Abstract:
Rapid global economic expansion and ongoing technological advancements have made digital transformation an essential tactic for businesses looking to boost their competitiveness and accomplish sustainable development. The study aims to explore how digital transformation (DT) indirectly affects the sustainable supply chain performance (SSCP) of fresh-cut flower supply chains in Yunnan Province through organizational readiness (OR) and innovation capability (IC) and to examine the moderating role of technology readiness (TR) in this process. This study adopted the survey method of the questionnaire, and the final valid sample was 354. Based on the RBV and the philosophy of sustainable development, the PLS-SEM approach is used in this study to assess the fresh-cut flower supply chain in Yunnan Province. It was found that OR and IC played a significant mediating role in DT and SSCP. Furthermore, the link between DT and OR, IC and SSCP, was significantly moderated by TR. The empirical results suggest that high technological readiness and innovativeness help firms assimilate and apply new technologies faster and thus achieve better results in digital transformation. This paper provides valuable guidance for firms and policymakers, suggesting active investment in digital technologies and infrastructure development, and focusing on the combination of innovation capability and sustainability to promote the sustainable development of agricultural supply chains.

Abstract:
Recognizing the critical importance of worker technical capability and the work environment is a pressing need to enhance employee performance within a power plant. Prioritizing the improvement of worker capabilities and fostering favorable work environments is urgently required for project managers to align their workforce with project objectives and enhance overall operational results. This study aims to explore the impact of key operational and human resource management (HRM) practices on the performance of the Tanjung Jati B Steam Power Plant in Jepara, Indonesia. A sample of 110 employees was selected through a simple random sampling method, and data analyzed by multiple regression analysis with SPSS software. The results reveal significant effects of work ability, work discipline, and work environment and employee performance. Furthermore, an ANOVA test underscores that these three independent variables collectively have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. This research emphasizes the critical role of HRM practices and operational aspects in enhancing power plant performance. In the context of project management, these findings highlight the significance of developing and maintaining a workforce with the necessary skills, discipline, and conducive work environments to ensure the successful execution of operational success of a power plant. By comprehending the impact of worker technical capability on employee performance, project managers can make informed decisions and implement strategies to enhance project outcomes.

Abstract:
This study examined the impact of activity-based Costing ABC and information technology IT on decision-making and competitive advantage in Sudanese industrial projects. The experimental results of this study were based on a questionnaire administered to accountants and administrators in 61 industrial projects in Sudan, and the data were analyzed using partial least squares. The study's results indicate that using activity-based costing and information technology methods in determining costs, evaluating company profits, and approximating product costs positively affects managerial decisions while improving the competitive advantage of industrial projects. The use of activity-based Costing and information technology affects decision-making and competitive advantage in industrial projects in Sudan. The study recommended that continuous training helps obtain the benefits of using activity-based Costing and information technology in industrial projects. The results show that the result gained from using activity-based Costing and information technology in determining costs, decision-making, and expanding competitive advantage has been affected by attending training programs, gradually, based on learning the capabilities of the activity-based costing system and the information technology system.

Abstract:
The present study evaluated the relationships between IT application and KM practice adoption, and project performance. KM practice adoption as a mediator in the relationship between IT application and project performance, was ascertained. A research model was constructed and validated utilizing structural equation modeling (SEM). Results of analyses demonstrated a positive relationship between IT application levels and knowledge management levels of projects. Also, high-level knowledge management contributes to project outcomes. Full mediation of KM practice adoption on the effects of IT application on project performance was affirmed.

Abstract:
The Indonesian manufacturing industry contributes significantly to economic growth in the globalization era. The capability of company leaders to manage excellently determines manufacturing's competitiveness and sustainable performance to survive in current conditions. This study examines the impact of management style and supply chain coordination on operational performance through lean project adoption. The research surveyed manufacturing companies in Indonesia by distributing questionnaires with Google form links to industry practitioners. The survey obtained 172 manufacturing companies with purposive sampling, which is at least the staff level in the company and permanent employees. Data processing is carried out by structural equation modeling and meets the goodness of fitness. The processing results showed that management style influenced internal supply chain coordination by 0.729, external supply chain coordination by 0.221, and lean project manufacture by 0.152. The company's internal supply chain coordination impacts increased external supply chain coordination by 0.512, lean project manufacture by 0.375, and operational performance by 0.405. External supply chain coordination impacted the increase in lean project manufacturing by 0.396. and operational performance of 0.234. Lean project manufacturing in the company impacts operational performance by 0.172. The practical contribution of the research provides insight into supervisors and managers always to be consistent and committed to lean manufacturing practices and build strong internal and external coordination. The theoretical contribution of research can enrich the theory of a resource-based view with sustainable supply chain and leadership transformation.

Abstract:
This study aims to analyze the influence of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) dimensions (financial, customer, internal processes, and learning and growth) on Total Quality Management (TQM), with sustainability performance as a mediating variable. The study utilized a cross-sectional survey method, distributing 400 questionnaires to employees in the service projects in KSA. Out of these, 340 questionnaires were deemed valid for final analysis. Data analysis was conducted using the SmartPls program. The study found that all BSC dimensions, except for the learning and growth dimension, had a negative direct effect on TQM, and the BSC dimensions through sustainability performance positively affected TQM, except for the learning and growth dimension. The main contribution of the research is to identify the BSC dimensions that best predict TQM in service projects in Saudi Arabia. The extended model test shows that sustainability performance is a good mediator in the causal relationship between the BSC dimensions and TQM. Future research can validate these findings in projects such as capital construction and industrial projects using a longitudinal survey design. Organizations can apply these research findings by leveraging the Balanced Scorecard as a management framework for predicting and improving TQM.

Abstract:
This study investigates whether gender differences exist in the levels of sustainable project management competencies and awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 9 (Resilient Infrastructure) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), among College of Business students at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. A questionnaire was employed to assess six key sustainable competencies: communication, leadership, management, cognitive ability, effectiveness, and professionalism. The sample consisted of 63 students from diverse business disciplines, including accounting, finance, management information systems, and human resources. The questionnaire was developed based on an extensive review of the literature and validated by experienced educators. Data analysis included descriptive statistics and the Mann-Whitney U test to examine gender differences in competency levels and SDG awareness. The findings reveal significant gender differences, with female students demonstrating higher mean ranks across all competencies and SDG awareness compared to their male counterparts. These results suggest that gender may play a significant role in the development of sustainable project management competencies and the understanding of global sustainability challenges. This study contributes to the literature by offering valuable insights into how gender influences students’ potential to engage with SDGs, particularly SDG 9 and SDG 11. The findings emphasize the importance of incorporating sustainable project management competencies into academic curricula to enhance students' awareness of SDGs, and they highlight the need for gender-sensitive educational strategies that promote inclusive sustainability education.

Abstract:
Digital transformation refers to technological application with a comprehensive shift in corporate governance's mindset, structure, and strategy. In particular, digital transformation project management is key in ensuring that digital transformation initiatives are implemented on schedule and achieve the set goals. This study investigates the importance of a leader's project management competence and other internal factors in successfully implementing digital transformation projects. Through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data collected from questionnaires administered to 436 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam shows that all four internal factors included in the model directly affect the transform digital ability and indirectly affects the level of digital transformation of SMEs, in which the most decisive influence comes from digital transformation strategy, followed by the influence of corporate culture, technology platform and finally workforce competence. More specifically, this study has demonstrated that an enterprise's digital transformation can be considered a project, and the leader's project management competence determines the project's success. The project management capacity of the enterprise leaders not only directly affects the digital transformation results but also plays a positive moderator in the association between digital transformation capability and the digital transformation level of SMEs. The results suggest several recommendations for leaders of SMEs in Thanh Hoa Province to improve project management capacity, thereby promoting the digital transformation process.

Abstract:
This study presents a comprehensive framework for Project Risk Management (PRM), tailored specifically for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. Addressing gaps in traditional risk assessment methodologies, the proposed approach integrates advanced techniques for risk identification, analysis, and evaluation based on risk characteristics. A three-stage framework is proposed utilizing the Delphi method for risk identification and contextualization of risks, the risk analysis stage employs the Fuzzy Level-Based Weight Assessment (F-LBWA) method to achieve fuzzy weights for risk characteristics which the risks will be evaluated by. The final evaluation stage uses the Fuzzy Combined Compromise Solution (F-CoCoSo) method to rank risks, categorizing them as threats, opportunities, or hybrids. A case study of an EPC project demonstrates the framework’s practical application, highlighting construction-phase risks as the most critical threats (negative risks) while also emphasizing opportunities (positive risks) which can be exploited. By incorporating fuzzy logic and innovative Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) methods, the framework provides a flexible and robust tool for modern PRM.

Abstract:
The main objective of the present research is to evaluate the influence between just-in-time technique (JIT) and total quality management TQM in project performance evaluation (PPE) in the paint industry; and to identify the important factors that should be considered for the successful application of JIT in project management in the paint industry ar Riyadh Governorate. A questionnaire was distributed to administrators, economists and accountants in the paint industry. The study used the partial least squares program for analysis purposes. The results indicated that the just-in-time technique has a positive impact on the evaluation of project performance in the balanced scorecard in its dimensions (financial, customers and internal operations), and a negative impact on the growth and learning dimension. The results also revealed a positive impact of total quality management on the evaluation of project performance in all dimensions of the balanced scorecard, and it plays an important mediating role in improving the impact of total quality management on the evaluation of performance by the balanced scorecard.
