This study aims to study the relationship between organizational culture and organizational success in order to offer solutions for improving the performance and increasing the efficiency level of staffs. The statistical community of this research includes 1518 employees in organizations of Khorasan Razavi province. Sample volume is calculated through Morgan’s formula. Stratified sampling is the selected sampling method of this research. The results shows that organizational culture affected the organizational success and increasing of organizational culture could lead to more organizational success. Also it could be applied in components of organizational culture. According to results, there is no significant relationship between stability and integrity culture and organizational success and between adaptability culture and organizational success in Welfare organization. Moreover, analysis indicates that participative culture had more effect on organizational success in comparison with other criteria and one unit change of participative culture leads to 0.365 of unit change in organizational culture. Finally, the study indicated that although mission culture had significant relationship with organizational success solely, but it had negligible role in organizational success in comparison with other components of organizational culture.

This study examined the relationship between personality types and leadership styles in the city & apos; s high school principals. The population of this survey includes all principals of secondary schools in city of Zanjan, Iran. Using a stratified random sampling, 48 principals were surveyed. To assess the reliability of the questionnaire, a pretest was accomplished by distributing 20 questionnaires among the target population and Cronbach alpha has been calculated as 0.79. To analyze the data, descriptive and inferential statistics has been used. The study has confirmed that there was a positive and meaningful relationship between personality and leadership style. In addition, the study has confirmed that there were positive and meaningful relationships between task/relationship-oriented leadership style and principals’ competition/ Impatience and restlessness behavior.

Efficiency is one of the fundamental concepts in any organization including ministry of education of Iran. Teachers and counselors are the main assets of this organization and education plays a key role in achieving the organization & apos; s goals. In-service training is a technique for improving the quality and effectiveness of the advisors. This paper presents a study on the effect of in-service training on advisors’ effectiveness through psychological empowerment. The study uses a questionnaire developed by Spreitzer (1995) [Spreitzer, G. M. (1995). Psychological empowerment in the workplace: Dimensions, measurement, and validation. Academy of management Journal, 38(5), 1442-1465.] to examine the effects of five variables; namely self- efficacy, self-determination, impact, meaningfulness and trust. Using structural equation modeling, the study has determined that all five psychological empowerment components had positive and meaningful effects on in-service training. In addition, in-service training maintained positive and meaningful impacts on all components on psychological empowerment. Moreover, in-service training positively influenced on psychological empowerment.

This paper presents an empirical investigation on user’s satisfaction based on the expectation disconfirmation paradigm theory. The study selects a sample of 332 people from 2449 graduate students who were enrolled at the Birjand University. The study uses a questionnaire developed by Isac and Rusu (2014) [Isac, F. L., & Rusu, S. (2014). Theories of user’s satisfaction and the operationalization of the expectation disconfirmation paradigm. Economic series, university of Targu, 2 (1), 82-88.]. Using path analysis, the study has determined that perceived usefulness and personal experience had the highest impact on users’ satisfaction in electronic library usage. In addition, there was a negative relationship between user interface and users’ satisfaction.

A convenient, highly efficient and time economic method has been described for the chemo- and regioselective synthesis of 5-aryloyl-1,3,7,9-tetraalkyl-2,8-dithioxo-2,3,8,9-tetrahydro-1H-pyrano[2,3-d:6,5-dˊ]dipyrimidine-4,6(5H,7H)-diones derivatives by one-pot two-component reaction of 1,3-diethyl-2-thiobarbituric acid or 1,3-dimethyl-2-thiobarbituric acid with substituted arylglyoxalmonohydrates using commercially available zirconium (IV) oxydichloride octahydrate (ZrOCl2.8H2O) as green Lewis acid catalyst. This method is associated with some attractive characteristics such as good selectivity, very short reaction time, high yield of products, cleaner reaction profile, no harmful by-product, cheap and environmental benign catalyst, simple experimental and work-up procedure. This procedure does not require solvent separation and purification steps such as column chromatography.

A four-component reaction of phenylhydrazines, ethyl acetoacetate, aldehydes and β-naphthol has been achieved in the presence of FeCl3/SiO2 nanoparticles as a highly effective heterogeneous catalyst to produce 2-aryl-5-methyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-3-pyrazolones in good to excellent yields, short reaction times, mild reaction conditions and the employment of a cost-effective catalyst.

Pirochromite (MgCr2O4) nanoparticles were successfully prepared in this study. During synthesis of the pirochromite nanoparticles, a sol-gel was prepared by using magnesium acetate and potassium dichromate as magnesium and chromium sources and by using stearic acid as the network. Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscope (TEM), scanning electron microscope (SEM), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) were used for the elemental analysis, and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS) and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) were used in order to identify, provide a fuzzy diagnosis, and determine the size and morphology of the particles, as well as to analyze the optical and magnetic properties of the particles. The particle size of MgCr2O4 nanoparticles was observed to fall within a range of 39 nm–71 nm.

Underground gas pipelines are one of the vital parts of each country which surface blasts can break down such pipelines, making destructive explosions and threatening the safety of neighborhood structures and people. In this paper, to enhance the safety of these lines, response of a buried 56-inch diameter high pressure natural gas pipeline to a surface blast was numerically investigated. Besides, the effects of: i) explosive mass, ii) pipeline thickness, iii) burial depth and iv) concrete protective layer on pipeline deformation were parametrically studied. To simulate the problem according to actual explosion events, geometries were modeled in real scales, pipeline properties were predicted with Johnson-Cook strength and failure model and soil strength was determined by Drucker-Prager model. Also, explosive charge and natural gas were modeled with JWL (Jones-Wilkins-Lee) and ideal gas equation of states. For validation of the numerical method, three bench mark experiments were reproduced. Comparison of the numerical results and the experimental data confirmed the accuracy of the numerical method. Results of parametric studies indicated that by increasing the burial depth from 1.4 to 2.2 m, deformation of the pipeline was reduced about 71%. By analyzing the deformation plots, it was found that in a constant explosive mass, burial depth has a greater effect than pipeline thickness on pipeline deformation reduction. It was also shown that using a concrete protective layer may act reversely and increase pipeline destruction. In other words, to enhance the safety of pipelines, a certain thickness of concrete must be used.

The cost of road construction or its repair is among the most concerns for the pavements engineers. Cracking and degradation is common mode of failure in asphalt pavements that occurs due to increasing traffic loads or even environmental conditions. For facing with these damages, some solutions are proposed including correction, quality improvement and increasing the asphalt resistance. In this research, by adding different percent amounts of black nano-carbon and polyester fibers as modifier in the asphalt mixtures and conducting several Marshall tests, it was observed that adding these two additives can improve generally the Marshall results. Polyester fiber causes preventing crack and damages of asphalt because of armed effect specification. According to the results, Marshall stability is increased up to 61%. Furthermore, an economic analysis was performed to investigate the cost of using such modified asphalt mixtures for constructing 1 km of a six line road and suitable percentages of additives were found from mechanical-economic analyses.

Municipal solid waste management is one of the main challenges in mega cities. Consequences of landfilling and importance of using alternative energies contribute to the popularity of incineration facilities for city authorities. This article tries to determine the location and allocation decisions on landfills and incineration facilities regarding social and environmental effects. The proposed model minimizes revenue of selling recovered energy and minimizes visual pollution impacts. In addition, the environmental impacts of incineration and landfilling operations are considered as part of constraints. Using the data of Tehran's waste management organization, numerical results show the number of active transfer stations and traffic reduce leading to an increase on waste collection network's efficiency. The results also show a decrease on the landfilling and the amount of hazardous methane emissions as well as an improvement on power and heat energy recovery.
