The aim of this research is to analyze leadership style, work-life balance, and employee engagement on the ship crew’s work effectiveness of 290 ship crews. The study is performed using a sample technique through Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling taken from the population of 1050 ship crew of passengers of vessel at Port of Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, Indonesia. The study uses quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling, with the help of the Lisrel program. The result of this study shows that leadership style, work-life balance and employee engagement directly and positively influence the work effectiveness. The benefit for Indonesia National Shipping is that through the improvement of leadership style of the officers, work-life bal-ance, and employee engagement, the Indonesia National Shipping may improve the work effectiveness of eve-ry ship crew. The findings provide a model for employee engagement and work effectiveness of national shipping ship crew. The output of this study states that every change in the quality of ship officer’s leadership style, quality of work-life balance and employee engagement directly and positively influenced the ship crew’s work effectiveness of Indonesia National Shipping.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of supply chain management on competitive advantage, the effect of supply chain management on performance and the effect of competitive advantage on performance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The object of this research includes all SMEs in Tangerang, the population in this study also covers all 680 Small and Medium Enterprises in Tangerang, Indonesia. The research method uses quantitative methods and the technique used for data collection is by using an online questionnaire. Questionnaires are given to 210 owners or managers of Small and Medium Enterprises who were selected using the simple random sampling method. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with data processing tools using SmartPLS software. The results of data analysis show that supply chain management has a positive and significant effect on the performance of SMEs. Supply chain management has a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage. Finally, competitive advantage has a positive and significant effect on performance.

Lots of work has been conducted to explore and explain inter-organizational relations between supply chain partners. However, we have noticed that there is no accurate agreement between authors. Therefore, to better understand this disparity, the authors have studied supply chain inter-organizational relationship dynamics in different industries to bring out an analytical framework that allows a better understanding of such an issue. Further, the framework is subjected to expert’s opinion and ranked using the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) approach. These case studies instruct professionals and researchers so that they bring up their level of abstraction that remains appropriate to catch this dynamic in order to guide decision-making and future research and studies.

Creative industry has high contribution to the national economy. Some literature shows that creative industry does not highlight some important aspects such as knowledge sharing, absorptive capacity, and ambidexterity. The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between knowledge sharing, absorptive capacity, ambidexterity, innovation capability and company's quality performance. This study uses mixed methods with the results of empirical study through the distribution of questionnaires to 150 business people in the creative industry and combined by interview result of creative industry entrepreneurs. The result shows that knowledge sharing had a positive and significant relationship with absorptive capacity and ambidexterity. While ambidexterity and absorptive capacity had positive and significant relationships with innovation capability and innovation capability had a positive and significant relationship with the company's quality performance. The results of this study are expected to help business people in the creative industry improve their quality performance through increased knowledge sharing, absorptive capacity, ambidexterity, and innovation capability.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between buzz and viral marketing strategy on supply chain performance and visit interest of restaurants in Banten Indonesia. This type of research used explanatory with a quantitative approach using SEM-based variance analysis, this is because the dependent and independent variables in this study amounted to more than one so that they could use variance-based SEM to summarize the formulation of the analysis. The study was conducted on 120 restaurant owner respondents in the province. Banten Indonesia. The distribution of the questionnaire in this study was carried out in two stages, namely the distribution of online questionnaires via google form to restaurant owner consumers. The sampling technique used in this study is accidental sampling, namely the determination of the sample based on accidental samples. The results of this study are buzz marketing has a significant effect on supply chain performance, buzz marketing has a significant effect on visit interest, viral marketing has a significant effect on supply chain performance, viral marketing has a significant effect on visit interest, visit interest has a significant effect on supply chain performance.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of supply chain management on competitiveness, the positive effect of supply chain management on performance and the positive influence of competitiveness on performance in restaurants in the province of Banten Indonesia. The research method uses a hypothesis testing model, the respondents of this research are tourists who want to travel to a tourist attraction in Banten Province. Data collection is done online, using the Google Form website. Researchers distributed questionnaires to tourists using social media who had visited Banten province. This study uses a convenience sampling technique, where the sample members are respondents who are easy to find, and the convenience makes data collection more effective and efficient since it saves time and costs. The sample in this study was 290 tourists who had visited Banten Province. The technique of collecting data in this study used an online questionnaire, data analysis using structural equation modeling (SEM) by applying SmartPLS 3.0 software. Based on the results of data analysis, the results show there is a significant relationship between supply chain management and competitiveness, a significant relationship exists between supply chain management and restaurant performance and finally, competitiveness influences positively the restaurant performance.

This study aims to analyze the contribution of Green Manufacturing and Green Distribution on improving the performance of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) through Reverse Logistics. The development of industry and increasing consumer concern for the environment as well as issues regarding the concept of an environmentally sound industry have forced industries to adjust in line with the GSCM concept. To make the program a success, Green Manufacturing, Green Distribution, and Reverse Logistics are assumed to be supporting the implementation process. This study uses quantitative methods, with the number of samples taken randomly as many as 70 people. The analysis was carried out using the Path Analysis method. Hypothesis testing was carried out in two stages, namely Structural Model-1 and Structural Model-2 testing to obtain each path coefficient number. The results of the study conclude that there is the contribution of Green Manufacturing, Green Distribution, and Reverse Logistics on the success of GSM implementation so that companies must always pay attention to the facilities and related policies to improve the performance of those variables.

This study aims to determine the effect of supply chain visibility on business performance, to determine the effect of supply chain flexibility on business performance and to determine the effect of supplier development on business performance. The sample of respondents in this study were 120 respondents from logistics companies in Tangerang. Type of research is quantitative research. The data analysis technique used structural equation modeling and SmartPLS for analyzing data. The data collection method in this study was carried out using a survey method, namely by distributing online questionnaires to respondents in the form of questions. The data collection method in this study was an online questionnaire by google form. The sample selection method in this study is simple random sampling. The results of the analysis that have been carried out concluded that Inventory Control, Supply Chain Flexibility, Supply Chain Visibility, Supplier Development had positive and significant influence on business performance.

Small businesses in the food and beverage sector are currently experiencing rapid development, including in Indonesia. Although more and more studies on small businesses occur, but the key factors for companies to survive in a certain period of time – during the last three and a half years in this study, still need to be ex-plored. Especially in Indonesia, small businesses as part of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are able to contribute 60.34% of national Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This research method belongs to the type of explanatory research. Determination of the first level sample uses purposive sampling, namely small businesses engaged in food and beverages, at least 3.5 years old. Based on the analysis it was concluded that the Service Innovation and Product variables had a positive effect on Operational Improvement, Service Innovation and Products had a positive effect on Survival SMEs, Operational Improvement had a positive effect on Survival, Financial Performance had a positive effect on Operational Improvement and Financial Performance had effect on Survival.

This research was conducted on SMEs in Indonesia, by prioritizing the local wisdom of the Indonesian nation as a tropical, agrarian country, with SMEs owners who process fruits and vegetables into snacks as respondents. The study involved 243 respondents, to determine the partial and simultaneous influence of human resource competences and supply chain management on financial performance. The reason for doing this research is because some of the research that has been done by previous researchers still discusses this on corporate and not on SMEs. However, market conditions have changed. SMEs need to be managed professionally, by minimizing expenses to maximize revenue, taking into account risk, resource capabilities, in flexible ways as well as low-cost. The results showed that there was a significant influence on the financial performance of SMEs with the presence of human resource competences and supply chain management either partially or simultaneously.
