The study aimed to examine the brand which is among the main dimensions for making the final purchasing decision among Jordanian consumers when selecting a cellular device which is an index for them and when purchasing in particular. Within this frame, the study aimed to investigate the factors influencing purchasing decision of Jordanian consumers when selecting the brand of cellular devices. The study followed the analytic descriptive approach in data collection where a questionnaire was distributed on a random sample of 240 participants from the study population. The study concluded that there was a positive relationship between the quality of cellular devices and the selection of brand and this relationship was attributed to the variables of gender, age, and educational culture. In light of the results revealed, the study recommended the producers of cellular devices of the various brands to offer high quality products with appropriate prices that take into accounts the purchasing power for consumers based on the targeted markets.

Entrepreneurship is currently a popular topic for research due to the influence it brings to bear on multiple areas of life. Consequently, it is necessary to recognize the behaviors that boost the chances of entrepreneurs and their startups achieving success. This research primarily seeks to investigate the extent to which networking behaviors can influence the success of entrepreneurial startups in Jordan. For this purpose, the authors propose and study six networking behaviors as independent variables, namely cultivating internal contacts, cultivating external contacts, socialization, getting involved in professional activities, taking part in community activities, and raising one’s profile within the company. The dependent variable is the success of entrepreneurial startups. A quantitative analysis was conducted by distributing a questionnaire to startup companies in Amman, Jordan. The results confirm that the better entrepreneurs are at practicing these networking behaviors, the more influence they have on the success of their startups. Those behaviors that carry most influence are cultivating internal contacts, cultivating external contacts, and getting involved in professional activities. Finally, the research recommends further study should be carried out to make known the full impact of these six networking behaviors, in addition to encouraging more wholesale adoption of entrepreneurial networking behaviors to increase the probability of success for entrepreneurial startups.

This paper aims to investigate the moderating role of organizational routines in the relationship between behavioral repertoire and four types core competencies and four types of core competencies; including Uniqueness, Extendibility, Customer Value and Integrative Competencies are considered to measure core competencies. The study conducts a questionnaire survey in commercial Jordanian banks. The sample includes 475 employees within researched banks, and the study employs the Hierarchical Multiple Regression Analysis to test the hypotheses. Behavioral Repertoire has a significant positive effect on the four types of core competencies. Organizational Routines moderate this relationship between Behavioral Repertoire and Core Competencies. This research is one of the first attempts that investigate the relation-ship between Behavioral Repertoire, Organizational Routines and Core Competencies, extending the knowledge regarding the value of these variables and its relationship for the different types of organization.

The purpose of this research is to investigate a compilation model of employee individual characteristics towards plan commitment in public organizations. To achieve this, we propose a novel conceptual model that explains the relationship between cognitive style and commit-ment to strategic planning on Jordan ministry of interior. We then investigate the mediation role of the user acceptance model for both perceived ease of use and usefulness of the strategic planning process among the study variables. Data were collected from 365 employees and sen-ior management at the ministry of interior of Jordan. Data analysis was performed using structural equation modeling (SEM). Our results show that there was a significant relationship between cognitive style and user acceptance model alongside a commitment to strategic planning. In addition, our results show that the perceived usefulness of the strategic planning process mediated the positive relationship between cognitive style and plan commitment.

This study aims to examine the impact of the Personnel Creativity (PC) on Strategic Agility (SA) on the Sama Jordan for Food and Industrial Investments using Knowledge Sharing (KS) as a mediating variable. The study also examines the interrelationships between the constructs influencing SA. The study sample includes all the employees of the company of Sama Jordan for Food and Industrial Investments. In order to gather the required data, the study designs and distributes some questionnaire among different employees. Qualitative data is mainly collected to answer the research questions. Additionally, 76 valid surveys are used for data analysis and testing of hypotheses is performed by employing AMOS program. The results indicate that KM was the mediating variable on the relation between PC and SA. Overall, the proposed model helps the employees who work in the organization to increase our understanding on how these factors interact in order to create value to customers and develop future strategies to improve SA.

This research paper aims to examine the impact of social media advertisement attributes, including informativeness, trust, and irritation, and internet users’ motivational factors; namely investigation, customization, opportunity seeking, interaction, and entertainment on individuals' attitude towards advertisements over social media sites in Jordan. A conceptual research model was proposed based on the relevant literature to be empirically tested. Data was collected using an online questionnaire survey administered to 256 participants. Hypotheses were tested using single and multiple linear regression analyses. Results show that advertisement design factors along with internet users’ motives were all significant factors affecting the attitude towards advertisements on social media sites with entertainment, interaction and informativeness had the highest impact. Based on the research findings, recommendations were reported for academicians and practitioners. Limitations and promising areas for further research were discussed.

This paper aims at examining the influence of strategic leadership on increasing ethical prac-tices within pharmaceutical organizations in Jordan. Variables of strategic leadership include work environment, leader's traits, leadership style and strategic leaders' performance. The study designs a questionnaire and distributes it among (277) employees and leaders within pharmaceutical organizations in Jordan. The results of the study indicate positive influence of strategic leadership on ethical practices among individuals and employees in the organization. Results also indicate that leadership performance maintained the strongest effect on ethical stands attributed from strategic leadership which gives an indication that a good performance strategic leadership is probably more influential on ethical practices and decision making in pharmaceutical organizations. The study recommends that organizations within pharmaceutical industry should pay extra attention to aspects that are related to increase employees' awareness towards ethics in leadership and business.

This research aims to recognize the impact of servant leadership on organizational citizenship behavior in Jordanian Islamic Banks where job satisfaction is a mediating variable. The research sample is selected from three Jordanian Islamic Banks operating in Jordan. The sample selected 168 people for the current research based on a random sample technique. The results indicate that there is a positive correlation between servant leadership and organizational citizenship behavior. There is also a significant impact of the servant leadership on the organizational citizenship behavior and a significant impact of servant leadership on the organizational citizenship behavior through job satisfaction at the Jordanian Islamic Banks.

This study investigates the mechanism by which customers’ affective and cognitive states drive their behavioural intentions towards upscale restaurants. With stimulus-organism-response (SOR) theory as a backbone, two competing mediation scenarios; one-step versus two-step mediation are examined. A dataset of 425 conveniently selected valid responses was used to test the models. Structural equation modelling shows that customer behavioural intentions were better explained by a cognitive-affective mediated model than by one-step mediated model. The results of hypotheses testing reveal the significance of restaurant design in enrichening customers’ cognitive experience, thus, eliciting their affective states, which ultimately affect their behavioural intentions. This paper shows the applicability of the cognitive theory of emotions in explaining restaurant design-customer behavioural intentions relationship. The results also provide insights for restaurant operators on how the design characteristics of their restaurants can be best utilised to encourage positive customer responses. Discussion, conclusion and future work are also provided.

The study aimed to identify the extent of Jordanian costumers' satisfaction with electrical appliances' after-sale services offered by both LG and Samsung companies. The researcher used the analytic descriptive approach for data collection from the primary resources through developing a questionnaire for the purposes of this study. The sample of the study included 400 clients for L.G and Samsung companies. The results of the study indicate a relationship be-tween after-sale services offered by both companies and consumers' satisfaction. In addition, there was a relationship between quality guarantee certificate offered by LG and Samsung companies for electrical appliances and consumers' satisfaction. In light of the results, the study recommended with the necessity of the existence of a specialized team within the com-pany to offer maintenance services, offering financial compensations in case there is a technical error with any product or substituting the product.
