Aged workers were mostly questioned in terms of their work efficiency. However, as time changed and the structure of human resource in the organization also changed, older people became important part of all human resources in the organization. The study, hence, aimed 1) to study the level of work efficiency of aged workers; and 2) to study factors affecting work efficiency of aged workers. The study applied quantitative method using questionnaire as a data collection tool, collecting data from aged governmental officers in Nong Khai province, Thailand. There were 402 completed questionnaires which were taken for analysis. The finding presented that aged workers performed very high level of work efficiency using frequency, mean, and standard deviation techniques to analyze. To find the factors affecting work efficiency, the research applied multiple regression analysis. The finding presented that recognition and respect, fair evaluation, job design, and compensation were factors affecting work efficiency of aged governmental officers.

The performance plays a key role in the long-term survival of the organizations. If the performance of the organization increases, then the organization may lead in the global perspective. There are various factors that could lead to the performance. Among those, the supply chain management practices (SCMP) play an important role to increase the performance. The SCMP factors may also enhance the competitive advantage of the organizations. Furthermore, the manager support may provide insight to manage the SCM activities which could aid enhance firm performance (FP). Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the SCMP and FP with the moderating and mediating effect in the chemical industry of Thailand. The data was collected from the supply chain managers by using a simple random technique. The SEM direct effect shows that SCMA had a significant and positive connection with firm performance FP. In addition, SCMP does not seem to have any significant relationship with the competitive advantage. While competitive advantage has a positive and significant effect on FP. On the other hand, the indirect effect shows that SCMP and FP relationship were partially mediated from the competitive advantage. Moreover, the manager's support did not significantly moderate the SCMP and FP relationship. The current study added literature in the extant literature in the form of empirical findings which could help the researchers explore their studies in future. The study may also provide help to owners as well as to shareholders to know about the importance of the SCMP, competitive advantage and managers' support to increase their FP.

This research aimed to investigate the effect of leader-member exchange and employee motivation on organizational commitment, and the effect of organizational commitment on job performance. The research also examines the moderating effect of generation on the relationship between organizational commitment and job performance. The population of this research is the employees working in private organizations in Thailand. Data collection was performed using a convenient random method. 400 usable questionnaires were used for statistical analysis. The author analyzed Descriptive statistics by SPSS program version 25 while the SmartPLS 3.3.0 program was used to test the research hypotheses in Partial Least Square-Structural Equations Model (PLS-SEM). The finding revealed that leader-member exchange positively affected organizational commitment but employee motivation had no significant effect on organizational commitment. It also found that leader-member exchange had a positive effect on employee motivation. Another key point was organizational commitment significantly influenced on job performance. In addition, the study found the moderating effect of Generation on the relationship between commitment and job performance.

The objective of this research was to investigate the impacts of the perceived service quality on passengers’ satisfaction towards the service quality of the Nakhon Phanom Municipality, Thailand - Thakhek, Lao People's Democratic Republic ferry. The sample group comprised Thai and Lao passengers who used the ferry’s service. A questionnaire was used to collect data from 505 samples who were selected using the simple random sampling method. The collected data was analyzed using the confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), structural equation model-ling (SEM), and partial least squares (PLS) regression with the ADANCO 2.1.1 software. The results showed that the perceived service quality consisted of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, which had the same impact with the passengers’ satisfaction towards the service quality. The most influential factors were the tangibles and responsiveness. Therefore, entrepreneurs should priorities the improvement and development of the ferry’s tangibles. Furthermore, the government sector or relevant agencies should promote the implementation of technology into the development in order to fulfill the passengers’ demand and create an impression that would lead to satisfaction and repurchasing.

This study aimed to investigate factors affecting behavioral intention and use behavior of technologies of Thai people under the COVID-19 circumstances. 390 respondents were participated in our survey as sample size for statistical analysis. The authors utilized PLS-SEM assessment for testing the research hypotheses. Descriptive analysis revealed that Thai people in the quarantine period or work from home had suffered from a moderate to high levels of anxiety or stress. This has made Thai people increasingly use online and mobile technology or programs compared to the past. The study revealed four key factors that had significant and positive effects on the intention of users in using online technology including performance expectancy, effort expectancy, trust, and perceived risk. In addition, it indicated that behavioral intention positively affected the actual use behavior of technologies during quarantine time. The authors expect that policymakers or strategists could be used to manage the use of online and mobile technology for people, especially during the tough time.

This research aimed to analyze the influence of the marketing mix on the demand of Thai and foreign tourists along the Mekong Riverside in Nong Khai and Bueng Kan provinces, Thailand that linked to the Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), in particular the Vientiane Capital and Bolikhamxay province. Questionnaires were used to collect the data from 410 samples selected by convenience sampling. The data were analyzed via structural equation modeling (SEM) with the WarpPLS 6.0 program. The results showed that the marketing mix comprising product, price, promotion, and process affected the demand of tourists. In consequence, the tourism-related units of Thailand and Lao PDR should focus on a touristic marketing strategy by conserving the standard of the tourist attractions, touristic marketing promotion, and an appropriate price. Moreover, the related stakeholders should become aware of providing services to tourists as means to respond to the demand of Thai and foreign tourists.

Perceived value, E-satisfaction, and E-loyalty are widely discussed in the practitioner literate and considered as critical factors for the success of E-commerce. Those constructs still contribute to the significant impacts on cross-border E-commerce, which is a part of E-commerce. However, Cross-border E-commerce, particularly for Sino-Thai Cross-border E-commerce, as an emerging market, does not draw enough attention from scholars. Hence, the lack of theoretical and empirical researches leads to few or limited support or guide for suppliers and governments to tackle this complex issue. The study aims to develop and empirically examine the interrelationships between Perceived Value (FV, PDV, EV & SV), E-satisfaction, and E-loyalty in Sino-Thai cross border e-commerce based on China’s customers. Meanwhile, it at-tempts to manifest the mediation impacts on the associations between Perceived Value (FV, PDV, EV & SV) and E-loyalty through E-satisfaction. The questionnaire lasted over 3 months in 2019 for data collection and was conducted with 381respondents who had shopping experi-ence in the platforms of Sino-Thai Cross-border E-commerce, by using self-administrated questionnaires. Confirmed factor analysis and structural equational model were performed in Amos 24 to test the hypotheses and analyze the collected data. The empirical findings eluci-date that perceived functional value, procedural value, and social value except for emotional value, significantly and positively impact on e-loyalty through e-satisfaction. Moreover, the findings stress that the full mediating effect of e-satisfaction on the relationships between FV, PDV, SV, and E-loyalty as well. In light of this, the findings of this study make an effort on the development of the model based on those 3 constructs in Cross-border E-commerce and offer strategic insights for the entrepreneurs and governments in this field.

With rapid economy development and increasing social competition, the majority of Chinese people living in the city is suffering from daily work and life stress. Due to the inflexible holiday system, Chinese city people prefer visiting a rural destination around the place where they live, which is identified as restorative environment, with the demand of rest and mental replenishment. In order to investigate how perceived rural destination environment qualities influence visitor’s satisfaction, this empirical study conducted a survey on 258 visitors in two rural destinations in Zhejiang province, China. SEM was utilized to analyze the relationship between variables in the proposed conceptual model and bootstrap estimation was conducted to assess the mediation effect of mental recovery between PDRQs and visitors’ satisfaction in rural destinations. The results indicate: Chinese visitors’ perception of compatibility and fascination significantly and directly influence their satisfaction and the perception of compatibility, mentally away and fascination have indirect influence on visitors’ satisfaction with mediation of mental recovery in rural destinations.

The objective of this research was to study the communication factors affecting the tourism services in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nakhon Phanom, and Mukdahan provinces of Thai-land. Purposive sampling was applied, and the sample group comprised 300 accommodation business receptionists and package tour sales staff. A questionnaire was used as a tool to collect the data, and exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were utilized to analyze the collected data. The findings indicated that the EFA extracted two factors; namely the channel and receiver, which consisted of five variables, and the message and sender, which consisted of five variables that affected the tourism services. Additionally, the results of the CFA showed that the model was consistent with the empirical data (APC=0.90; Average R2= 0.80; GoF = 0.75). The message and sender affected the tourism ser-vices the most, followed by the channel and receiver. Therefore, the relevant agencies and business owners should pay attention to the tourism personnel in terms of message and sender by promoting training and learning to construct understanding in the sent message, be responsible as the sender, and apply the appropriate strategies to send or present the message to the tourism personnel.

The aim of this research is to examine the effect of human resource management (HRM) practices on employee engagement, and the moderating roles of gender and marital status. The survey was conducted with a total of 457 frontline employees who are working in the Vi-etnamese banking industry. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was estimated using the SmartPLS 3.0 program to examine the hypotheses. The results indicated that HRM practices and its four key dimensions (Training; Reward and recognition, Employee engagement, and Information sharing) positively impacted employee engagement. Moreover, this study provided an empirical evidence about the moderating roles of gender and marital status. It implied that male frontlines employees heightened the positive relationship between HRM practices and employee engagement, but this positive relationship was weakened by married employees. The finding also suggested that bank managers should develop a suitable HRM practices to reinforce employee engagement.
