Since COVID-19 became a pandemic, the global economy has been dramatically affected. Not just that, the consumer behavior in the retail market has also changed. This paper aims to examine the effect of the coronavirus crisis on consumer behavior in retail services. The paper will focus on retail banking services, especially the Jordanian banking sector. The goal of the study was achieved by conducting a survey among Jordanian consumers in the retail banking sector, which was done using questionnaires, a sample of 240 retail customers from 14 valid participants. The paper brings new insight into how the pandemic affected retail banking services and proves the acceptance of online and banking in the conceptual model. The results show that the variables around attitudes toward the internet and mobile banking were directly and positively affected by the variables related to the perception of the pandemic's impact on the consumer's lifestyle. Other variables such as the safety of using online and mobile banking services and phones also contributed to this rise in a positive attitude. The Trust in Mobile and internet banking has several administrative and social implications, which were also discussed. Because new consumption behavior models are being developed, mobile and internet services could prevail even after the later stages of the epidemic. Initiatives to provide online educational programs, especially financial courses, should be intensified by the banks in Jordan to enable their customers to be familiar with the use of the banks' online banking services. They should enhance their communication with their customers and offer new products and services while also showing flexibility while negotiating to refinance and loaning terms.

The purpose of this paper is to examine effects of hedonic and utilitarian aspects of consumer behaviour toward e-loyalty and how e-satisfaction plays a mediating role between them. A survey method was adopted to test the research model. The primary data for the survey was collected during January 2021, using the convenience sampling approach, from business school students. The structural equation modelling method was used to analyse the data with AMOS 22.0 software. The measurement model was estimated through a confirmatory factor analysis before testing the structural model framework and hypotheses (response rate 94.3%, n=264). The results showed that hedonic and utilitarian shopping values have great influence in shaping e-satisfaction. The study also highlights the importance of mediating the role of e-satisfaction between shopping values and e-loyalty. This research highlights why and how ‘satisfaction with website’ matters in the contribution of shopping values to behavioural outcomes by presenting its mediating role. The study offers implications and suggestions to e-retailers by specifying characteristics that should be given more consideration in order to increase online consumer e-satisfaction and e-loyalty. It also contributes to the present body of knowledge on shopping and buying behaviour in the online context, especially for those who have theoretical and managerial interests on the subject in emerging economies like Jordan. The novelty of the paper comes from the fact that it cumulatively captures the factors influencing online consumers’ loyalty in the Jordanian context, apart from validating the mediating role of e-satisfaction.

The aim of this study is to explore the Days sales of inventory (DSI) as an indicator for inventory management among energy companies in Saudi Arabia for the period ranging from 2012 to 2019. The results of this study indicate that Aldrees company is ranked the first in terms of managing its inventory in which the average value of the DSI for the period 2013-2019 was 5 days. The second rank in terms of the DSI value for the period 2012-2019 belongs to Bahri company in which the average DSI was 23 days. While the third rank was Petro Rabigh in which the DSI average was 31 days. The results of this study should be useful to policy makers at the company management and other external stakeholders such as investors, auditors and lenders.

E-commerce and online shopping is the future of global trade, hence the importance of building E-customer loyalty and maintaining it in the electronic markets becomes even more important. This paper attempts to identify factors affecting the value of electronic commerce in the Saudi environment. Likewise, it explores the impact of these factors on E- customer loyalty. Simple random sampling was used for the purposes of the current study, as the first study included 247 electronic customers. Data were collected through electronic questionnaires sent to the study participants. The results show that the factors had a positive impact in building E- customer loyalty Care, Character, Choice, Convenience, Customization, and Cultivation. Basically, e-commerce is considered a pioneer in business organizations today, and this is witnessed by its increasing and growing profits and expanding its market share, through its focus on the E-loyalty customers. The study aimed to highlight the role of management information system (MIS) and its components in improving the effectiveness and efficiency of e-marketing strategies in telecommunications companies in Jordan. By relying on the quantitative methodology and by dealing with the questionnaire as a research tool, 131 individuals from the marketing departments in the organizations under study responded, and after the analysis, the study demonstrated an impact of MIS and its components on e-marketing strategies by influencing how and the mechanism of data processing and presentation as information that contributes to making the most appropriate marketing decision. The study also proved that all components of MIS have an impact on e-marketing strategies, most of which were “human resources” or people, which proved that the efficiency of individuals and their ability to deal with technology carries significant effect on the effectiveness of MIS in managing and organizing e-marketing strategies. The study recommends the necessity to focus on human resources with STEM skills, namely science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in order to ensure the best outcomes of MIS.

This paper shows empirically the impact of organizational and behavioral determinants on the CEO's investment horizon choice, using artificial intelligence explanatory methods. We apply our approach to 100 Saudi firms. We test the effect of three organizational determinants: ownership concentration, board independence, and CEO remuneration system; and three behavioral determinants: myopia, the locus of control and commitment, on the CEO's investment horizon choice. The study’s key finding is that executives' commitment bias is the most important variable in terms of modal value that affects firms' long-term investment choice. We also find a positive and significant relationship between myopia and long-term investment choice, whereas the lowliest determinant of the horizon choice is the locus of control. More generally, these results show that CEOs who are likely to be the most myopic may display long-term behavior with the existence of high cognitive involvement.

This paper seeks to investigate the impact of Electronic Human Resource Management (e-HRM) practices on attaining Sustainable Competitive Advantage (SCA) in the context of the Jordanian Industrial Sector (JIS) and identify the mediating role of e-HRM Perceived Usefulness (PU) and e-HRM Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU). Furthermore, it investigates the moderating role of User Satisfaction and e-HRM Continuance Usage Intention. To achieve the paper objectives, a Mediated-Moderation Model was designed. The researchers distributed (750) questionnaires, (615) questionnaires were returned and validated for analysis in HRM and development divisions and based on a Census method with the response rate was about (82%). The ‘Structural Equation Modeling’ (SEM) methodology was used, and for analysis, SPSS and Amos were applied. The results indicated that e-HRM practices had significant influence on SCA. The paper also demonstrated that there was a significant mediate effect of TAM constructs on the relationship between e-HRM practices and SCA. Finally, the findings indicated that the user satisfaction and e-HRM continuance usage intention did not moderate the relationship between e-HRM-PEOU and PU and SCA path.

5G is a revolutionary development in network technologies which is gradually becoming very common among people contributing significantly in different fields such as education, industry, agriculture, health, tourism and military. Currently, 5G is an outbreak change as opposed to the traditional service of the Internet since it offers better quality, ultra-fast connection, low-cost, reduced latency, energy saving, which makes its great impact even greater in people’s life. The present study examines various factors that have a significant impact on the Use of 5G in the Gulf area. The study extended the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) to include factors such as Perceived Enjoyment, Perceived Resources and Perceived Skills Readiness. The present research has adopted a hybrid model that incorporates TAM determinants with other external factors which have a direct relation with 5G as internet service. Previous studies have focused on the importance of 5G in different environments and countries. However, this study focuses on the newly spread Use of 5G in the gulf area by adopting a hybrid conceptual model. The findings suggest that 5G may help in promoting the usage of internet service more effectively with its low-cost, faster data transfer and better quality. Moreover, the findings indicate a positive effect of the gender as a mediator between the variables: Perceived Skills Readiness, Perceived Ease of use, and Perceived Resources.

The development of the existing information technology era has helped the performance of BPJS more and more. The application of information technology in the work environment includes meeting the efficiency level of time and cost. The use of the internet also makes it easier for BPJS to access their services to the public and the search for new members is made easier. The world of ICT does provide a big role in society. In Indonesia itself, the prospect of ICT in future life has provided a lot of welfare for the people of Indonesia. This research was conducted in Indonesia, the sampling in this study was conducted in Jakarta. The results of research conducted showed that all hypotheses proposed in this study were accepted, especially the biggest influence was found on the attitude variable towards intention in the use of the BPJS e-payment system in Indonesia. Electronic Payment System (EPS) BPJS strives to create a social security system that is transparent and accountable to BPJS Employment participants.

The aim of this study is to explore factors affecting the adoption of blended learning strategy. Data was collected using a questionnaire consisting of 42 items, distributed to a random sample of 174 faculty members of Saudi Electronic University and Qassim University. IBM SPSS was used to conduct data analysis. Supporting research hypothesis indicates that student, institutional and learning variables had significant influences on the adoption of blended learning strategy. Considering the findings, it was concluded that the adoption of a blended learning strategy depends not only on the technological aspect of the learning process but also on people, i.e., students who are engaged in the process and motivated teachers who possess the required knowledge and skills. The most important implication of this research is that policy and decision makers in business educational schools are requested to consider factors that had a significant effect on the adoption of blended learning. In doing that, the research contributes to the blended learning knowledge via highlighting the key variables that encourage or hinder the adoption of blended learning strategy.
