Authors: Ibrahim A. Abu-AlSondos, Abeer F. Alkhwaldi, Hanadi A. Salhab, Maha Shehadeh, Basel J. A. Ali

DOI: 10.5267/j.ijdns.2022.12.013

Keywords: Systematic review, Customer Attitudes, Online Shopping, Customer attitude

Abstract:
The primary goal of this study is to investigate the major elements that impact customer attitudes regarding internet purchasing in Jordan. This study employed a qualitative systematic literature review methodology, with 100 existing peer-reviewed articles completed in Jordan chosen for evaluation based on an inclusion/exclusion criterion. The findings of this study were collected utilizing a thematic method, which involved extracting previous researchers' findings from the literature, categorizing similar themes and findings, and drawing conclusions. According to the findings of this survey, the most important elements impacting customer attitudes about online buying in Jordan are trust, cultural hurdles such as uncertainty avoidance and a lack of understanding, security, perceived ease-of-use, and perceived utility. It was also discovered that Hofstede's cultural dimensions’ theory and the technology acceptance model (TAM) can help online businesses identify what factors drive online shopping adoption in Jordan. This study discovered, through a review of available literature, that the online shopping sector in Jordan is currently undeveloped, necessitating more effective growth techniques. Finally, the outcomes of this study provide online merchants with insight into what has to be prioritized in order to entice Jordanian customers to make online purchases. From the findings of this investigation, three areas of inquiry were uncovered for further study. Findings from this study also include suggestions for online retailers and policymakers looking to boost Jordanians' comfort level with making purchases over the Internet. The findings of this study will be invaluable to international online retailers that are considering entering the Jordanian market. They will reveal not only the most important aspects affecting consumers' perceptions of online shopping in Jordan, but also the level of maturity of this sector.

The interrelationship between strategy as practice and public service innovation and delivery: Academic history and evidence from Kuwait Pages 151-162 Right click to download the paper Download PDF

Authors: Jarrah Al-Mansour

DOI: 10.5267/j.ijdns.2021.1.001

Keywords: Decision support, Public innovation, Public service delivery, Strategy-as-practice, Systematic review, Kuwait

Abstract:
Despite the rare use of the term ‘strategy’ in public and voluntary sector organizations, recent research has seen the use of both the strategy and strategy-as-practice concepts in regulating the innovation perspective within the public sector. The available literature on innovation, strategy, and service delivery within the public sector offers positive insights into forming a new concept of innovation within the public organization sphere. Using a systematic review, we aim to understand the integration of the strategy-as-practice perspective into the public service ethos to drive the innovation perspective forward. The review was performed in two stages, 855 documents were retrieved in the first stage that covered a five-year time span, while 8,620,000 documents were retrieved in the second stage that covered a twenty-three-year time span. We further supported our argument through a quantitative questionnaire with 93 respondents from Kuwait. The findings of the research indicate that public sector policymakers need to pay attention to the social complexity of their context in order to innovate delivered public services. Furthermore, policymakers need to adopt new innovative schemes including innovative strategy practices, digital governance, reform ethos, and mutual constitution in their strategies in order to ensure the innovative public services that are required by their communities.

Abstract:
The emergence of large language models (LLMs), like ChatGPT, has caused a major shift in all academic and professional fields; education being the one impacted the most deeply. The first 200 most cited articles from Scopus on the topic of "large language models" and "education" were selected for a scientometric analysis of this survey. The aim is to map the intellectual landscape, specifying dominant research themes, key contributors, methodological trends, and the emergent challenges that researchers faced during this initial, explosive phase of research. This review systematically analyzes the publication trends, authorship patterns, geographical and institutional contributions, and the conceptual structure of the literature to provide a quantitative and qualitative snapshot of a field that is rapidly changing. The analysis uncovers a domain where exploratory studies, conceptual debates, and early empirical validations dominate, and where the focus of research is mainly on higher education and medical training. The major issues being discussed are academic integrity, assessment redesign, and the ethical integration of AI, while promising applications are personalized learning, automated feedback, and content generation. This survey is a reference for a better understanding of the roots and forefronts of LLM-related educational research as it passes from the initial reaction to systematic integration.
