DOI: 10.5267/j.jpm.2022.11.002

Keywords: Structural Equation Modeling, Regional Development Programs, Critical success factors

Abstract:
The Structural Equation Modeling SEM using SmartPLS.V3 software was used in this study to model the priority of CSFs of program management under four categories (program planning, strategy of the organization, stakeholders, and construction program performance) associated with Regional Development Programs RDPs in Iraqi provinces. Based on the literature review, the identified CSFs of program management have been explored through a systematic review approach. This model investigated the relationship and effect of CSFs on program management of regional development. The measurement model underwent three iterations to fulfil the threshold criterion, which included Cronbach's a being more than 0.7, CR being greater than 0.7, and AVE being more significant than 0.5. As a result, the model met the convergent validity. For every path modelling and hypothesis, the structural model is evaluated. The model produced a GoF of (0.524), regarded as sufficiently high to be considered for obtaining adequate global PLS model validity. The model's global GoF performance was also assessed, and the findings met the criteria. It is clear from the final model that there may be a connection between the main program management groups, as shown by the path model confirmed.

Keywords: New Product Development, Morphological Analysis, Critical Success Factors

Abstract:
New product development is a modern approach to deal with the environmental changes and an introduction to enter the competitive atmosphere is a challenging condition. By realizing the critical aspects of success of the new product and selecting a compatible model of variables in these aspects, companies may create a unique context for developing the product; but whether in terms of the multiplicity of the decision-making choices or the inherent conflicts of the response atmosphere’s variables, the complexities of the current world have caused disruption and inefficiency in the field of optimal selection and decision making. The aim of this study is to identify the critical aspects of development of the new product in the Sedan automobile class and to offer a morphological model of that by investigating the ideas and comments of the experts and scholars. In this regard, by using the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method, the proposed method assesses the mode of the organization; and with the General Morphological Analysis, it assesses and searches for the most compatible decision-making variables to find the fully optimal and compatible solutions. After studying the subject literature, seven critical aspects are selected for the product development and three purposes are chosen for limiting the morphological model. Finally, four fully compatible configurations and one configuration are proposed with the entrance of the aspects determined from the output of IPA method. The innovative solution in solving the morphological model and its integration with IPA method are considered as the innovations of this study.

Keywords: Social commerce, Critical success factors, Intention to purchase, Social cognitive theory

Abstract:
The unprecedented growth of social media imposed fierce competition on business companies. That is investors found new methods to expand their business activities, and, in turn, boost their revenues. While there has been a plethora of research done to examine the critical success factors of social commerce (s-commerce) in developed countries, there is a dearth of studies conducted in developing countries. Meanwhile, it has been evident that the significance of these factors may vary across cultures. Therefore, this study, following the social cognitive theory, aims to explore the critical success factors of s-commerce from the perspective of consumers in a developing country. To achieve that, this study utilized a questionnaire that sought information related to factors driving consumers' intention to purchase in s-commerce. Seven hundred and fifty-seven subjects completed the survey. Structural equation modeling techniques were utilized to analyze the data. The findings of this study show that trust in sellers, sociability, electronic Word-Of-Mouth (eWOM), perceived economic benefit, and informational fit-to-task positively influence the intention to purchase in s-commerce. In addition to that, it was found that sociability and eWOM positively influence consumers' trust in sellers. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the theoretical and practical areas of s-commerce. They are expected to make a significant contribution to the literature on s-commerce adoption from the perspective of a developing country. From a practical point of view, the results of this study should help stakeholders in s-commerce in developing business strategies to better their competitive advantage, retain existing consumers and attract new ones, and, in turn, increase sales and profits.

Keywords: Construction industry, Critical Success Factors, Program

Abstract:
In project management literature, the concept of program is a group of related projects managed in a coordinated way to obtain benefits not available from managing them individually. This paper attempts to identify program critical success factors focusing on Iran’s construction industry so that the level of relative importance of various factors could be determined for key stakeholders. Furthermore, since a program includes a set of projects, another objective of this study is to find out whether the projects of program are accomplished, successfully or not. Therefore, to run this study, first literature of topic based on research keywords is reviewed. Then a conceptual model including all the aspects of program success factors is presented. Next, critical success factors are quantitatively analyzed by performing an empirical investigation on active organizations and firms of Iran’s construction industry. The study employs questionnaire and performs interview surveys with construction program professionals and experts. Finally, the critical success factors of program are sorted according to their ranks. The results show that program-related factors maintain the highest effects on program success followed by organization-related and project-related issues.
