Abstract:
This study aims to investigate the strategies employed by halal food manufacturers in Malaysia to mitigate operational supply risks. This study selected a sample of 369 respondents using a simple random sampling method to participate in the main survey. The collected dataset was analysed using covariance-based software (AMOS-SEM)) to test the study hypotheses. The findings of this research highlight that halal food manufacturers in Malaysia proactively adopt measures to manage operational supply risks from suppliers. Notably, they utilize behaviour-based and buffer-based strategies to effectively minimize the impact of these risks. This study focused on supply-related risks. To secure the integrity of halal, the firms must address demand-related risks and governmental and organizational risks to ensure the halalness of halal products. Therefore, it is crucial to consider risk management for all parts of the supply chain to guarantee the halal compliance of food products. The study highlights halal firms' need for behaviour-based and buffer-based risk management strategies to mitigate price, quality, and delivery risks while ensuring brand reputation and consumer trust through collaboration, information sharing, and supplier performance evaluation. This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the operational supply risks faced by halal food manufacturers, offering insights into the unique challenges and vulnerabilities within the halal food supply chain. By specifically focusing on Malaysia, this research contributes to the limited existing literature in this specific context, further enriching our knowledge in this field.

Abstract:
This study aims empirically to analyze mitigation strategies for operational supply risk among halal food manufacturers in Malaysia. A survey of 369 halal food manufacturers is used to test a research model that proposes a relationship between operational supply risk and risk consequences as well as the mediating role of risk mitigation strategies. Structural equation modeling reveals that in the absence of a risk mitigation strategy (behavior-based management, buffer-based management, and traceability-based management), operational risk consequences are significantly influenced by operational supply risk. The analysis also showed the mitigation strategies reduce risk events by its interaction between operational supply risk and risk consequences. This study shows significant data about the management of halal food manufacturing. Due to the limitations of this survey, further study is necessary to analyze how other halal's sectors manage their supply chain risk management.

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to identify the types of halal food supply risks, types of mitigation strategies for the upstream supply chain and to examine the relationship between halal supply risk and mitigation strategy efforts using the lens of the agency theory. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) is used to validate the variables of the study and regression is performed to analyze the relationship of halal food supply risk and mitigation strategy. It is identified that halal food supply risk (agency uncertainties) consists of quality risk, delivery risk, and price/cost risk. The mitigation strategy efforts consist of behavior-based management, buffer-based management, and traceability-based management. Results indicate that halal food supply risk significantly increase mitigation strategy efforts of firms. However, price & cost risk does not significantly increase behavior-based management. Practical implications include suggesting the firms to invest more in buffer-oriented so as to mitigate the agency uncertainties.

Abstract:
The utilization of Business Intelligence (BI) to yield financial management among manufactures has been one of the main advantages of managing businesses through strategized financial performance. The BI can be conceptualized as a decision-making process, which is an emerging topic within technology management and financial decision making. Furthermore, such factors influencing the adoption of this type of strategized decision-making process are under extensive investigation. The main objective of this research is to develop a BI framework to provide a data analytics and action plan to help Malaysian Halal Food Manufacturing Industry (MHFMI) strategize financial performance. The specific objective of the study is to assess and validate the relationship between the adoption of BI and MHFMI. The methodology of the study starts with the theory adoption of BI parameters and methods, followed by the development of the adopted and adapted theoretical models using the conceptual framework developed and MHFMI involvement into the strategic financial performance management. The managers of the MHFMI is requested to provide the necessary information about their companies, perception of BI and financial performances. Reliability analysis is used to validate the constructs and test measurements in variance. The study applies regression analysis to determine the effects of different decision making strategies on BI. The research output indicates that the BI data analytics and the action plan as well as the conceptual framework could improve the financial performance by the adoption and the adaptation of the conceptualized strategy among MHFMI. This study is believed to be the first in Jordan that shed light on how human resource functions could provide environmental performance in health service organizations particularly in hospitals. It supports the literature of Green HRM and environment protection which is not well developed in developing countries like Jordan.

Abstract:
Information System (IS) is a strife to exploit Business Intelligence (BI) in an organization. In the Malaysian Halal Food Manufacturing, a league of Information Technology (IT) professional and decision makers is the architect of the perspective in IT. There are numerous research studies on utilizing and investigating strategic effects of environmental factors augmentation on the organizations, but compact information is acknowledged prevailing how the subjective conception for the strategic source of deci-sions is transformed into the objective principle. Hence, general interpretation of the IT professional and the decision makers is crucial for a comprehensive and collaborative decision-making process. Therefore, prosper stimulate assimilation of the environmental factors that persuade the knowledge integration between IT professionals and decision makers is compulsory. BI and Big Data (BD) help organizations derive enhance decision-making process and knowledge creation. The objective of this research study is to emerge knowledge from organizing BD and to utilize BI together with perceiving MIT90s framework and environmental factors for the analysis of decision-making process of halal food manufacturers in Malaysia. The study applied regression analysis to predicted 103 responses to determine decision making of business performance. The results indicate that halal market demand played important role in predicting business performance of halal manufactures. This study provides some insights into decision making perspectives of business performance management among halal food manufacturers in Malaysia.

Abstract:
Halal industry in Malaysia provides a great opportunity for food manufacturers to expand their businesses, globally. However, the business has faced with some difficulties to improve performance due to complexity in halal supply chain. This paper studies the adoption of halal food supply chain (HFSC) factors on business performance among halal food manufacturers in Malaysia. Data were collected randomly from Halal Development Council (HDC) directory website. Using regres-sion analysis, 103 responses were analyzed to determine the effects of adoption factors of HFSC on business performance. The results indicate that the context of technological, organizational and environmental can improve business performance of halal manufacturer. Perceived benefits in the context of technological gives the best predictor on business performance. In the context of organizational, readiness provides the best predictor of business performance. Meanwhile, halal market demand in the context of environmental gives the best predictor of business performance. The paper examines business performance in food industry; however other industries in halal are not focused. The results provide some insights into business performance among halal industry in Malaysia.
