Abstract:
Smart farming is a feasible solution to help farmers effectively and sustainably manage the potential threats and risks those traditional farmers face, such as product quality, increased production costs, the environment, climate change, natural catastrophes, pests, and inferior goods. Using a survey research design, this research examined smart farming adoption and risk management models by combining the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Innovation Diffusion Theory (IDT). The research sampled 400 farmers who are members of community enterprises in the northeastern region of Thailand. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using a statistical package program in four steps: confirmatory factor analysis, path analysis, structural equation model analysis (SEM), and Sobel's test. The findings revealed that government support variables had the most significant influence by adopting smart farming to risk management. Based on the research results, the government can apply this model to create strategies to encourage farmers to adopt smart farming and increase the production efficiency of agricultural products. The farmer can manage the risks of smart farming, which leads to sustainable smart farming and is useful for further academic acceptance and risk management studies. Furthermore, this study contributes to the existing literature on combining TAM and IDT in model adoption and risk management. The limitations include the small sample size adopted and the limited coverage area for the study, which restricts the generalization of the findings. However, the findings offer a glimpse into the benefits of smart farming.

Abstract:
Supply chain management is essential for enhancing an organisation’s position among its competitors by improving its efficiency and effectiveness. The fundamental goal of this study is to recognize the effect of the supply chain responsiveness, flexibility, and its adaptation within the Saudi Arabian business industry. The data in this study were collected from a sample of 390 participants in senior business positions, and then analysed using the multiple regression technique. The results indicated that both the measurements and model have satisfactory fit indices and showed that the three hypotheses raised in this study could be accepted. Additionally, the results demonstrated that both the responsiveness and adaptation of the supply chain exert a positive effect on how the supply chain performs. So, the faster the organisation responds and adapts to the supply chain activities, the higher performance they tend to get.

Abstract:
This paper discusses the organizational and methodological foundations and methods exploited to forecast, analyze and scale down threats and risks in the sphere of economic security, to solve the adaptation problems, to implement and to evaluate of the potency of protective measures. The object of the conducted research is associated with various economic activities of the commercial enterprises affiliated in Rostov region. A suggested model of the formation and functioning of adaptive engineering tools for managing economic security in the form of derivative balance of the enterprise resources and the sources of their formation will allow the proprietors, executive board and mana-gerial staff to obtain necessary information within the requested context regarding the enterprise vital economic interests. In addition, the paper pays attention to the methodological aspects of accounting description and estimation of the iterative achievements to meet the desired adaptation results, implemented within the framework of the described iterative algorithm aimed at ensuring strategic prediction.

Abstract:
This article aims to analyze the different impacts that some factors may exert on the probability that an industrial zone-located firm adapts. Recently, industry policy in developing countries tends to spur both SMEs and the industrial zone in terms of adaptation, considering them as the main driver of innovation and growth. However, not all industrial zone-located firms adapt. Departing from an extensive sample of the Vietnam Technology and Competitiveness Survey in combination with the Vietnam Enterprise Survey in 2011-2013, we try to determine those factors that cause firms to become industrial zone-located adaptation SMEs (IA-SMEs, firms fewer than 250 employees, being located in the industrial zone and adapting existing technologies). The analysis results highlight the importance of direct linkages, technology transfer between FDI firms and industrial zone-located adaptation SMEs, economic obstacles, and the interactions between them that cause industrial zone-located adaptation SMEs to adapt in the supply chain (obtained through direct transfer of technology between linked firms).
