Life cycle assessment: Study linkage between environment supply chain management and sustainability of supply chain Pages 179-186 PDF Download PDF

Authors: Ahmad Hidayat Sutawidjaya, Lenny Christina Nawangsari, Norashidah Mohamed Nor

doi 10.5267/j.uscm.2020.10.003

๐Ÿ”‘ Keywords: Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Environment Supply Chain Management (ESCM), Sustainability Supply Chain

Abstract:
The most significant impacts on the environment and society of corporate operations occur in the supply chain. Environmental impacts occur at different stages of the environmental life cycle and relate to the extraction of raw materials from the earth, the processing and manufacturing of building materials, the construction process, operation or use, maintenance and repair, repair and eventual disposal or reuse of materials. Environmental phenomena of climate change or global warming are the result of human practice. Global warming causes an increase in ocean temperatures and surface of the book, causing melting of polar ice caps and rising sea levels. Another phenomenon of waste and sewage problems has become a national and international problem. Every supply chain activity in a series of production activities has an impact on the environment. Supply chains can have different organizational structures that reflect business relationships or the level of collaboration between chain companies. This study examines the relationship of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) with Environment Supply Chain Management (ESCM) and Sustainability Supply Chain in Manufacture in Indonesia.

doi 10.5267/j.ijdns.2021.2.004

๐Ÿ”‘ Keywords: GHRM, Service Quality, Hospital, Digitalization, SOE Hospital

Abstract:
Health services, especially hospitals, are facing significant changes in the industrial era 4.0. Hospital digitization is responsible for building green hospitals and improving service quality in the era of modern technology. Green Human Resources Management (GHRM) is becoming known as the HRM concept that encourages employee commitment and environmental aspects. GHRM is an HR management system suitable for organizations, including hospitals that have a significant environmental impact. Hospitals are very dependent on the quality of service provided to their customers. GHRM as a management model in hospitals is very important to encourage hospital digitization and service quality. This research was conducted to answer the gap in hospital research in seeing the effect of GHRM on service quality in digitizing hospitals in the industrial era 4.0. GHRM and Service Quality is used in the healthcare industry to test its application in hospitals in Indonesia. They are using the SEM PLS method, a variant-based structural equation analysis that focuses on predictive models, to look for predictive linear relationships between variables to process data for 1004 respondents from 19 State-Owned Enterprises' hospitals throughout Indonesia. This research can an-swer research gaps related to the effect of GHRM on Service Quality and Hospital Digitalization in Indonesia.
