DOI: 10.5267/j.dsl.2025.10.009

Keywords: Industrial robots, Human Labor, Industrial Production Sector, Sustainable Growth

Abstract:
The study aims to develop a model for replacing human labor with industrial robots in the industrial production sector to promote sustainable growth. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining qualitative interviews with nine experts and quantitative analysis based on survey data from 500 industrial enterprises. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) confirmed that government policies, industrial Readiness, integration cooperation, and production potential are key determinants of successful robot adoption. Government policy exerted the most substantial direct influence on industrial Readiness and integration cooperation, which, in turn, positively affected production potential. The results emphasize the importance of collaborative strategies between public institutions, educational organizations, and private enterprises to enhance workforce capability and technological preparedness. The proposed Automated Robot–Human Labor Industrial Replacement (ARHLIR) Model offers both theoretical and practical implications for policymakers and industry leaders. The integration of policy support, organizational Readiness, and cooperative networks ensures that automation drives competitiveness, innovation, and long-term sustainability.

Authors: J.E. Sutanto, Eric Harianto, Denpharanto Agung Krisprimandoyo, Nilay Balkan

DOI: 10.5267/j.uscm.2024.2.008

Keywords: Small Retail Stores, Sustainable growth, SMSMEs, Supply Chain Performance, Retail Industry

Abstract:
This study aims to investigate the integration of suppliers and customers with the role of trust (TR) as a mediator on supply chain performance in small retail stores. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling to represent the total sample used, 170 outlets or respondents and data analysis using programs with SmarPLS. The finding of this study stated that the effect of supplier integration (SI) on customer integration (CI) and the effect of CI in addition to TR and on SCP are all stated to have a positive and significant effect. However, Customer Integration has a negative and not significant effect on supply chain performance (SCP) through TR. Novelty of this study is the implementation of supply chain integration for development in the retail business sector, especially in Indonesia. Then, this study shows integration as a communication aspect of collaboration between companies. Implication of this study is useful for franchise management and small retail shop owners in mutually beneficial collaboration in developing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMSMEs) so that their businesses can develop, survive and be sustainable growth in the future.

Enabling tribal heritage entrepreneurship in Jharkhand: An exploratory study on current status and influencing factors for sustainable growth Pages 83-96 Right click to download the paper Download PDF

Authors: Himanshu Gupta, Shashank Bansal, Rakesh Kumar

DOI: 10.5267/j.jfs.2026.3.002

Keywords: Tribal Heritage, Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Growth, Culture, BWM-ISM

Abstract:
Tribal heritage in Jharkhand holds immense potential not just as a cultural asset but as a foundation for sustainable, community-led entrepreneurship. This paper examines the major issues that can help the tribal societies transform their cultural heritage into legitimate business enterprises. Based on the domain, the study makes use of the Best-Worst Method (BWM) to rank significant enablers. It applies Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) and MICMAC analysis to discover the structural relationship between them. It is indicated that although the availability of natural resources, indigenous knowledge, and governmental support serve as the foundations of tribal enterprise, psychological preparedness and market access are the key factors in the long-term development. Interestingly, cultural values and education are also discovered as highly ingrained factors that determine an entrepreneurial intent and sustainability. The paper illuminates the multifaceted nature of the problems tribal entrepreneurs have to encounter, such as geographical remoteness and the changing demands of consumers, but also shows the opportunity to interfere by making specific changes. Through mapping of these enablers and their linkage, this study will provide a practical framework to be used by policymakers, NGOs, and local stakeholders to enable and expand tribal entrepreneurship in Jharkhand. Finally, it promotes the model of development in which cultural pride and economic empowerment must go hand in hand.
