From 2000 to 2019, trade between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Peru grew at an average annual rate of 22%, however, income and wealth inequality in Peru remained the same. The aim of this study is to understand the effect of trade between Peru and China on the inclusive economic growth of Peru from 2000 to 2019. The method used was the correlation of variables, and a linear regression between Peru and China trade and several indicators of inclusive economic growth in the Peruvian economy was performed using the Ordinary Least Squares model. The results suggest that there is sufficient statistical evidence to support that inclusive economic growth may depend on increased trade between Peru and China; the study show that if trade growth between Peru and China fluctuates by $1 million per year, labor income will increase by $10.3 per capita in the Economically Active Population (EAP). Moreover, for every 1% increase in trade between Peru and China, GDP per capita increases by 0.1057% and labor productivity increases by 0.0681740%. The variables poverty, vulnerable employment, GINI index and life expectancy at birth were not significant factors.

In developing countries, child labor has become a significant problem with adverse effects in the present and future for society and individuals. There are many causes that obligate children to abandon school and start working. Economic, social, familiar, and personal problems can expel children from school, inhibiting them from living appropriately. Polls like the ENAHO in Peru tried to recollect relevant data as much as possible to explain this problem. With many variables, it is necessary to have a methodology to build an algorithm with enough explanatory power to explain the situation. Therefore, this research elaborated an algorithm through Lasso to proportionate a statistical explanation of child labor. Due to the type of data, the regression was logistic.

In this presentation, a systematic review on the design and management of supply networks in retail companies was proposed. Currently, organizations seek to prioritize the management of their supply networks in a comprehensive manner to avoid uncertainty and the intricate connections between the various levels of the supply network, seeking growth in sales, ensuring adequate inventory rotation, supplier management and transportation or inventory-related expenses. In this case, the objective was to promote the concept of design and management of supply networks in retail companies. The review was carried out including the literature of 15 theses and articles in the period 2003-2023 using different reliable databases. Research shows that a good design and management of supply networks in retail companies reduces shrinkage and provides greater control of their stocks, avoiding unnecessary expenses or losses.

In order to identify the determinants that influence the credit risk of Peruvian municipal savings banks, this quantitative research uses a nonexperimental design and a longitudinal sample to analyze monthly data corresponding to macroeconomic variables and microfinance institutions’ internal variables from 2011 to 2020. Using multiple linear regression, the results show that the interest rate, unemployment rate, and liquidity ratio positively influence the credit risk of Peruvian municipal savings banks; the study also shows that gross domestic product, efficiency of administrative expenses, solvency, and coverage of provisions exert a negative influence on credit risk. It is concluded that seven of the eight independent variables studied influence the credit risk of Peruvian municipal savings banks; only the inflation variable does not significantly influence credit risk.

The current study analyzed the determinants of the Peruvian coca illegal plantations in the period 2003-2019. Hence, the DEVIDA database variables were gathered at first. Then, a machine learning-based technique is employed to select the most relevant variables for the study. That technique, Lasso, selected as accurate variables eradication of coca plantations and pasta base. Both OLS and VAR are employed to analyze the relevance of the selected variables. OLS finds that eradication was negatively related to the dependent variable. Nonetheless, pb confiscation had a positive relationship with illegal coca crops. Furthermore, VAR encounters that only pb confiscation affected the dependent variable. Supplementary tests are carried to ensure the accuracy of the results. In consequence, it is concluded that eradication policies by themselves were not enough to discourage the coca plantations. Farmers should get instruction about alternative crops and financial help. Furthermore, it has been claimed that pb confiscation generates scarcity of the drug, which elevates its price. Thus, coca farmers are more motivated to plant coca because of the higher prices. Therefore, as long as the international demand, which is disposed to pay high prices, the coca illegal crops and its illicit products will exist.

The present investigation analyzes how the dynamism of the environment affect the relationship be-tween the capacity of adaptation and the pioneering behavior in the companies of the tourism sector in Peru. The empirical study was carried out in 238 tourist companies located in the cities of Lima, Arequipa and Cuzco considered as a cultural heritage of Perú. Regarding to the results achieved in the study, the proposed model allows detecting a direct, significant effect between the ability to adapt and pioneering behavior, whose relationship is accentuated through market dynamism and technological dynamism, and is weakened by competitive intensity. This work contributes to the ex-isting theory and demonstrates through practical application the linkage of the dimensions of the dy-namism of the environment as drivers of adaptive capacity in companies in the cultural tourism sec-tor that are necessary to obtain advantages for a behavior Pioneer in an existing competitive market.

Over the last few years, knowledge has become part of the operations, both at the productive and service level; being considered as an important resource in companies, since it can generate competitive advantage. The objective was to determine the relationship between the activities developed by the companies from Nonaka & Takeuchi's (1995) approach and the creation of qualitative and quantitative value in 150 micro-entrepreneurs from different sectors. Partial least squares regression technique was used for data analysis and the results showed a direct relationship between socialization, combination and internalization and value creation; on the other hand, the relationship between externalization and value creation was inverse. For all relationships the p-value ensured the significance of them; finally, the study proposes the generation of intra and inter-organizational relationships for the creation, dissemination and use of knowledge in companies.

The objective of this investigation was to identify the current organizational culture of the financial system of the province of Huancayo and the culture that they wanted, to serve as a complement to the traditional indicators of the sector. The Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) was practiced on 412 workers from 16 financial institutions. It is a quantitative, non-experimental and descriptive study.

The purpose of this research was to determine how cultural aspects or beliefs of agricultural producers such as collectivism, trust, formality in land titling and productive planning influence the associative work of agricultural productive chains. Considering that for many years productive chains have been promoted as a development alternative for small agricultural producers in the Mantaro Valley, they have received training services, technical assistance, market articulation, etc., but very few remain today. The applied and descriptive research was carried out from July 2016 to May 2017 with the participation of 383 agricultural producers from four provinces of the Mantaro Valley, Junín, Peru. The results obtained show that the factors of trust and productive planning directly influence the associative work, while the aspects of collectivism and formality do not influence.

The objective of this research was to determine the factors of Visual Merchandising on con-sumers’ purchase decision in retail stores in the districts of El Tambo and Huancayo, 2019. The study was carried out using the quantitative approach including the scientific method (general) and the deductive method (specific). In addition, the non-experimental - transversal - descriptive research design was used. The survey was used as a technique; applying two questionnaires, one for Visual Merchandising and the other for the purchase decision. The study sample was made up of 384 consumers aged between 20 and 60 years who went to retail stores in the districts of El Tambo and Huancayo and they were randomly selected for the application of the instrument. By means of the structural equation model, it was obtained that the organization of the outside of the business (OBA) had a significant influence on the cultural (p ≤ 0.05) and social (p ≤ 0.05) factors of the purchase decision; and a negative relation-ship with personal (p> 0.05) and psychological factors (p> 0.05). Regarding the organization of the interior of the business (OBI), it did not have any positive relationship with the purchase decision of the consumers of the retail stores surveyed (p> 0.05 for H5, H6, H7 and H8), due to the low knowledge that retailers have regarding the organization of the product at the point of sale. The environmental factors of the business (EFB) generated a positive impact on the cultural (p ≤ 0.05), personal (p ≤ 0.05) and psychological (p ≤ 0.05) purchase decision factors. However, they did not generate a positive impact on the social factor (p> 0.05) of the purchase decision (CSPD). It is concluded that the factors (exterior architecture, interior architecture, and atmosphere) of Visual Merchandising determine the purchase decision of consumers from retail stores in the central region of Peru (districts of El Tambo and Huancayo).
