The economy of Bali heavily relies on the tourism sector, leading to economic vulnerability. There are numerous challenges in Bali's economy, with COVID-19 being one of the most prominent examples. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bali's economy experienced the deepest contraction and slowest recovery compared to other provinces in Indonesia. Amid this economic vulnerability, it is important to conduct research on the financial resilience of SMEs in Bali. This research aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy on financial resilience, as well as the mediating role of financial performance and fintech adoption on the impact of financial literacy on financial resilience among SMEs in Bali. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a sample of 177 SMEs in Bali, selected through non-probability sampling techniques. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, with SEM-PLS in SmartPLS 3.0 program. The test results indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant influence on financial resilience, financial performance, and fintech adoption. Financial performance and fintech adoption also have a positive and significant impact on financial resilience. Furthermore, financial performance and fintech adoption can partially mediate the influence of financial literacy on financial resilience in SMEs in Bali. The findings of this research are beneficial for the development of Knowledge-Based View theory and Technology Acceptance Model, as well as for SMEs in Bali and the government as policy makers in efforts to enhance financial resilience.

The research objective was to analyze the effect of financial literacy and digital literacy on financial inclusion, financial decisions, and financial resilience of MSME's. The design of this research is explanatory quantitative research. The research is a cross-sectional study in which all research variables are measured and observed at one point in time. The sampling technique used is area purposive sampling. The reachable population in this study was 98,567 MSMEs in the Province of Bali, and the research sample was 385. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The analysis technique used is a descriptive and inferential analysis using SEM-PLS. The findings of this research reveal 1) a direct positive and significant effect of financial literacy and digital literacy on financial inclusion, financial decisions, and financial resilience of MSMEs; 2) a positive and significant effect of financial literacy and digital literacy on financial resilience of MSMEs through financial inclusion and financial decisions parallelly; and 3) a positive effect of financial literacy and digital literacy on financial resilience of MSMEs through financial inclusion and financial decisions serially, but the effect of digital literacy on financial resilience through financial inclusion and financial decisions serially is insignificant. The findings of this research show the crucial role of financial literacy and digital literacy in increasing financial resilience. Financial inclusion and financial decisions mediate the effect of financial literacy and digital literacy on financial resilience.

The present study aims to assess and scrutinize the impact of market power and revenue diversification on the level of Non-Performing Loans (NPL), which serves as an indicator of banking stability, through profitability during the COVID-19 pandemic. The population of interest includes all non-Sharia commercial banking institutions listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020 to 2022. A purposive sampling method was employed, resulting in a total of 264 observations. The data analysis was performed using panel data regression with the assistance of EViews version 10 software. The findings of this research reveal a direct positive and significant influence of market power and revenue diversification on bank profitability, as well as a direct negative and significant impact of market power, revenue diversification, and bank profitability on NPL. A noteworthy result derived from this study is the partial mediating role of profitability in the relationship between market power, revenue diversification, and NPL. Consequently, it is concluded that market power and revenue diversification play a pivotal role in enhancing profitability, mitigating credit risk, and ultimately improving banking stability. This study lends support to the non-structural approach of NEIO (New Empirical Industrial Organization), the Competition Fragility theory, and the Product Portfolio Theory. However, it is important to acknowledge the limitations of this research, such as the focus solely on non-Sharia banking institutions due to their distinct characteristics compared to conventional commercial banks, as well as data constraints.

This study examines the effect of tax disputes on firm value with industry profiles as a moderator. The population of this study is non-financial companies that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and disclosed tax disputes during the 2014-2019 period. The purposive sampling technique was applied, and 292 observations were obtained. A mixed-method approach is used in this study. First, a panel data regression analysis was performed using a tool called EViews 12. Second, to deepen the empirical nature of this research, and with the results of the panel data regression analysis having already been obtained, tax consultants who have legal power of attorney at the tax court were invited to a focus group discussion (FGD) that was held in Bali. The results of this study find that tax disputes have a negative effect on firm value. This study also demonstrates that an industry having a high profile weakens the negative effect of tax disputes on firm value. The research findings provide an understanding of tax disputes, firm values, and industry profiles within the framework of signaling theory and legitimacy theory. The limitation of this research is that it does not discuss typical tax dispute cases (whether material disputes or judicial disputes) due to data limitations.

The Village Credit Institution (LPD) is an organization of micro finance which is in the scope of Balinese traditional villages. More specifically, LPDs whose members are indigenous people are very strong with a culture that grows and develops in society, so that activities in achieving organizational goals can be achieved through collaboration of cultural capital. The desired achievement describes organizational structure, cultural capital, and credit risk in improving financial performance which places cultural capital as a moderating variable in LPD in Bali. Quantitative methods are used in this study, namely selecting specific cases on the structure of the role of cultural capital for the organization. Quantitative data processing using SEM-PLS, the number of samples includes 100 respondents obtained through a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that cultural capital plays an important role in LPD activities, especially related to organizational structure, credit risk, efficiency, and financial performance. Even though in a pandemic condition, the LPD spends to provide massive assistance, this proves that the LPD is a hybrid organization which also emphasizes a social perspective with an emphasis on wisdom. Novelty raised in this research is the emergence of collaboration patterns between LPDs and customers in the framework of common interests. This research has implications for LPD as a reference for positive perspectives on the role of cultural capital on organizational dynamics. Furthermore, this research can provide input to local governments that local regulations are needed that can assess social activities carried out by LPDs.

This study aims to analyze the impact of fundamental and technical factors on firm value with investment decisions as a mediating variable. The samples were 12 companies at agricultural sector in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The results show that leverage had a negative and significant effect on investment decisions and firm value. Profitability and trading volume had a positive and significant effect on investment decisions and firm value. Previous stock prices did not have any significant effect on investment decisions but a positive and significant effect on firm value. Investment decisions had a positive and significant effect on firm value. Leverage had a negative and significant effect on firm value through investment decisions. Profitability and stock trading volume had a positive and significant effect on firm value through investment decisions. Previous stock prices did not have any significant effect on firm value through investment decisions.
