Authors: Cong Doanh Duong, Huu Xuyen Nguyen, Thi Viet Nga Ngo, Van Hau Nguyen, Thi Phuong Linh Nguyen

DOI: 10.5267/j.msl.2019.9.020

Keywords: Characteristics, Entrepreneurial intention, Vietnamese students

Abstract:
The primary objective of this study is to investigate the effects of personal attitude toward entrepreneurship, self-efficacy (individual characteristics) and social capital, country norms (environmental characteristics) on entrepreneurial intention among students at universities and colleges in Vietnam. By collecting data from 210 students in Vietnam, authors employ the quantitative approach such as certain descriptive statistics, explorative factor analysis (EFA), KMO and Bartlett test, correlation coefficient analysis, ANOVA test and multiple regression analysis to test hypothesizes. The study investigates the relationship between entrepreneurial attitude, self-efficacy, social capital, country norms and entrepreneurial intention. The result of this research indi-cates that a large proportion of students only study and only a small percentage of them study and run their own business. In terms of willingness to take the risks, the highest figure belongs to the neutral level. In addition, the correlation coefficient and multiple regressions analysis indicate that all four factors were positively associated with entrepreneurial intention. Specially, country norms are seen as the most influential factors on entrepreneurial intention, followed by social capital, personal attitude, and self-efficacy, respectively.

DOI: 10.5267/j.msl.2019.8.016

Keywords: Knowledge sharing, Knowledge donation, Knowledge collection, Innovative work behavior

Abstract:
This paper analyses the role of online satisfaction (e-satisfaction) as a mediator in the relationship between website brand equitInnovative work behavior can stem from the sharing of knowledge between individuals and colleagues. Based on sample size survey of 396 Vietnam telecommunication employees with Cronbach’s Alpha analysis, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), correlation analysis, regression analysis, the study shows that the impact of knowledge sharing with two central processes (knowledge donation and knowledge collection) on innovative work behavior was meaningful. Compared with the process of knowledge donation, the process of knowledge collection has a stronger impact on innovative work behavior (β = 0.213 and 0.204 respectively). Besides, the authors propose some suggestions for telecommunications enterprise managers to influence the employee’s behavioral innovation through the impact of knowledge sharing.

DOI: 10.5267/j.msl.2019.5.006

Keywords: Online purchase intention, Trust, TAM, TPB

Abstract:
The aim of this research is to investigate the effects of different factors on Vietnamese consumers’ online shopping intention based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). A questionnaire was designed and sent directly to the respondents through the Internet. After 5 months period of collecting the necessary data, 423 valid replies were collected and analyzed. The data were analyzed in accordance with exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and multiple regression techniques. The results show that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude, subjective norm and trust had positive effects on consumers’ online shopping intention.

Innovative work behavior of Vietnam telecommunication enterprise employees Pages 1169-1180 Right click to download the paper Download PDF

Authors: Thị Phương Linh Nguyễn

DOI: 10.5267/j.msl.2019.4.023

Keywords: Innovative work behavior, Vietnam telecommunications enterprises, ASEAN countries

Abstract:
The telecommunications industry plays an important role in the socioeconomic development. In Vietnam, this is one of the industries with rapid growth but unsustainable, promoting the development in width without focusing on depth development. To aim for sustainable growth and deep development, every enterprise needs to consider and implement innovative work behavior (IWB). By both qualitative and quantitative methods, the author focused on researching IWB of Vietnam telecom-munications enterprise employees. The results showed that the behavior of innovation should be considered both the behavior of innovative work of individuals and the behavior of innovative work of individuals and colleagues. At the same time, the study also concluded that there were differences in gender, age, education qualification and working experience of Vietnam telecommunication enterprise employees when evaluating and scoring two scales of acts of innovation. Research results contributed both theoretically and practically to scholars and managers of Vietnam telecommunications enterprises.

Knowledge sharing along with two central processes; namely knowledge donation and collection, fosters employees’ innovative work behavior of Vietnam telecommunication enterprises. Based on a sample size survey of 396 Vietnam telecommunication employees and exploration factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM), the study determines factors such as trust, enjoyment in helping others, knowledge self-efficacy, management support, using information and communication technology significantly influence knowledge donation and collection. At the same time, knowledge donation and collection have positive impacts on employees’ innovative work behavior of Vietnam telecommunication enterprises. Authors: Thi Phuong Linh Nguyen, Xuan Hau Doan, Manh Dung Tran, Trung Thanh Le, Quynh Trang Nguyen

DOI: 10.5267/j.uscm.2018.11.007

Keywords: Knowledge sharing, Knowledge donation, Knowledge collection, Individual performance

Abstract:
Knowledge sharing plays an important role in management of universities. Vietnam universities are not highly regarded for their teaching quality and scientific research. It is therefore necessary to promote knowledge sharing through two central processes: knowledge donation and collection as well as individual performance of lecturers. Based on a sample size survey of 312 university lecturers in Vietnam and the methods of analyzing exploration factor (EFA), factor analysis (CFA), structural equation modeling (SEM) to examine the hypotheses of the survey, the study determines that two individual factors; namely job satisfaction and other involvement significantly influenced knowledge donation process. One individual factor also positively influences knowledge collection process, knowledge self-efficacy, and lecturers’ willingness to donate knowledge to improve individual performance. Finally, several suggestions for enhancing the knowledge sharing and individual performance of lecturers for university managers are given.
