Application of cooling slope in casting is a relatively simple process with low equipment and processing costs, which is able to produce semi-solid slurries with different parameters such as pouring temperature, length and angle of slope plate, and plate type. In this study, the effect of angle and length of copper made slope plate on the microstructure of A360-Aluminum alloy is investigated. Microstructure study of metallographic samples in different conditions revealed that for 400mm slope length and 60° slope angle the optimum sphierized and homogenized microstructure is achieved. Also, under these conditions, the most hardness (77HB) was obtained, which might be because of suitable solidification conditions namely time and rate of shear stress. After finding the suitable conditions of slope length and angle, the effect of the circulation cooling system was examined; and the method with cooling system was found to result in more homogenized microstructure compared to ordinary method.

The frequently discussed topic of job satisfaction is not new in the field of organizational behavior research. Job satisfaction is related to customer satisfaction; however, there is a scarcity of empirical evidence regarding this link. The current piece of research examines the said relationship in the context of the online call center. In addition, this study investigates the effect of human resources (HR) practices on job satisfaction within the online call center context. The sample of the study consists of 275 employees who were working as an online call center. SMARTPLS 3 was used to analyze the data. The findings of the study indicated a positive relationship between HR practices with job satisfaction. Furthermore, a positive impact of job satisfaction on customer satisfaction is observed. The mediation of customer interaction quality is also found to be significant in the relationship between job satisfaction and customer satisfaction.

Since strategy planning describes organization strategy and helps people understand it, it has a significant role in strategic management by drawing cause-and-effect relations; this plan provides the management more power to correct administrating of strategies. In this paper, Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) approach is used to produce a strategic planning for tile and ceramic industry. In the method introduced in this paper, after identifying the key measure of function assessment in case study of tile and ceramic by using ISM stages, cause-and-effect relations among the measures have been identified and finally the diagraph which is the strategic plans in four dimensions (BSC) has been drawn.

Sustainability is getting preference now-a-days in most of the countries in the world. This implies industrial and other developments for economic growth, and of course civilization, but certainly not at the cost of environmental degradation. Environmental conservation is a must. One of the major components of industrial sectors is their electrical energy inputs through electrical substation. Numerous research addresses the issue of energy pollution, cantering on fossil fuel. A very few research can be found which address the issue of pollution generated from electrical energy. This research addresses this issue, with special attention to electrical substations. In the last two or three decades, several electrical equipment manufacturers have started producing this equipment in Bangladesh, which were previously import-oriented. This equipment use various types of oils, acids, zinc and other metals, which are all environmentally hazardous. Thus, any industrial company, buying such equipment from substation manufacturers, should consider green aspects. As such, now it is of prime importance to select green suppliers of substation equipment. Since selection of right or green supplier involves multi-criteria evaluation, Multi-criteria Decision Making (MCDM) technique is essential. Additionally, both qualitative and quantitative criteria require fuzzy analysis to make it more precise and realistic. This research addressed the issue of environmental pollution, its sources, nature and severity, and their mitigation through selecting green suppliers.

The present problem deals with the thermo-elastic interaction of a gold nano-beam resonator induced by ramp-type heating under the two temperature theory of generalized thermoelasticity. The governing equations are constructed in the context of two-temperature three-phase-lag model (2T3P) and two-temperature Lord-Shulman (2TLS) model of generalized thermoelasticity. Using the Laplace transform, the fundamental equations have been expressed in the form of a vector-matrix differential equation which is then solved by Eigen value approach and Mathematica software package has been used as a tool. The inversion of Laplace transforms are computed numerically using the method of Fourier series expansion technique. Numerical results for lateral vibration, temperature, displacement, stress, and the strain energy are presented graphically for Lord-Shulman model and also for three-phase lag model. A numerical instance of gold nano-beam in femtoseconds scale has been calculated to present the effect of the ramping time parameter on the entire studied field. The effect of two-temperature parameter is also discussed on the physical fields.

The volume of rural road construction projects has increased over the last decade in Bangladesh though these projects are experiencing failure in terms of time for completion. Therefore, this study focuses on nine risk factors specifically in case of Bangladesh. The objectives are to examine and quantify the contribution of supply chain risk factors on completion time of rural road projects and to assess the prioritization of iden-tified risks. An insignificant number of researches have been performed on the effect of supply chain risks on completion time of rural roads in Bangladesh. To the best of authors’ knowledge, the three factors such as, upper contract price, prolong rainy season and time of monitoring have not yet been used as independent variables in any re-search. A linear model has been drawn and the proposed model shows that upper contract price, delay of the site handover, delay of site materials mobilization, change of scope and prolong rainy season cause time overrun, whereas, time of monitoring, delay in payment and delay in submission of contract schedule did not have significant effect on time. These findings will help the government of Bangladesh take the necessary actions to complete the projects on time.

In facing business competition in the cement industry, PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk is making creative and innovative breakthroughs. Poor procurement planning, competence in the procurement of goods and services, hard skills and soft skills, ineffective coordination between divisions, low culture and work discipline, as well as ineffective education and training are the main causes of the ineffective implementation of the e-Procurement system in the company. Employee performance in the e-procurement division is a concern in this study. This study aims to determine the influence of competence, education, training, and employee placement partially and simultaneously on employee performance at PT. Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk. This study uses a quantitative approach with a confirmative survey method that is descriptive and uses verification. The population and sample of this study is all employees in e-procurement division, as it uses a census sampling technique, amounting to 105 respondents. The data is gathered using questionnaire, documentation, and observation method. Furthermore, the data is then processed using SPSS 24 application. The results of this study show that employee competence, education, training, and employee placement had positive effects on employee performance. The strategy to improve employee performance will be effective by first providing technical training to improve competence in the e-Procurement division, then rearranging the placement by paying more attention to the suitability of individual competencies, expertise, and abilities in carrying out the e-Procurement Standard Operating Procedure.

Facile conversion of structurally different epoxides to the corresponding B-chlorohydrins was carried out successfully with anhydrous ZnCl2 in CH3CN. The reactions were carried out within 10-50 min to give B-chlorohydrins with perfect regioselectivity and high yields (80-97%).

Preparing well educated accounting students for future, involve teaching using high techniques, will benefit all public and private organizations. Accounting educators and practitioners are pressured by the industries, globalization and the professions to generate graduates with accountancy skills that meet the changing needs. In this survey, a questionnaire was conducted and distributed randomly to ascertain the views of accounting academics and practitioners on the contents of governmental accounting courses and the personal skills and competencies of recent graduates. The results show that practitioners placed an emphasis on traditional accounting techniques, while academics placed an emphasis on contemporary techniques. Both groups were in agreement on some skills and characteristics required of recent graduates. The main finding is the existence of a real gap between education and practice of governmental accounting. The implications of the results are that academics cannot ignore the teaching of traditional governmental accounting techniques and may need to increase the coverage of the issues involved in implementing contemporary governmental accounting techniques.

The safety of civil aviation will be more secured if the errors in all the facets can be reduced. Like the other industrial sectors, human resource is one of the most complex and sensitive resources for the civil aviation. The error of human resources can cause fatal disasters. In these days, a good volume of researches have been conducted on the disaster of civil aviation. The researchers have identified the causes of the civil aviation disasters from various perspectives. They identified the areas where more concern is needed to reduce the disastrous impacts. This paper aims to find out the critical factors of human error in civil aviation in a developing country (Bangladesh) as it is accepted that human error is one of main causes of civil aviation disasters. The paper reviews the previous research to find out the critical factors conceptually. Fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (FAHP) has been used to find out the critical factors systematically. Analyses indicate that the concentration on precondition for unsafe acts (including sub-factors) is required to ensure the aviation safety.
