This research aims to investigate the relationships between Big Data and Internet of Things (IoT) adoption and employee behavior in the chemical manufacturing industry, specifically focusing on the mediating role of organizational innovation. The research methodology employs a quantitative approach that involves employee surveys, statistical analysis, and mediation testing. The primary findings reveal that Big Data adoption significantly enhances Organizational Innovation, contributing positively to Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) among employees. Conversely, IoT adoption has a significant positive impact on Organizational Innovation but does not directly influence OCB. The relationship between IoT adoption and OCB is mediated by Organizational Innovation, highlighting the pivotal role of innovation as an intermediary in influencing employee behavior. The practical implications of this research suggest that organizations in the chemical manufacturing industry should strategically integrate Big Data and IoT technologies to foster innovation and elevate OCB. Leadership support and employee training are crucial. Study limitations include industry specificity, self-reported data, and static analysis. Future research should diversify samples and use longitudinal methods. Recommendations: embrace tech with innovation focus, train leaders, and deepen understanding of tech, innovation, and behavior.

This paper studies the effect of organizational citizenship behavior on perceptions of service quality in city of Tehran, Iran in 2013. The study considers the behavior of citizens in terms of five perspectives including altruism, generosity, loyalty, social customs and courtesy. The study selects 229 regular employees of this municipality organization and applies a questionnaire designed in Likert scale. The results of Pearson correlation test as well as stepwise regression technique indicate that there were positive and meaningful relationships between organizational citizenship behavior including Altruism, (B = 0.445, Sig. =0.043), Social Customs, (B = 0.395, Sig. = 0.000), Generosity (B = 0.299, Sig. = 0.000), Loyalty (B = 0.193, Sig. =0.000) and Courtesy (B = 1.221, Sig. =0.000) and perceptions of service quality.

Social capital is one of the most important assets of any organization and it plays essential role in reaching organizational objectives. In this paper, we present an empirical study to study the effect of social capital on job satisfaction and citizenship behavior. The proposed study is performed among 240 employees who work for Allameh Tabataba’i University in Iran. The study designs a questionnaire in Likert scale and distributes it among selected employees and, using structural equation modeling, investigates the role of social capital on job satisfaction as well as citizenship behavior. The preliminary results of our survey indicate that social capital positively influences on both mentioned variables.
