Digital finance plays a major role in achieving financial inclusion targets which have a positive impact on economic growth and people's welfare. One of the main elements of digital finance is digital payments, which are increasingly playing a role with the presence of e-commerce and financial technology (fintech). Apart from these positive impacts, digital finance is also feared to have a negative impact on financial system stability, especially in relation to systematic risk. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of risk factors in digital financial relations and financial stability. The research method used is the Multiple Linear Regression Model and Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA), using 120 samples of panel data for 10 years (2010 to 2019). The results show that market risk can moderate the influence of digital finance on financial stability, so that increased systematic risk will reduce the positive impact of digital finance on financial stability.

This study aims to determine the relationship between financial distress and systematic risk, the relationship between financial distress and profitability, the relationship between systematic risk and stock returns, the relationship between profitability and stock returns, and the indirect effect between financial distress and stock returns through systematic risk and company profitability. by collecting data on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on chemical companies and the element industry in 2018-2020. This study was conducted to find out the answers to the impact caused by the global economic turmoil. Using the PLS-SEM method and four latent variables, which are divided into one endogenous variable, two moderating variables and one exogenous variable, it is hoped that it can provide value for the statistical calculation activities carried out. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method with two moderating variables that link financial distress and stock returns. This study produces a specific indirect effect; the financial distress variable significantly impacts Stock Return through systematic risk and profitability variables with a p-value < 0.05. The main finding of this study is the significant impact of world economic turmoil that must be faced by creating systematic risk to convince. Investors and provide education to potential investors.

This paper investigates the relationship between financial ratios and indicator of systemic risk in the Tehran Stock Exchange. The study selects 73 manufacturing companies of the Tehran Stock Exchange market over the period 2003-2010. The study first calculates the independent variables in the form of financial ratios and then the ratios affecting the systematic risk index are extracted using entropy method. The output of this stage is the introduction of five influential financial indicators as the independent variables of the study. Using t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient the rate of independent variables effect on the systematic risk index is evaluated and finally, using stepwise regression method, the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable is examined. According to results of our survey, the correlation coefficient of such indices as “the ratio of stock price to the profit of each share”, “Current ratio”, “each share profit ratio” and “the stockholders rights return ratio” have respectively the highest correlation with the systematic risk index.

Return of Investment has always been an interesting area of research among academics as well as investors. Although capital asset pricing model (CAPM) is capable of estimating risk of investment, many people argue that CAPM is not able to predict long-term return, properly. This paper presents an empirical investigation to find the effects of different financial figures including systematic risk (Beta), size of firm, ratio of book value to market share, volume of trade and the ratio of price/earnings (P/E) on return of private banks in Iran. The study gathers the necessary information over the period 2005-2011 from private banks in Iran. The study uses multiple regression technique to find the effects of mentioned variables on return of private banks. The results indicate that there are some meaningful and positive relationship between return of banks and systematic risk (Beta), size, volume of trade and P/E. The study also finds some meaningful and reverse relationship between bank return and book value on market value.

One of the primary concerns on stock market is the risk associated with securities. There are different attempts devoted to detect and reduce any existing risk and provide necessary action to reduce them as much as possible. In this paper, we study the relationship between quality of earnings and systematic risk as well as cost of capital. The proposed study of this paper uses the information of 150 firms listed on Tehran Stock Exchange and using multiple regression technique examines two hypotheses based on yearly information over the period 2006-2010. The results of our survey indicate that as the quality of earnings increase, the risk as well as the cost of capital decrease.

Financial statements are considered as primary sources of information for most investors to make investment decisions. A crystal clear and comprehensive annual report helps many interested parties about the performance of any business unit. However, many rules and regulations ask management teams of organizations to provide quarterly financial results. In this paper, we perform an empirical investigation to study the effects of quarterly financial reports on three ratios including systematic risk, return on assets and firm size. The proposed study gathers the necessary data from 72 firms listed on Tehran Stock Exchange over the period of 2000-2006. The study determined the performances of these 72 firms before and after the releases of three quarterly reports and using Freedman test determined whether there were any meaningful differences between two groups of data or not. The results of Freedman test indicate that there were not any meaningful differences between stock performance and systematic risk before and after quarterly results. The survey also examines the relationship between systematic risk and size of firms using Pearson correlation test and the results indicate there were some meaningful differences size and systematic risk.
