This article attempts to examine the factors that affect the mechanism of mobilizing and utilizing financial resources in building new countryside in Vietnam. Based on the primary data gathered from 480 inhabitants, managers and enterprises in Nghe An province and through exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and linear regression, the findings show that viewpoint, orientations and objectives of socio-economic development are the most influential factors to the mechanism of the mobilization and utilization of financial resources for new countryside building, followed by structural organization and technical facilities, participating individual’s perception, socio-economic environment and, lastly, specific characteristics of building new countryside.

One of the primary objectives in product development is to reach an appropriate design perspective. This paper proposes a methodology, which uses functions, mechanisms, and attributes of the product to solve a design problem. The proposed approach works as a supporting methodology to assist young researchers as well as design engineers and the implementation of the method is demonstrat-ed using a real-world case study of home appliances. A survey is conducted to identify six home appliances that have the highest frequency of daily use and to determine the one, which creates troubles for its users. The results of this study can be further used in TRIZ to identify innovative solutions.

Analysis of addent interactions with respect to the theory of electrophilicity and nucleophilicity indexes and kinetic studies shows the polar nature of [2+3] cycloaddition of (Z)-C-(m,m,p-trimethoxyphenyl)-N-(p-methylphenyl)-nitrone to (E)-3,3,3-trichloro-1-nitroprop-1-ene. However, PES exploration results do not confirm any zwitterion on the reaction paths. On the other hand, the nature of the solvent effect and the experimentally determined activation parameter values do not exclude a scenario in which one-step and stepwise processes occur simultaneously.

Kinetics of the oxidation of primary aliphatic alcohols has been carried out using phase transferred monochromate in benzene. Tetrabutylammonium bromide (TBAB) and tetrabutylphosphonium bromide (TBPB) are used as phase transfer catalysts (PT catalyst). The reaction shows first order dependence on both [alcohol] and [monochromate ion]. The oxidation leads to the formation of corresponding aldehyde and no traces of carboxylic acid has been detected. The reaction mixture failed to induce the polymerization of added acrylonitrile which rules out the presence radical intermediates in the reaction. Various thermodynamic parameters have been evaluated and a suitable mechanism has been proposed.
