Abstract:
This study seeks to examine the various attributes that impact health and safety in construction (HSIC) across different companies, stakeholders, and nations. The objective is to identify these attributes and organize them within a framework to facilitate a clearer understanding. The research identified common characteristics that promote the adoption of HSIC, yielding advantages for governmental, private, and public entities. The United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, and Hong Kong are considered the leading countries in terms of conducting research on HSIC attributes. There exists significant potential for enhancing the contributions of developing countries. The proposed framework acknowledges a comprehensive set of 61 attributes, which are categorized into four distinct groups: Corporate regulatory, Employee's self-supportive, Workplace regulatory, and Federal regulatory attributes. These attributes function as a framework for clients and policymakers to enhance the quality of HSIC. In forthcoming periods, it is recommended to prioritize the utilization of empirical surveys conducted across diverse locations in order to ascertain the attributes that are deemed of utmost importance and necessitate significant attention.

Abstract:
This study investigates the influence of Management Accounting Practices (MAPs) on Project Cost Control (PCC) within the context of the Saudi construction industry, a sector pivotal to the nation's economic diversification under Saudi Vision 2030. Employing a purposive sampling technique, data were collected from 222 industry professionals and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that budgetary control exerts the strongest positive effect on PCC, underscoring its foundational role in cost containment. Additionally, cost monitoring and reporting, cost variance analysis, and the effective utilization of accounting information emerged as significant positive predictors of PCC success. Collectively, these MAPs are instrumental in achieving robust project cost control. The results hold important implications for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to industry, innovation, and infrastructure, by offering actionable insights for policymakers. Mandating robust budgetary control frameworks and integrated accounting systems can significantly reduce resource waste, enhance project efficiency, and contribute to the sustainable development of national infrastructure projects, thereby aligning with the long-term objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Abstract:
The objective of this paper was to identify aspects of pricing strategy that impact customer experience within the construction industries. A literature review examined the antecedents driving customer satisfaction. A conceptual framework relating two dimensions namely, pricing strategy and customer experience was developed to evaluate customer satisfaction. Several latent variables related to the marketing mix and customer experience were introduced. Latent variables were measured through a 5-point Likert Scale questionnaire and analyzed by Structural Equation Modelling. Three aspects of pricing strategy and four aspects of customer experience were identified as parameters pertinent to customer satisfaction. Findings showed that price value, price advantage and price penetration influenced pricing strategy. Reputation, confidence, information and expertise influenced customer experience. This paper contributes to understanding the significance of pricing strategy and customer experience as the foundation for customer satisfaction and business profitability. These findings were presented as recommendations to the construction industry.

Abstract:
This research was conducted to test the model of strategic human resource management as a competitive advantage in the construction industry specially to identify factors related to achieving competitive advantage in this industry. The empirical data were drawn from 174 construction companies in Indonesia using questionnaire method. Structural Equation Modeling techniques was used to analyze the conceptualized relationship model. The empirical results reveal that competitive advantage in the construction industry in Indonesia could be achieved through human resource management practices to build and improve a safety culture which would increase employee productivity. Companies must integrate human resource management practices with safety culture as a priority strategy of the company since based on empirical result, safety culture can be a source of competitive advantage for construction companies in Indonesia. Future studies can use these strategic human resource management models in different industry sectors by adding a number of samples so that the results could be generalized.

Abstract:
This research examines how artificial intelligence (AI) integration has affected employment in Chinaโ€™s construction industry. This research builds on the theories of skill-biased technological change and creative destruction to study how AI influences both positive and negative employment effects that later influence overall employment. The report confirms, based on the survey data and by using PLS-SEM, that AI introduction results in both job growth and job losses for managerial-level employees. In addition, whether an organization is ready greatly affects how these relationships play out, improving good outcomes and reducing the bad ones. It is clear from the findings that preparing a strategy helps make the most of AI and alleviate its risks. The study contributes to a more detailed view of AIโ€™s effects on jobs and supplies ideas for sustaining both innovation and employment.

Abstract:
There are huge amounts of emissions associated with construction industry during its different stages from cradle till building demolition. This study presents a methodology that integrates multi-objective optimization and multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) in order to enable construction decision-makers to select the most sustainable construction alternatives. Four objectives functions are investigated, which are: construction time, lifecycle cost, environmental impact and primary energy in order to construct the Pareto front. A novel hybrid MCDM is designed based on seven multi-criteria decision making techniques to select the best solution among the set of the Pareto optimal solutions. Sensitivity analysis is performed in order to determine the most sensitive attribute and construction stages that influence environmental emissions. The analysis illustrates that WSM, COPRAS and TOPSIS provided the best rankings of the alternatives, primary energy is the most sensitive attribute for different MCDM methods. Moreover, PROMETHEE II is the most robust MCDM method.

Abstract:
The objective of this research was to evaluate the impact of the product element and logistics service quality on the customer experience within construction industries. A questionnaire was developed for data collection based on the gap analysis identified in the literature review. The questionnaire was administered face-to-face to customers associated with the construction industry. A structural model was created and the data were analysed by Structural Equation Modelling using IBM SPSS-AMOS Statistics for Windows version 21. Two aspects of product specialization and four aspects of customer experience were identified as key constructs for customer satisfaction. Product specialization was dependent on product marketing and product attributes. Customer experience was dependent on reputation, confidence, information and expertise. The analysis showed that product specialization and customer experience were major contributors to customer satisfaction. Recommendations using these findings were made for participating construction companies to restructure their business strategies to offer better services vital to customer satisfaction and better business.

Abstract:
Organizing function is the significant component of management guaranteeing the success of construction works. Many studies have been emphasizing on the topic of critical success factors (CSFs) within construction works, yet the results have rarely emphasized examining organizing behaviors within public construction work management; these less researched topics were the aims of this study. To fulfil this research aim, a regression analysis design was employed. Data were collected using questionnaires conducted from 139 professionals involved in public construction works management in Vietnam. The structural equation modelling (SEM) technique with partial least-squares estimation (PLS) was utilized to analyze the data. The results revealed 6 behavioral dimensions (i.e., structure organizing (OR1), authorization organizing (OR2), coordination organizing (OR4), human resource organizing (OR3), job organizing (OR5), responsibility organizing (OR6) to assess organizing function in terms of public construction work management. The study also reveals that structure organizing (OR1), authorization organizing (OR2), coordination organizing (OR4) have significant effects on management effectiveness (ME). In addition, coordination organizing (OR4) acts as the mediator of Human resource organizing (OR3), job organizing (OR5); while responsibility organizing (OR6) indicates an indirect influence through the mediator of OR5. The success of this approach is expected to reinforce the contribution of organizing function and suggest a useful tool for supporting the professionals in enhancing public construction work management.

Abstract:
The construction industry is acknowledged as one of the major primary energy consumers and contributors to global environmental emissions. To this end, proper selection of building materials is imperative to maintain the sustainability of a built environment. This research study proposed a building information modeling-based framework for lifecycle assessment of building materials in Saudi Arabia. Both Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Quantity Takeoff were adopted to define building materials, components, and their quantities. In addition, Athena Impact Estimator and Ecotectยฎ Analysis software were leveraged to conduct thorough environmental impact assessment and energy simulation of building materials. The conducted lifecycle impact assessment tackled project phases of site preparation, construction, use, and demolition. The environmental dimensions of energy consumption, global warming, air emissions, land emissions, and water emissions were also explored. The capabilities of the developed model were tested using a case study of a college building in Saudi Arabia. The findings from this study can assist in the selection of environmentally friendly building materials that can be employed in Saudi Arabiaโ€™s construction market.

Abstract:
In project management literature, the concept of program is a group of related projects managed in a coordinated way to obtain benefits not available from managing them individually. This paper attempts to identify program critical success factors focusing on Iranโ€™s construction industry so that the level of relative importance of various factors could be determined for key stakeholders. Furthermore, since a program includes a set of projects, another objective of this study is to find out whether the projects of program are accomplished, successfully or not. Therefore, to run this study, first literature of topic based on research keywords is reviewed. Then a conceptual model including all the aspects of program success factors is presented. Next, critical success factors are quantitatively analyzed by performing an empirical investigation on active organizations and firms of Iranโ€™s construction industry. The study employs questionnaire and performs interview surveys with construction program professionals and experts. Finally, the critical success factors of program are sorted according to their ranks. The results show that program-related factors maintain the highest effects on program success followed by organization-related and project-related issues.
