The concept of Social Responsibility (SR) has been evolved during the last decade and most organisations care about their society and the environment. While incorporating SR programs through organizational strategies would be mostly optional, the benefits of “doing a good business” may enhance competitiveness. Hospitality industry is not far from this where hotel sector can achieve several desirable outcomes adopting SR initiatives. Despite the fact that many services are intangible by their nature and they are evaluated based on perceptions, the willingness created by social initiatives can lead to an advantage through brand image. In re-turn, a “good social reputation” can create and maintain customer loyalty in hotels and hospi-tality. This paper investigates the role of SR on competitiveness through the mediating role of customer loyalty. A model is developed and examined through hotel industry in Qatar. Statis-tical results show that all research hypotheses were accepted and customer loyalty could be retained by incorporating SR values affecting competitiveness in hospitality industry in Qatar.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between two main dimensions, Brand Association and Customer Loyalty. Besides, the research is also conducted to test other relevant networks of Brand Awareness, Brand Equity and Customers’ Willing To Pay. A survey of which questionnaires using Likert Scale to online retailers’ customers in the North, Central, and the South (8 largest cities in Vietnam) was conducted to collect the data including 380 personally responded answers. Scale Test, Exploratory Factor Analysis, Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling were used to prove concrete relationships amongst variances, understand factors, analyze the Goodness of Fit of the Measurement model and bring about regression weights, respectively. The results authenticated that Brand Association and Brand Awareness produce remarkable effects on Customer Loyalty. Brand Association holds a cardinal importance to Customers’ Willing To Pay. Not only can the findings be of substance for academic purpose but also they make a great contribution to the development of companies of which Customer’s Loyalty is the lynch pin.

This study aims to determine the effect of Muslim customer perceived value on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty of sharia banking and religiosity role in moderating the existing effect. The study population includes all customers of Sharia banking. Total samples of 104 respondents are selected by accidental sampling technique. To know and to test the research hypothesis, data are analyzed by partial least square (PLS). This study has four results. First, the Muslim customer perceived value (MCPV) variable directly affects customer satisfaction. It consists of price, emotional values, and social values variables. While the quality, Islamic physical attributes, and Islamic non-physical attributes variables directly do not affect satisfaction of Islamic bank-ing customers. Second, Muslim customer perceived value (MCPV) variable directly affects customer loyalty. It consists of price, emotional value, physical and non-physical attributes of Islam. Moreover, quality and social value variables directly do not affect loyalty of sharia banking customers. Third, satisfaction only mediates the effect of price, emotional value, and social value variables on the loyalty of sharia banking customers. Satisfaction does not mediate the effect of quality, Islamic physical attributes, and Islamic non-physical attributes affect the loyalty of sharia banking customers. Forth, Religiosity does not moderate the effect of Muslim customer perceived value (MCPV) variable, namely Islamic physical attributes and Islamic non-physical attributes, on satisfaction of sharia banking customers.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of customer relationship management on customer loyalty (CL) at Jordan Telecommunication Company through business process management. The researcher uses the descriptive analytical method to scan members’ opinions. The random sample includes (367) workers from different sectors all over the country. The results show that customer relation management (CRM) has a dramatic impact on customer loyalty and business process management (BPM). Besides, BPM plays a vital role between CRM and CL. This study appears to be the first study in Jordan which empirically examines the indirect relationship between customer relation management and customer loyalty via business process management.

The aim of this study is to investigate the mediating mechanism of customer satisfaction (CS) on customer relationship management (CRM) and customer loyalty (CL) among Nigerian consolidated banks. This paper used a survey research design, and the study unit of analysis consists of selected customers among Nigerian consolidated banks. This study used a purposive sampling technique whereby structured questionnaires were used to collect data from 750 customers of the 5 focused banks in Kano State, Nigeria. Partial least square–structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was used to evaluate the study hypotheses. The outcome of the study revealed that CRM has a significant effect on CL while CS partially mediates CRM and CL relationship. This paper provides substantial results to practitioners to realize the role of developing a CRM strategy in the Nigerian banking industry. In line with that, the management of the banks should build sound CRM components such as process fit, customer information quality and information system support to deliver sound services in order to operate and compete in the banking ecosystem effectively. This paper has made a substantial contribution to the body of knowledge in the CS, CL, and CRM literature by operationalizing it within the Nigerian banking industry.

The current study purpose is to investigate the effect of service innovation, corporate image, and human capital strategy and customer loyalty on performance for small and micro community enterprise of rice products in central northeast Thailand. For this objective, researchers applied the quantitative research approach and used the cross sectional research design. To obtain data, the researchers distributed questionnaires directly and online to respondents which were small and micro community enterprise of rice products in central northeast Thailand for 1 month from the beginning of September and obtained valid answers totaling 320 responses, which then we chose to be the sample in this study. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) results show that corporate image had a positive and significant relationship with the human capital strategy. In the same vein, the customer loyalty had also a positive and significant relationship with the humane capital strategy. Further findings show that service innovation had also a positive and significant relationship with the human capital strategy. Moreover, service innovation, corporate image, customer loyalty had also a positive and significant relationship with the business performance. On the other hand, human capital strategy had also a positive and significant relationship with the business performance. Based on these findings, the current study could provide researchers and policy makers to know about the importance of all predictors to increase their business performance.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of customer satisfaction and customer delight on customer loyalty through customer retention. Data were collected using a questionnaire developed based on the literature and administered to a sample of restaurant customers consisting of 376 customers. Using IBM SPSS and AMOS software for data analyses, the results indicate that customer retention had a perfect mediating role in the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty and a partial mediating role in the effect of customer delight on customer loyalty. The study provided several contributions. A key contribution to researchers is that the effect of customer satisfaction on other variables, particularly customer loyalty should be assessed in terms of its direct and indirect effects. A basic contribution to managers is that both satisfied and delighted customers have potential intentions to defect, hence, retaining customers is a crucial step to ensure loyalty. Delighted customers are more likely to be retained and retained customers are ready to be loyal customers.

Customer loyalty plays an important role for the success of aviation companies. Most airlines companies rec-ognized that a frequent flyer is about 10 times more valuable than an associational flyer. As a result, it is essen-tial to evaluate determinants of Vietnamese frequent flyers related to loyalty toward American-based airlines like Delta Air Lines. The customer loyalty was impacted by service quality, brand image, perceived value, pric-ing policy, and customer satisfaction. A sample of 300 Vietnamese frequent flyers of Delta Air Lines was col-lected for this study. The primary data was analyzed with SPSS and AMOS. The results indicate that service quality had no impact on customer loyalty of Delta Air Lines frequent flyers in Vietnam while the rest variables maintained some effects. There were several limitations of this study such as sampling, questionnaires design, and data collection. This research also contributed implications for further studies about customer loyalty in aviation industry.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effect of marketing mix on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction in food and beverage products of SMEs in Malaysia. The method of collecting data is by using questionnaire and a sample of 300 customers is used for data gathering. Path analysis and Sobel test are used in analyzing the data. The finding shows that product, promotion, place and price have positive effects on customer satisfaction of food and beverage products SMEs in Malaysia. Product, promotion, place and price give contribution to customer satisfaction about 68.9% while the rest is affected by other variables which are not included in this research. Moreover, customer satisfaction has a positive effect on customer loyalty. The finding also shows that product, promotion, place and price had positive effects on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction of food and beverage products SMEs in Malaysia. Product, promotion, place, price and customer satisfaction influence on customer loyalty about 61.7%.

This research examines the customer engagement on social media platforms in the tourism industry and its effect on customer loyalty through the mediated effect of customer trust. Furthermore, the moderating role of product learning is investigated on the hypothesized relationships. Data was collected from guests in 5 stars hotels in Kyrenia region in Northern Cyprus. In this study, out of the 459 collected surveys, only 419 were analyzed due to missing or incomplete data. The analysis conducted here followed the two step approach for structure equations modelling. Firstly, a confirmato-ry factor analysis was appraised to prepare data for structural model. Then the structural model helped shape our direct hypothesis testing, before analyzing the mediating and moderating impacts. The data provided evidence to link customer interactions on social media with trust and loyalty (Hypotheses 1-3) while trust revealed a mediating effect between interaction and loyalty. Finally, product learning did have an empowering impact on the relationship between interaction and trust.
