๐Ÿ”‘ Keywords: Freight Forwarding Services, Desire, Outcome Expectations, Perceived Self-Efficacy, Actual Usage, Attitude

Abstract:
This study investigates the factors influencing the actual usage of freight forwarding services in Indonesia, focusing on the roles of desire, outcome expectancy, and perceived self-efficacy, with delivery risk and perceived trust acting as moderating factors. Grounded in Social Cognitive Theory (SCT), this study examines how personal cognitive factors and external risks influence users' attitudes and behaviors toward freight forwarding services. Data were collected from 616 respondents across Jakarta, Surabaya, and Makassar utilizing a structured questionnaire. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was employed to test the hypothesized relationships. The findings reveal that desire significantly influences both attitude and delivery risk, while attitude has a strong direct effect on actual usage. Outcome expectancy and perceived self-efficacy demonstrated weaker effects, particularly on attitudes, suggesting that other factors, such as trust and risk perceptions, play a more significant role in this context. Additionally, delivery risk was found to moderate the relationship between desire and attitude, while perceived trust did not moderate the link between attitude and actual usage. The research underscores the importance of trust-building and risk mitigation strategies for freight forwarding service providers in Indonesia. The study also provides theoretical contributions by applying SCT to the logistics sector and offers practical implications for enhancing service adoption in emerging markets.

๐Ÿ”‘ Keywords: Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Trust, Security, Attitude, Intention, Actual Usage, Digital Wallet

Abstract:
Since smartphones are so common, digital wallets have developed swiftly to fulfill the demands of a contemporary culture that promotes mobility and streamlines transaction processes. This study's objective is to clarify consumer behavior in Indonesia's adoption of digital wallets. This study was carried out in Jakarta involving 360 respondents. This study analyzes using a structural equation model (SEM) with LISREL software tools. The results of this study explain that perceived ease of use, trust, security, and intention are important in increasing the actual usage of digital wallet users in Indonesia. The practical implications of this study are useful for comparing perceived scores on various antecedents of digital wallet adoption. The study identifies potential differences in perceptions of the elements influencing the adoption of digital wallets in Jakarta, particularly among the younger generation, which makes up the bulk of respondents. The success or failure of digital wallets depends on a variety of ecosystem components as well as consumer-related factors.

Abstract:
Nowadays, transactions on e-commerce platforms (e-payment) utilizing a credit card are popular. Using credit cards for electronic purchases over the Internet is much different from offline purchases in traditional stores; only online transactions do not include either physical credit card or a signature. The e-payment has become a common mode of payment for online transactions made. It is an electronic billing system that gives clients the ability to make payments using the Internet. The objective of this paper was to analyze the associations among continuance intention e-payment, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, performance expectancy, social influence, and actual usage of e-payment. The data was tested empirically on data collected from 667 Generation Z e-payment users in Malaysia. The results found that facilitating conditions, performance expectancy, and social influence impacted the actual usage of e-payment. Surprisingly, effort expectancy was not significantly associated with the actual e-payment usage. The findings of this study have several implications for managers and point the way towards future research. No prior empirical study has investigated the role of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology model on e-payment usage among Generation Z in Malaysia to the best of the authorsโ€™ knowledge. These results provide valuable contributions that can help decision-makers formulate or adjust their strategies associated with e-payments.
