The article was conducted on 529 textile enterprises in the Vietnam Textile and Garment Business Directory 2018 with the aim of assessing the impact of global supply chain management practices on competitive advantage and operational efficiency. After using PLS - SEM analysis techniques on Smart PLS 3.0, the results show that the global supply chain management practices of Vietnam's textile and garment industry had a positive impact on the performance of Vietnam textile and garment enterprises. In addition, competitive advantages such as Customer Loyalty, Employee Satisfaction and Corporate Reputation had no intermediary role in the relationship between global supply chain management and operational efficiency in Vietnamese textile enterprises.

In the real world of engineering problems, in order to reduce optimization costs in physical processes, running simulation experiments in the format of computer codes have been conducted. It is desired to improve the validity of simulation-optimization results by attending the source of variability in the model’s output(s). Uncertainty can increase complexity and computational costs in Designing and Analyzing of Computer Experiments (DACE). In this state of the art review paper, a systematic qualitative and quantitative review is implemented among Metamodel Based Robust Simulation Optimization (MBRSO) for black-box and expensive simulation models under uncertainty. This context is focused on the management of uncertainty, particularly based on the Taguchi worldview on robust design and robust optimization methods in the class of dual response methodology when simulation optimization can be handled by surrogates. At the end, while both trends and gaps in the research field are highlighted, some suggestions for future research are directed.

The shift in the business paradigm towards a more sustainable one has placed a balance between people, profit and the planet as a corporate culture. However, based on previous empirical studies, very few companies have put sustainability as the soul of their business, especially in the types of industries that are not obliged to report their social responsibility activities. This study aims to compare the quality of the sustainability report based on the GRI G4 indicator for foreign and domestic companies engaged in construction services. The data was taken using a purposive method on construction service companies that published their 2017 sustainability reports and found 30 companies. The quality of the report is compared between the three indicators, namely economic, social and environmental. The results showed that in terms of quality of disclosure, there was no difference between domestic and foreign construction service companies, whether tested per category or tested collectively. The results of this study reinforce the previous finding that companies are still very dependent on the regulatory compliance approach only in implementing sustainability, especially in the construction service industry.

To get ready for the hard international competition, firms have to convince themselves of the pressing necessity of optimizing its competitiveness factors. In this perspective, this article proposes a general model of management system of firms through the implementation of tools of Lean Manu-facturing. This method establishes an approach to introduce an action plan to improve the perfor-mance of a firm. Knowing that the Algerian firms do not escape the constraints of competitiveness, the adopted model is applied to two strategic firms of the Algerian industry and the final result gives a series of measures to improve their competitiveness and their performances, simultaneously.

Perishability of platelets, uncertainty of donors’ arrival and conflicting views in platelet supply chain have made platelet supply chain planning a problematic issue. In this paper, mobile blood collection system for platelet production is investigated. Two mathematical models are presented to cover the bloodmobile collection planning problem. The first model is a multi-objective fuzzy mathematical programming in which the bloodmobiles locations are considered with the aim of maximizing potential amount of blood collection and minimizing the operational cost. The second model is a vehicle routing problem with time windows which studies the shuttles routing problem. To tackle the first model, it is reformulated as a crisp multi objective linear programming model and then solved through a fuzzy multi objective programming approach. Several sensitivity analysis are conducted on important parameters to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed model. The proposed model is then solved by using a tailored Simulated Annealing (SA) algorithm. The numerical results demonstrate promising efficiency of the proposed solution method.

In this research, an investigation was carried out through experimentation and numerical modeling to evaluate the cracking pressure induced due to corrosion of reinforcement for different cover thicknesses, grades of concrete and bar locations. The model was also used to determine the patterns of crack for a different number of bars and the effect of bar diameter on cracking pressure. The critical pressure was measured experimentally by applying hydraulic pressure through a hole in concrete cubes of 150 mm. Abaqus 6.14 was used as a modeling platform. From the experimentation and numerical modeling, it was found that with the increase of cover thickness the critical pressure was increased irrespective of bar locations. A lower cracking pressure was observed for corner bar with respect to the sidebar. On the other hand, with the increase in bar diameter, a decrease in cracking pressure was observed. The critical pressure observed was also increased with higher grades of concrete. For corner bars with cover thickness 37.5 mm, the critical pressure was found as 6-10 MPa and it increased up to 17 MPa for the cover thickness of 64 mm for different grades of concrete. On the other hand, for other bar location with the cover thickness of 37.5 mm and 64 mm, the pressure required to initiate crack was about 7.6 MPa and 14.8 MPa, respectively, for C20 grade concrete.

The proliferation of online violence has given rise to a spate of malignant incidents, necessitating a renewed focus on the identification of cyberbullying comments. Text classification lies at the heart of efforts to tackle this pernicious problem. The identification of cyberbullying comments presents unique challenges that call for innovative solutions. In contrast to traditional text classification tasks, cyberbullying comments are often accompanied by subtle and arbitrary expressions that can confound even the most sophisticated classification networks, resulting in low recognition accuracy and effectiveness. To address this challenge, a novel approach is proposed that leverages the BERT pre-training model for word embedding to retain the hidden semantic information in the text. Building on this foundation, the BiSRU++ model which combines attentional mechanisms is used to further extract contextual features of comments. A multi-task learning framework is employed for joint training of sentiment analysis and cyberbullying detection to improve the model's classification accuracy and generalization ability. The proposed model is no longer entirely reliant on a sensitive word dictionary, and experimental results demonstrate its ability to better understand semantic information compared to traditional models, facilitating the identification of potential online cyberbullying comments.

The implementation of major projects is complicated by the multiplicity of beneficiaries, owners, and all participants in the project as well as the technical overlap between the various engineering, financial and administrative works, while the specific features of the construction activity have a clear influence in shaping the nature of construction projects because the implementation processes were associated with a deep and long-term intervention in the natural environment, where construction is a burden on the environment, both in the construction phase and during the maintenance and liquidation phases: it requires depreciation of a large number of material resources. Through that, this study focused on clarifying the most important concepts of risk management and modern strategies in risk analysis and how to respond to them and monitor projects. The study then presented a questionnaire for the risks facing major projects in Egypt. Through analyzing the results of the questionnaire, a qualitative risk analysis was conducted that can be used to prioritize response to risks, in addition to conducting a Monte Carlo simulation based on theoretical foundations and providing a new process for prioritizing project risks related to sustainability, where the (Primavera Risk Analysis) program was used to clarify the impact of risks on project time and cost. All analyses are based on the theoretical background regarding risk, risk management process, and project life cycle approach in the sustainable construction sector. with the help of this study, it is possible to address ways of mitigating the harmful effects on the environment through the implementation of sustainable management in the planning of future projects and better management of current projects.

This study conducts the theme of The Causes of Financial Distress conditions by samples from Indonesian banking sector registered in the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia within the period of 2015-2019. The title of this study: "Indicators of Financial Distress condition in Banking sector in Indonesia” during the period of 2015-2019" with a multiple correlation approach. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of leverage of Credit Risk, CAR, ROA, and LDR to the Financial Distress conditions. The sample of population in this study are all conventional commercial banks in Indonesia registered in the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia. The number of samples in this study were included 37 commercial banks that their profitabilities were being declined, with a total number 146 observations. The method carried out in determining the sample is “Purposive” sampling. Based on the results of study and data analysis using the panel data method, it shows that capital, credit risk, profitability and liquidity have a positive effect on Financial Distress. The implication of the above conclusion is that it required further research to perform preventive actions to anticipate the measures of financial performance of the Bank, and it is expected to select a larger population of samples and variables that might have not been included in research on banking Financial Distress in Indonesia.

This study aims to investigate the influence of green supply chain management practices on community empowerment and poverty reduction in the region of Indonesia. Primary data collection technique like questionnaire was adopted and a sample of 305 respondents was finally collected. For the better understanding, a structural model was developed for the green supply chain factors and community empowerment. For analyzing the data, descriptive findings, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modelling and finally regression analysis were applied. Through structural equation modelling, it is found that all three factors of green supply chain (eco design, environment friendly approaches, and green manufacturing and distribution) had positive and significant influence on community empowerment in Indonesia. In addition, findings under regression analysis show that for the poverty reduction factors green supply chain can also play significantly when integrated through all three factors. As per the implication, this research is a meaningful contribution in the field of green supply chain management practices, community development and poverty reduction.
