The study on knowledge management is in waning trend, which caters less interest in scholars to discuss recently. The area that received widespread attention previously has unlikely be-come an old-fashioned term which perceived as less important among few organizational re-searchers. Looking to the trend, the researcher takes an evaluative step to examine whether Knowledge Management is still relevant for organizations nowadays by studying the impact of knowledge management on organizational business performance. The study was conducted in 2016 and it was involved companies in electrical and electronic sector located in Malaysia. In this study, knowledge management was formed from three elements including knowledge acquisition, knowledge sharing and knowledge utilization. A total of 287 questionnaires were collected from electrical and electronic companies in Malaysia. The finding shows that among all those three knowledge management elements, only knowledge acquisition and knowledge utilization were still relevant to organizational business performance in Malaysia nowadays, whereas knowledge sharing was perceived to be less important. The findings of this study provide insight into the importance of knowledge management in organizational business performance.

Social media has become one of the most effective tools for marketing and promotion of brands. Given this importance of social media, it is therefore critical for brands to develop quality content for their brand pages and frequently interact with consumers. Using theoretical lens of Stimulus-Organism-Response (S–O-R) paradigm, this research aims to study the impact of content quality and brand interactivity on purchase intention via mediation of brand awareness. To this end, we collected data from n = 282 millennial shoppers of sportswear to test hypothesized relationships. Our findings suggest that content quality and brand interactivity significantly impact purchase intention. It is further revealed that brand awareness mediates the relationship between content quality and purchase intention as well as brand inter-activity and purchase intention. This research provides new theoretical insights into social media marketing and consumer behavior research by linking content quality and brand interactivity to purchase intention.

The purpose of this study is 1) to find out whether there is an influence of transformational leadership on soldier trust, 2) to find out whether there is an influence of transformational leadership on employee engagement, 3) to determine the effect of transformational leadership on job satisfaction, 4) to determine the effect of trust on employee engagement, 5) to deter-mine the effect of trust on soldier job satisfaction, 6) to determine the effect of Employee engagement on job satisfaction. The method used in this research is quantitative data collection methods. The data are collected through questionnaires and literature studies. The study uses structural equation modeling to test the hypotheses of this survey and the results have confirmed all the hypotheses of the survey.

The purpose of this paper is to explore factors affecting career success of graduate students from Ho Chi Minh City Open University in Vietnam. By employing mixed research method with qualitative and quantitative techniques, we first conducted in-depth interview with 20 graduate students to find out factors that can affect their career success, and then quantitative data was collected with a survey of 436 graduate students in Vietnam. We employ Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with Smart PLS 3.2 software to analyze the collected data. The finding suggests that individual competences, working experience, personal networks and organizational structure were crucial factors that influence objective career success, while individual aspirations and personal networks were important factors for subjective career success. The paper provides important implications for organizations and educational institutions to enhance career success of their workers.

This research aims at examining the mediating of product innovation on the relationship between employee development and marketing capacity on product innovation of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Hanoi. After 4 months of collecting data, the author received 350 responses and 311 responses left after refining. The findings from the research indicate that employee development and marketing capacity did not only directly but also indirectly affect competitive advantages via product innovation. The findings provide enterprises with important implications for improving competitive advantages from marketing, human resources and product innovation perspectives.

In this competitive environment for the survival of the organization, it is essential to retain competent workforce, and keep them well aligned with organizational objectives. Turnover of employees creates panic situation and unnecessary burden of high recruitment cost. The present study identifies the relationship between job embeddedness and turnover intention. The survey of 119 employees was conducted in Saudi Arabia. The study found no significant relationship between job embeddedness and turnover intention. Negative correlation was found between turnover intention with respect to age and experience of employees. It clearly states that as the employees gain experience, their turnover intent decreases. Age is also an important factor of turnover intention. It was found that older employees showed less turnover intent in comparison to younger employees. The results will provide insights to organization for making effective strategies to keep employees embedded with their jobs and help in reducing turnover intent and actual turnover.

This research aims to improve a methodic for evaluation of economy’s competitiveness through theoretical-methodological substantiation, forming and calculation of integral indices of innovative technological competitiveness across the regions of a country. The relevance and indispensability of reinforcement of economy’s competitiveness on innovative technological foundations are also substantiated. Available methodical approaches in economic literature and competitiveness rankings and indices used by leading international economic organizations, namely in innovations and high technology domains, are generalized. Authors’ methodic of calculation of integral index of economy’s innovative technological competitiveness is suggested. Integral indicators of provision of innovative technological activity with resources, innovative technological activity and efficiency of innovative technological activity across regions (on the example of Ukraine) are calculated for 2009-2018; conclusions regarding the preconditions, capacity and availability of tendencies of innovative technological activity in oblasts (regions) of the country are made. The paper explains that each of the components of innovative technological competitiveness of the country’s economy had almost equal input in forming of its integral index – provision with resources, capacity and efficiency of innovative technological activity. In the first place, it is an additional argument in favor of the model’s reliability, and in the second place, it brings into the fore the importance of public policy in terms of improvement of resources maintenance of innovative and technologically active companies, boosting of innovative technological activity and increasing of its efficiency and contribution to general economic growth of the country. Strategic priorities of state policy of reinforcement of the economy’s innovative technological competitiveness are substantiated.

The purpose of this research was to determine the factors affecting the career choice of students in Tourism in Danang City, Vietnam. The survey adopted some questionnaire from the existing literature, distributed among 350 randomly chosen participants and managed to collect 300 properly filled ones. Cronbach’s Alphas were well above the desirable level and confirmed the overall survey. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was implemented to reduce the important factors into six groups and multiple regression analysis (MRA) was executed in order to measure the effects of each group on the career choice. The survey results show that the career choice of students in Tourism was due to career opportunities, belief in self-capacity, culture, intellect and the imposition of others.

The objective of the study is to investigate the mediating role of the productivity of the banks sector in Jordan based on the relationship between human resources and strategic performance from the point of view of the senior management managers and functional unit managers (human resources, marketing, finance and accounting). Human resources were measured through human resource activities. The population of the current study represented all the commercial banks in Jordan, the total number of which is 26. A survey questionnaire is prepared based on the published literature, and the data are collected from 371 respondents from the targeted banks. The necessary tests to ensure reliability and validity are performed using SPSS. The results indicate that human resources positively affected strategic performance and productivity. The findings also revealed that productivity positively mediated the relationship between human resources and the commercial banks' strategic performance.

This study aims to determine the effects of different factors influencing on civil service intentions to conduct whistleblowing. The factors include attitudes toward whistleblowing, organizational commitment, personal cost of reporting, wrongdoer, ethical environment, gender, and ethnicity. We conduct survey on 135 employees who work for financial audit institutions in Central Java Province of Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that attitude, organizational commitment and ethnicity had positive effects on whistleblowing intentions, while retaliation views and violator status had a negative effect on the intention of doing whistleblowing. However, the ethical environment and gender did not affect the intention of civil servants to do whistleblowing. It can be concluded that in the formation of intentions to conduct whis-tleblowing, there is a need for existence of self-control from various limitations.
