Abstract:
Airport Collaborative Decision Making (ACDM) flight scheduling plans rely on accurate predictions of both optimal and reliable aircraft turnaround times, which is one of the most difficult things to complete. In order to account for the effects of randomness and fuzziness on the turnaround process duration, this paper deals with transforming the probability distribution of well-fitted sub-processes into a cumulative density function, which is equivalent to the fuzzy membership function (FMF), and then using goodness-of-fit to determine the fuzzy membership grade of each turnaround sub-process. The turnaround time is calculated using the fuzzy critical path method (FCPM), which is a combination of the Critical Path Method (CPM) and fuzzy set theory. In order to verify this estimate, we created the FMF using historical data and compared it to turnaround times based on FCPM. A linear regression model is used to examine the relationship between arrival delays and the FCPM-based turnaround process. We also use historical data to generate fuzzy sets of different arrival delays using Frankfurt airport data from the summer of 2017 and conclude that delays are positively correlated with the FCPM-based turnaround process.

Abstract:
Locating, routing and inventory control in production and distribution centers are the most important decisions in supply chain management. Because of the dependence of these decisions to each other, considering these three aspects simultaneously can have a huge impact on cost reduction. In this study, first, a location-inventory model is developed by utilizing METRIC approach and then, METRIC approach is applied to the location-inventory-routing model. The intended supply chain includes a supplier, distributors and retailers, and the inventory control policy is implemented for both the distributors and retailers. Retailers' demand follows Poisson distribution and the lead-time is also considered probabilistic and is affected by the shortage in distribution centers. Given that the presented model belongs to the class of NP-hard problems, a hybrid metaheuristic solution method is also presented to solve the resulted problem. The proposed hybrid metaheuristic algorithm contains a Simulated Annealing algorithm, to optimize the location-routing problem, and a Genetic Algorithm, to optimize the inventory problem. Also, to evaluate the performance of hybrid algorithm, a comparison between the results of the proposed hybrid algorithm and the exact solutions obtained from Lingo software is provided and, finally, the results are analyzed.

Abstract:
Nowadays the use of fossil fuels as a non-renewable energy source has become a major challenge because of the pollution and the environmental impact. Substitution of biomass as an energy source and its supply chain design is the main question. Because of difficulties such as supply chain complexity, uncertainty in variables and selecting the site of bio-refineries many studies have been conducted in this regard. Studies in the field of biomass and biofuel production are described and classified. Also the strategic decisions such as choosing the sites, selecting energy conversation technology, ensuring economic, environmental, technical, and social sustainability and tactical decisions including allocating resources to productive plants, selecting transport modes, and types of warehouses are addressed in the reviewed papers. We have reviewed 140 papers in the interval between 1997 and 2016 and classified them based on the objective functions. The articles are classified based on their being single or multi objectivity, linearity or nonlinearity. Finally, a classification based on the regions in which the studies have been done.
