The aim of this article is to study the impact of marketing innovation and the visual and verbal ele-ments of packaging on customers purchase intentions. After a brief literature review, an empirical study is conducted among 140 customers of Coca-Cola brand in Tlemcen city. To this end, a model of intention has been developed to be tested by structural equations modeling. The results of this study showed that marketing innovation and the visual and verbal elements of packaging directly affect the purchase intentions of the customers of this brand.

In this paper, experimental and numerical studies are performed to determine the maximum deflection and strength of cylindrical shells. The considered models are subjected to concentrated loads applied progressively until plastic failure of the structures. In order to determine the effect of the geometrical parameters, several models with different thicknesses, lengths, and radius are considered and analysed with various boundary conditions. The numerical analysis is carried out by the finite element method using ABAQUS code. The main objective of the present investigation is to determine the maximum strength that caused damage of the models. The results of the experimental and numerical analysis are recorded, discussed and commented on. It is observed that the thickness, length,and radius dimensions with boundary conditions have great effect on the strength load values that create damage.

In order to study the behaviour of a notch specimen under plane mixed mode I +II, a Brazilian disc specimen weakened by U-notch located at the edge of disc is considered. A high-strength steel material was used for the disc specimen subjected to diametral compressive loading. A local approach represented by strain energy density approach based on determination of mean value of the strain energy density (that is over a given finite-size volume surrounding the highly stressed regions near the notch tip) was utilized. A finite element analysis by cast3m code have been undertaken in order to determine the evolution of the stress intensity factors and averaged strain energy density for different location of notch from the axis of force application. Variations of radius and angle of notch will cause disturbance in the stress field and local energy in the vicinity of the notch tip. The results of finite element computations were expressed as mathematical relations showing the influence of notch position and its radius on stress intensity factors and averaged strain energy density. The reduction of the angle increases the local energy unlike the increase of the radius tends to reduce it.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of factors such as cutting speed, feed rate, and depth of cut on surface roughness and Material Removed Rate (MRR) when machining in dry face milling AISI 1040 steel with coated carbide inserts GC1030 using the response surface methodology (RSM). For this purpose, a number of machining experiments based on statistical three-factor and three-level factorial experiment designs, completed (L27) with a statistical analysis of variance (ANOVA), were performed in order to develop mathematical models and to identify the significant factors of these technological parameters. Multi-objective optimization procedure for minimizing Ra, Ry and Rz and maximizing MRR using desirability approach has been also implementented. The current study was also carried out to investigate the tool life of the inserts. The models found the relationship between the cutting parameters (Vc, fz and ap) and the studied technological parameters. It has been found that the cutting speed was the most affecting surface roughness which is due to the geometry of the insert which has a scraping edge and enables to obtain low roughness even at important feed rate, followed by the feed rate and the depth of cut at the end. The optimal combination of cutting parameters were cutting speed of 314 m/min, feed rate of 0.16 mm/tooth and depth of cut of 0.6 mm with a composite desirability of 0.924.

Inconel 718 is among difficult to machine materials because of its abrasiveness and high strength even at high temperature. This alloy is mainly used in aircraft and aerospace industries. Therefore, it is very important to reveal and evaluate cutting tools behavior during machining of this kind of alloy. The experimental study presented in this research work has been carried out in order to elucidate surface roughness and productivity mathematical models during turning of Inconel 718 superalloy (35 HRC) with SiC Whisker ceramic tool at various cutting parameters (depth of cut, feed rate, cutting speed and radius nose). A small central composite design (SCCD) including 16 basics runs replicated three times (48 runs), was adopted and graphically evaluated using Fraction of design space (FDS) graph, completed by a statistical analysis of variance (ANOVA). Mathematical models for surface roughness and productivity were developed and normality was improved using the Box-Cox transformation. Results show that surface roughness criterion Ra was mainly influenced by cutting speed, radius nose and feed rate, and that the depth of cut had major effect on productivity. Finally, ranges of optimized cutting conditions were proposed for serial industrial production. Industrial benefit was illustrated in terms of high surface quality accompanied with high productivity. Indeed, results show that the use of optimal cutting condition had an industrial benefit to 46.9 % as an improvement in surface quality Ra and 160.54 % in productivity MRR.

The study of structures in engineering solid mechanics is very often requires the modeling of complexes structures composed of two parts of thin and thick structure elements. As examples is associated with the case of stiffener under a dome and the cooling tower of the nuclear power which is supported on massive supports. In the numerical analysis, this imposes the connection between two different types of finite elements, two dimensional element for thin structures and three-dimensional elements for solid structures. Knowing that solid finite elements contain only translational degrees of freedom, whereas the finite elements of thin shells includes nodal variables of rotations, and then the number of degrees of freedom are not compatible in the junction zone between these two types of structures. This obviously causes great difficulty in solving the problem numerically. The objective of this work is to present the development of a shell finite element with no degree of freedom of rotation that can be used for the modeling of these two different types of structures and can then easily solve the shell-solid junction problem. Validation tests of the developed element are presented and the results obtained are very encouraging.

As the workforce worldwide goes through a transformative shift towards remote work, this paper discusses the positive effects of this quite flexible work arrangement on team’s innovation performance (TIP) in multinational, non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Adopting cross-sectional, quantitative research design, empirical data were collected through a survey of 268 employees of multinational NGOs operating in Jordan. The collected data were, then, analyzed using structural equation modeling. The results of the analysis showed that remote work has significant, positive effects on TIP in NGOs. Of the various remote work features investigated, spatial flexibility has the highest effect. The study results contribute to the ongoing discourse on the future of the work styles and have implications for leaders, policymakers, and practitioners who seek promoting innovation in multinational NGOs.

This study seeks to investigate the variables that affect small and medium enterprises (SMEs) adoption of the usage of artificial intelligence (AI) and audit quality analysis from the perspectives of external auditors and accountants in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Additionally, it seeks to determine whether external auditors and accountants in Saudi SMEs have different perspectives on AI adoption and how it affects audit quality. Data were gathered via an internet questionnaire from eighty accountants and forty audit companies in Saudi SMEs to accomplish these research goals. The study's findings indicate that accountants and external auditors in the KSA believe that utilizing AI improves the quality of audits. Also, it was discovered that there is no statistically significant difference in how accountants and auditors evaluate ’AI’s contribution to audit quality.

Recently, there has been tremendous interest worldwide in the possibility of using chaos in communication systems. Many different chaos-based secure communication schemes have been proposed up until now. However, systems with strong chaoticity are more suitable for chaos-based secure communication. From the viewpoint of Lyapunov exponents, a chaotic system with a larger positive Lyapunov exponent is said to be more complex. This paper constructing a multistable chaotic system that can produce coexisting attractors is an attractive field of research due to its theoretical and practical usefulness. An innovative 3D dynamical system is presented in this research. It can display various coexisting attractors for the same values of parameters. The new system is more suitable for chaos-based applications than recently reported systems since it exhibits strong multistable chaotic behavior, as proved by its large positive Lyapunov exponent. Furthermore, the accuracy of the numerical calculation and the system's physical implementations are confirmed by analog circuit simulation. Finally, implementing the proposed voice encryption is done using a four-wing chaotic system based on the PRNG.

To get ready for the hard international competition, firms have to convince themselves of the pressing necessity of optimizing its competitiveness factors. In this perspective, this article proposes a general model of management system of firms through the implementation of tools of Lean Manu-facturing. This method establishes an approach to introduce an action plan to improve the perfor-mance of a firm. Knowing that the Algerian firms do not escape the constraints of competitiveness, the adopted model is applied to two strategic firms of the Algerian industry and the final result gives a series of measures to improve their competitiveness and their performances, simultaneously.
