The mobility sector including all kinds of transportation systems are facing global challenges in re-spect of green environmental issues. There has been a paradigm shift in the concept of design and manufacturing of automotive vehicles keeping in mind the scarcity of fossil fuel and the impact of emission on environment due to burning of it. The addition of hybrid and electric vehicles in pas-senger car segment has got significant momentum to address the global challenges. This research investigates the performance of a group of hybrid vehicles from customers’ perspective. Among the different brands that are available in the hybrid vehicle market, smart customers have given pri-ority to vehicle cost, mileage, tail pipe emission, comfortness and high tank size volume for long drive. Considering these attributes, selection strategy for hybrid vehicles has been developed using entropy based multi-attributive border approximation area comparison (MABAC) method. This research highlights the best hybrid vehicle which reduces air pollution in cities with other significant environmental benefits, reduces dependence on foreign energy imports and minimizes the annual fuel cost.

This study examines whether capital structure determinations by Indonesian publicly listed firms (Tbks) are influenced by the behavioural biases of overconfidence and optimism, with the underlying rationality frameworks being framed by relevant financial information and impacted by decision-makers’ demographic attributes. Data were obtained from survey respondents and statistically analysed using partial least squares structural equation modelling to identify the indicators of causative dynamics within the hypothesised relationships. Sampled Tbks’ management (CEOs/CFOs) displayed the inherent behavioural traits of overconfidence and optimism in their capital structure determinations. However, such behavioural variables were not statistically proven to significantly influence capital structure decision-making and, hence, were not validated as capital structure determinants. The pecking order framework was revealed to have a significant framing effect on capital structure decision-making by sampled managers. Sampled managers’ demographic attributes and backgrounds were found to be capital structure determinants but did not have a mediating or moderating influence on the modelled relationship between behavioural variables and capital structure.

Modeling of a crack propagating through a finite element mesh under mixed mode conditions is of prime importance in fracture mechanics. This paper presents an application of the finite element method to the analysis of crack growth problems in linear elastic fracture mechanics and the correlation of results with experimental data. In the present study, the crack growth simulation has been numerically simulated by using the finite element source code program using Visual FORTRAN language. This code includes the mesh generator based on the advancing front method as well as all the pre and post process for the crack growth simulation under linear elastic fracture mechanics theory. The maximum circumferential stress criterion has been used for prediction of the crack growth in isotropic materials under mixed-mode loading. Furthermore, the equivalent domain integral method has been used for calculating the stress intensity factors values during crack growth. The crack grows when the stress intensity factor exceeds the fracture toughness of the material in the case of static loading. Verification of the predicted crack path is validated with relevant experimental data and numerical results obtained by other researchers with a good agreement.

Tourism village development projects have become attractive to the community during the Covid 19 Pandemic and after. This condition is caused by many people in urban areas who wish to travel to natural and indigenous cultural destinations. Tourism village development is a process that emphasizes ways to develop or advance tourist villages. Village green tourism development projects through natural and cultural destinations are expected to provide sustainable village economic sustainability. The distribution of questionnaires to obtain the potential for village tourism development was determined by the project team that will develop in identifying, assigned consultants and key people from local villages, including leaders with a total of 46 respondents. Data processing looks at the relationship between village economic sustainability and village economic sustainability through natural and cultural tourism potential using partial least squares. The data processing results show that the village tourism development project has a positive effect on nature tourism potential, cultural tourism potential, and village economic sustainability by increasing the welfare of local communities. The nature tourism potential of the village, which has attractive mountains and a reliable source of agricultural products, is capable of impacting the local community's interest. Cultural tourism potential owned by the village with attractive tourist performances on a regular and well-scheduled basis and the ability of the village to show dance performances that reveal their identity can impact the village's economic sustainability. The village green tourism development project is set in the finalization stage of project planning by considering the project completion time.

Seaweed had proven to become a fisheries commodity to provide a significant multiplier economic effect for coastal community in Southeast Maluku District during 2005-2013. However, the declining on the productivity of seaweed has given a direct impact on welfare of farmers and coastal communities in this region during the recent years, due to asymmetric information on seaweed farming associated with prices, latest technology and all pre and post production activities. Thus, forming a dedicated information centre for seaweed farming in the region has become a necessity. As small island regions, in Southeast Maluku district, farmers and all stakeholder have to deal with cliché problems such as insufficient infrastructure, lack of transportation, farmers locations that spread across the islands. This paper focused on the selection of suitable location for the information centre for seaweed farming in Southeast Maluku district, Indonesia. Analytical hierarchy process (AHP), in classical and fuzzy forms, was an approach used on this study for suitability analysis. Moreover, GIS for spatial analysis in addition to AHP was used to compare the best results for the location of information centre for seaweed farmers. The results show that fuzzy AHP could provide more suitability location compared with conventional AHP. Most of suitability locations were located in three sub-districts regions and also most of them were located in Kei Kecil Island and Kei Besar Islands due to the geographical characteristics of the region. The sensitivity analysis was conducted to measure the sensitivity of the results when the weight of each criterion was changed. The outcome of this study was to serve its purpose as an input and comparison study for a recent local government of Southeast Maluku' policy on developing seaweed farming in this region.

This study aims to determine the effect of competence of human resource, quality of information technology and organizational commitment on the successful implementation of accrual-based accounting. The sample in this study was 56 respondents who were obtained using purposive sampling technique from employees of the administration and accounting department of the Regional Finance and Assets Agency of Kendari City. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis method and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the competence of human resources, the quality of information technology and organizational commitment have a positive and significant impact on the successful implementation of accrual-based accounting in local governments. This shows that the higher the level of competence of human resources, the quality of information technology and organizational commitment, the successful implementation of accrual-based accounting in local governments will be better.

The paper is concerned with the cost reduction of the elements’ production according to the metal injection molding technology of metal powder mixtures (MIM), using the additive technologies (AT) for the production of the green part. This method allows obtaining high fidelity of the materials both in mass production and in one of a kind, and small-series production because it is not necessary to the production of expensive casting press mold of metal powder mixture on the injection molding machine. In his paper, the author showed the advantages and disadvantages of two AT technologies which directly use materials for MIM technology: the technology of fused filament fabrication (Fused Filament Fabrication – FFF) and the technology of Binder Jet (BJ). The author proposes to reduce costs reduction of manufacturing filament for 3D printing according to the FFF technology of green part using already existing feedstock as the basis. The manufacturing technology of the filament is shown by the example of the feedstock steel 316LW BASF. The specific character of the technology is a limited amount of polyoxymethylene (POM) and low-density polyethylene (LDPE) is introduced into the standard composition of the feedstock to increase its plasticity. The author presented the results of tensile testing of items manufactured by standard technology and using AT technologies. Some reduction in the strength characteristics of the items with the using AT technologies is primarily due to the printing modes. The optimization of print modes allows obtaining the properties of the items, not inferior items by standard technology.

The enterprise's system, along with households and the government are the main factors in the production and consumption of the economy, which plays an extremely important role in the development of any country. Besides the large enterprises, which are often considered as the locomotives of the economy’s development, people are increasingly interested in a significant number of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) whose position and role has been confirmed through the actual economic development of many countries and economies. In Vietnam, the development of SMEs has been creating a driving force for economic growth and has become an important strategic direction in the country’s socio-economic development strategy. The article focuses on determining the factors affecting the development of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in Vietnam. At the same time, the current paper evaluates factors affecting the development of these enterprises. The main factors expected to be focused on in the research include the level of production technology, government policies, raw materials, labor, management capacity, corporate social responsibility, green growth orientation, and global epidemics.

The study of structures in engineering solid mechanics is very often requires the modeling of complexes structures composed of two parts of thin and thick structure elements. As examples is associated with the case of stiffener under a dome and the cooling tower of the nuclear power which is supported on massive supports. In the numerical analysis, this imposes the connection between two different types of finite elements, two dimensional element for thin structures and three-dimensional elements for solid structures. Knowing that solid finite elements contain only translational degrees of freedom, whereas the finite elements of thin shells includes nodal variables of rotations, and then the number of degrees of freedom are not compatible in the junction zone between these two types of structures. This obviously causes great difficulty in solving the problem numerically. The objective of this work is to present the development of a shell finite element with no degree of freedom of rotation that can be used for the modeling of these two different types of structures and can then easily solve the shell-solid junction problem. Validation tests of the developed element are presented and the results obtained are very encouraging.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the extent to which the Intelligent Enterprise Resource Planning (I-ERP) System can be used in company operations. Machine learning is embedded in a decision tree algorithm to demonstrate the viability of intelligent technology in an ERP system and to enhance the quality of operations through an I-ERP system. The study consists of two steps. In the first step, the algorithm uses the decision tree algorithm to demonstrate the application of intelligent technology in an ERP system. In the second step, the proposed model analyzes four quality criteria related to company operations through I-ERP system in order to determine whether or not I-ERP has significant improvement on managers’ decisions. As a result, the use of I-EPR may improve the quality of operations, agile respond to market demand, increase the efficiency and the competitiveness in organizations. An illustration example is provided to demonstrate the application of I-ERP.
