This study aims to measure people's decision-making to buy their pet insurance and compare it with the amount of insurance premium rates offered. It is important due to the increase in people's income which has triggered the birth of a community of pet lovers as part of the middle-class people’s lifestyle in Indonesia. The survey data was conducted using the Stated Preference (SP) format through questionnaires and interviews to determine the public response to pet insurance premiums. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive methods, decision-making analysis was on the basis of the choice of the dichotomous Contingent Valuation Method (CVM), and logistic regression analysis. Based on the calculation analysis using the logit method shows that the ability of the public to pay pet insurance premiums is IDR289,454.54. Analysis of calculations using the Turnbull method was obtained at IDR365,000.00. The results of the WTP amount, both using the logit method and using the Turnbull method, are greater than the minimum premium amount offered which is IDR190,000.00. The results of this study indicate that the premium rates for pet insurance offered are still within reasonable limits, compared to the size of the decision-making by the animal lover community in Indonesia. This provides a very good prospect for insurance companies that have insurance products for pets in Indonesia. This study was conducted to provide empirical evidence that the decision-making of the animal lover community is greater than the premium rate for pet insurance that has been offered. Thus, this research strongly supports the development of pet insurance companies in Indonesia, which can provide pet protection to stay healthy and well looked after.

The COVID-19 pandemic caused significant changes in many aspects especially towards small medium entrepreneurs (SMEs) as many of SMEs need to shut down their business due to movement control order (MCO) conducted by Malaysia government as SMEs cannot reach their customers. Previous studies show that having an effective digital marketing strategy in place might leave businesses vulnerable to severe setbacks towards SMEs. This research proposal aims to carry out and prove the possible potential effects and factors that influence digital marketing implementation towards online consumers in Selangor during COVID-19 pandemic. The methodology of this paper uses a descriptive qualitative approach by analyzing various previous literature on digital marketing scope of study. The sample size of the study is 235 respondents who were selected based on convenience sampling. The finding has discovered that there is a significant relationship between customer loyalty with implementation of digital marketing towards online consumers in Selangor during COVID-19 pandemic and there is a significance relationship between brand awareness and the implementation of digital marketing towards online consumer in Selangor during COVID-19 pandemic.

As foodborne diseases are current major health issues worldwide, food safety is a global health target. The present work has used social cognitive theory as theoretical support for examining the social and cognitive factors [outcome expectations (OE), self-regulation (SR), environmental determinants (ED), and self-efficacy (SE)] of Jordanian restaurant managers’ and supervisors’ food safety behavior (FSB). The moderator was willingness to comply (WC). Data were collected from the participants via Google Forms using purposive sampling methods. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed, where 250 questionnaires were sent each to the Jordanian Restaurant Association (JRA, representing international and chain food restaurants in Jordan) as well as the Jordanian Union of Restaurants and Confectionary Proprietors (URCP, representing the local Jordanian restaurants). Two hundred and ninety-six completed questionnaires were returned. The hypotheses were analysed with smart partial least squares by structural equation modelling. The analysis determined that OE, SR, ED, and SE had positive impacts on FSB, while WC played a role in moderating the interlinkage among SE, OE, and FSB. To sum up, the current study as a whole also has significant theoretical and practical contributions for the practitioners in the given context.

Tourism has become a new way of living with the living standard development. This study analyses the tourism destination centrality and spatial patterns of the tourism system using complex network analysis. An analysis of 245 destinations in the South of Thailand has found that the network has a low network density, large average path length and low clustering coefficient. Some a small number of high-degree destinations connect to each other, while most connect to others with a low degree. The network comprises 18 subnetworks that destinations densely connect to others in the same subnetwork but sparsely connect to others in different ones. Destinations play different roles in the network based on which a centrality measure is used, degree, betweenness and closeness centrality. 31 destinations with high hub and authority centrality are the centers playing as hubs of the network. The study’s findings draw implications for the sector.

This research sought to assess how Jordan's corporate environment affected corporate performance. The population is made up of (182) businesses. Using simple random sampling, 384 respondents from companies listed on the Amman Stock Exchange were given questionnaires as part of a quantitative approach. To confirm the correlations between the variables, the data were analyzed using AMOS; the study relied on the descriptive analytical method. The study's most notable findings demonstrated that corporate environmental performance had a favorable and considerable impact on corporate performance.

In this descriptive analytical study conducted within the Jordanian Customs Department, the influence of Customs Intelligence and Risk Management on Sustainable Supply Chain practices and their subsequent effects on Customs Department Logistics were investigated. Data collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to department employees were analyzed using Smart PLS-4. The findings revealed that Customs Intelligence significantly shapes Sustainable Supply Chain practices, emphasizing the importance of data driven decision-making in achieving sustainability goals. Effective Risk Management strategies were found to positively contribute to Sustainable Supply Chain initiatives, highlighting the symbiotic relationship between risk mitigation and sustainability. Sustainable Supply Chain practices, in turn, were demonstrated to enhance the efficiency of Customs Department Logistics. Furthermore, the study unveiled that Sustainable Supply Chain acts as a mediator, enhancing the impact of both Risk Management and Customs Intelligence on Logistics outcomes. These findings collectively underscore the intricate dynamics of these factors in the context of the Jordanian Customs Department, providing valuable insights for optimizing logistics operations, ensuring compliance, and fostering sustainability. This paper contributes valuable insights and empirical evidence to the fields of customs-related logistics, risk management, sustainable supply chain management, and logistics operations within the Jordanian Customs Department. The paper provides recommendations that have the potential to inform and improve logistics practices, benefiting stakeholders in both the public and private sectors and advancing the understanding of these critical dynamics in the broader logistics and supply chain management discipline.

Research related to entrepreneurial strategy variables, financial and non-financial performance, social capital and supply chain management in SMEs has not been widely carried out in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between entrepreneurial strategy on financial and non-financial performance, social capital on financial and non-financial performance and sustainable supply chain management on financial and non-financial performance in SMES. The research method is quantitative with the online survey method. The data collection method is by distributing online questionnaires to 690 SMEs owners in Indonesia determined by simple random sampling. The questionnaire is designed using a Likert scale of 7. Data processing used structural equation modeling with SmartPLS 3.0 software tools. The results of data processing show that entrepreneurship strategy (ES) had a positive and significant effect on sustainable supply chain management (SSCM), social capital (SC) had a positive and significant effect on sustainable supply chain management (SSCM), entrepreneurship strategy (ES) had a positive and significant effect on SMEs financial and non-financial performance (SFNFP), social capital (SC) had a positive and significant effect on financial and non-financial performance (SFNFP) and sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) had a positive and significant effect on financial and non-financial SMEs financial performance ( SNFFP).

In the face of global competition and the coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) pandemic, the logistics service providers (LSPs) are facing severe challenges to attain their logistics performance indicators. To continue in such a market place, LSPs need to maintain a dedicated integration relationship with their clients by enhancing client special treatment benefits. The aim of this study is to apply the relational view (RV) theory and the relationship marketing (RM) perspective to examine the moderation effect of special treatment benefits on the link between logistics integration and LSPs’ logistics performance (i.e., cost leadership and customer services innovation). Data was collected from 214 Malaysian LSPs, and analysed using partial least squares-structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Although the results show that logistics integration has a strong impact on both performances, further analysis shows that a high level of logistics integration has an association with high levels of special treatment benefits (moderating effect), in turn, maintaining performance at a high level. The exploring of the moderation effect of special treatment benefits contributes to the RV theory by incorporating the RM to reflect the moderation effect. Additionally, the study contributes empirically to the field of strategy and RM within the LSPs’ industry. Finally, the findings enable LSPs to better allocate resources to ensure more effective value-based strategies that emphasise on client special treatment benefits to develop financial confidence and maintain long-term dedicated relationships, so as to achieve the target outcomes.

This study was to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial skills and benchmarking on the performance of culinary innovations (restaurants, restaurants, and cafes) of micro-small-medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia sub-urban areas. Online questionnaires were used as the instrument to collect data, and the data were analyzed by deception analysis to illustrate various features of the variables studied. Hypothesis test was conducted by Partial Least Square Path Modeling (SEM-PM). The MSME population was 231 and the representative sample was 144 culinary companies. It was found that entrepreneurial skills, benchmarking, and performance of culinary MSME innovations tended to be lower than expected. The results of this study revealed that entrepreneurship and benchmarking skills had significant effects on innovation performance. To improve innovation performance, companies must pay more attention to practical knowledge, especially knowledge of bookkeeping and digital marketing, and make more comparisons on financial aspects.

Empirical studies related to interrelationships between variables perceived value, customer satisfaction and behavioral intention conducted in the Maldives context and in the medical care industry is very rare. A quantitative cross-sectional study conducted in natural settings using a survey questionnaire to assess the interrelationships between above mentioned variables by utilizing a conceptual model created from three interrelationship models obtained from previous research. Data collected from willing participants across the 19 atolls resulting in a total of 385 responses obtained after data cleaning. A stratified proportionate random sampling method used. SPSS 25.00 and AMOS 23.00 used as analysis tools. The Sobel test applied to analyze the mediating effect of customer satisfaction on the relationship between perceived value and behavioral intention which confirmed a positive and significant relationship between perceived value, customer satisfaction and behavioral intention. Study rejected the hypothesis which test the mediation of customer satisfaction on the relationship between perceived value and behavioral intention. This study is first of its kind to generalize findings on Maldivian’s medical seeking behavior, and results helps policymakers, medical practitioners, medical institutions, and respective administrations to provide better customer perceived value towards providing higher customer satisfaction, which in effect improve customer behavioral intention towards medical care service providers.
