. (1983). Individuals and organizations: The cultural match. Training & Development Journal,37, 29-36.], and Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (Mowday et al. 1982) [Mowday, R.T., Porter, L.W. and Steers, R.M. (1982). Employee-Organization Linkages: The Psychology of Commitment, Absenteeism and Turnover. Academic Press, New York.]. De-scriptive statistics were reported, and hypotheses testing using SmartPLS3 was used. Generally, and with some unexpected outcomes, organizational culture was found to be significantly associated with organizational commitment. It was confirmed that bureaucratic and supportive culture were the predictable dimensions of commitment, while innovative culture was found to be an unpredictable dimension of commitment. This study provides useful managerial implications and contributes to the existing pool of knowledge on the relationships be-tween organizational culture and organizational commitment. Different aspects and context of these variables were tested to provide a wider and more comprehensive understanding on the factors which affect organizations and employees.

High rates in turnover of skilled employees can turn to be a very significant concern in organizations world-wide. Turnover affects productivity, product or service quality and of course profitability. As Human Resources (HR) activities can be considered as a primary source of sustainable competitive advantage in organisations, it would also play a major role in employees’ intention to stay or to leave. This paper examines the influence of different human resource practices on employees’ job satisfaction and organizational commitment and eventually on job turnover with a focus on the governmental sector in the State of Qatar. In order to develop such investigation, a model was suggested and an online questionnaire was developed and distributed. Hypotheses were tested on a sample of more than 250 highly ranked employees in Qatar. Statistical correlations were conducted to examine the relationships among variables under investigation. The results show that positive relationships were observed between the HR practices under investigation and job satisfaction and organizational commitment which indicate intention to stay.

This study unraveled the effects of strategic management and organizational culture on organizational performance. It also determined the most triggering predictor of organizational performance. In this study, strategic management focused particularly on the formulation and implementation strategy. A number of 291 officers from government organizations participated in this study. Self-administered questionnaire was employed for the data collection. The analysis revealed that the performance of government organizations was impacted by organizational culture, dimensions of formulation and implementation strategy. Organizational culture emerged as the most triggering predictor on organizational performance. The study concludes with some implications for practice and theory.
