The integration of blockchain technology into estate governance has the potential to revolutionize transparency, efficiency, and security in estate management. Traditional governance structures often grapple with inefficiencies, lack of transparency, and security issues in estate management. This paper comprehensively explores the impact of blockchain on estate governance, and then risk management and business sustainability. This research centers on the role of risk management on business sustainability to mediate and moderate the effect of estate governance on business sustainability. The results indicate that effective real estate governance positively affects risk management practices in real estate. However, both real estate governance and risk management contribute to business sustainability. Moreover, there are still gaps in the literature that require further investigation. Where policymakers and practitioners can develop informed strategies to strengthen governance structures, mitigate risks, and promote sustainable practices in real estate; Thus, promoting long-term success and resilience in the real estate industry. It is worth noting that future research should focus on empirical testing of the proposed hypotheses to provide a better understanding of these dynamics and their implications for risk management that can affect business sustainability.

In the context of fintech and industrial revolution 4.0, the banking system worldwide has significantly developed mobile banking services at a great pace in order to promote economic performance. The aim of this analysis is to estimate factors that impact on the customers' use of mobile-banking services in the typical case in Vietnam nowadays. Using a sample data of 420 questionnaires covering in 2020, the results indicate that brand and social influence have greatly impacted on the customers' use of mobile-banking services. A greater bank’s brand and social influence is positively related to a greater the customers' use of mobile-banking services. In addition, transaction risk has a negative impact on decisions to use mobile-banking services. Vietnam should enhance the risk management in the banking sector in order to maintain sustainable development in the long run.

This paper presents an empirical investigation to study the effects of different factors influencing on accomplishment of projects in Iranian oil industry. The proposed study designs a questionnaire consists of 50 questions in Likert scale with seven factors including sanctions, economy, scheduling, contractor management weaknesses, cultural/social, force majeure and contractee. The study considers the effects of these factors in three categories; namely risk of project scheduling, risk in project cost and risk in management weakness. Using structural equation modeling, the study confirms that all three factors influence on the success of oil projects. In other words, The results have indicated that budgeting as well as cost accounting is the most important factor in accomplishment of oil projects followed by weakness in management and having an appropriate scheduling.

The construction process is inherently prone to risks. Risk management is an essential and integral part of project management on all construction projects. Risk analysis is one of the core components of risk management that enables professionals to quantify and analyze risks that may pose potential threats to project performance in terms of various parameters. This research was conducted to identify and analyze risks associated with residential construction in Bangalore. In this study, risk and its impact on time and cost was identified and analyzed. Schedule impacts of project risks were supplemented by conducting quantitative risk analysis such as Monte Carlo simulation and sensitivity analysis using the Primavera risk analysis software. In case of cost, the cost variance was found out and mitigation measures were given. Thus, by effectively managing the risks, organization has more timely, comprehensive and deeper understanding of risks which in turn facilitates better decision making and confidence to take on new ventures or even to accept higher level of risk.

Distinguishing and diminishing risks in today’s projects are crucial for project success. Almost every project is facing several risks throughout the project timeline. Construction projects in Finland are also facing project risks due to the complexity of the project. To minimize the impact of risks, an effective risk management approach must be incorporated into every project which also includes the effectiveness and measurement of its performance. Managing the risks is an important job but measuring the RM performance is crucial. Thus, the objective of this study is to analyze the risk management (RM) and risk management performance measurement (RMPM) through an indepth empirical analysis of two complex construction projects of Finland. To achieve the objective, a qualitative case study is followed by the authors of this article to identify the RM processes, major and minor risks of the projects, RM strategies to mitigate them and RM performance measurement strategies. Overall, this article provides a comparative analysis of RM and RMPM for construction projects and it can be used as a basis for further research into RM perspective in complex construction projects.

The complexity and vulnerability of supply chains in today's globalized economy have heightened the significance of understanding and managing disruptions. Supply chain disruptions, ranging from natural disasters to pandemics, can lead to substantial delays, increased costs, and reduced quality, thereby impacting the operational performance and stability of businesses. Considering the theoretical sophistication and substantial relevance of the field, this research seeks to conduct an extensive bibliometric analysis of supply chain disruption. The goal is to offer a thorough summary of recent advancements and ongoing progress in this specific area. Additionally, it aims to pinpoint emerging research patterns that can guide future studies. We performed a bibliometric review of the structure and global trends of disruptions among supply chains, from 1996 to 2024 using techniques such as analysis of (1) the dataset, (2) sources, (3) authors, (4) countries and institutions, (5) documents, and (6) keywords. A total of 1356 bibliographic records from Web of Science databases were analyzed to generate the study’s research data through Scientometrics networks. The paper concludes by discussing the strengths and limitations of the study and suggesting potential avenues for future research, aiming to guide and inform future studies in this critical area of supply chain management. The findings of this study will enhance understanding of the prevailing patterns in this topic, thus laying the groundwork for future research initiatives in this field.

This paper determines and ranks financial risk factors in Iranian corporations, using analytical hierarchy process (AHP). The present research includes one main question and four sub- questions. Its universe population includes managers, production and financial personnel of great corporations activating in Tehran Stock Exchange, who were selected to explain importance and weight of economic risks indices. The source of great corporations recognition is the Companies Registration Organization in Tehran Province, and according to this, there are 120 corporations. The results have indicated that financing risk maintains the highest priority followed by credit risk, liquidity risk, inflation risk and exchange risk. In terms of different risks associated with financing risk, risk of profit per share has been the number one priority followed by the risk of divisional profit per share, the risk of recessionary or boom and the risk of increasing partial pay profit rate. In terms of credit risk, the risk of loan has been number one priority followed by the risk of inability of loan payment and interest payment. Liquidity risk is another risk factor where demand has been the most important factor followed by rules and regulations and inflation risk. In terms of inflation, producers price risk has been the most important factor followed by consumer price risk, gross domestic product and producers price risk. Finally, in terms of different factors influencing exchange risk, export related issues are considered as the most important factors.

This study aims to investigate the effect of risk management on earnings volatility on shares of banks listed in Tehran Stock Exchange. The statistical population includes all 20 listed banks in Tehran Stock Exchange over the period 2009-2015. As the number of listed banks in Tehran Stock Exchange was limited, census method and multiple regressions in panel data were used to collect the data and to test the hypotheses, respectively. In this study, earnings volatility was calculated given in Dichev and Tang (2009) [Dichev, I. D., & Tang, V. W. (2009). Earnings volatility and earnings predictability. Journal of Accounting and Economics, 47(1), 160-181.]. The results indicate that the coefficient of risk management was -0.20 with Sig. = 0.002; therefore risk management maintains a negative effect on banks’ profitability volatility. In addition, stock return coefficient is 0.0053 (Sig. = 0.000) which indicates a positive effect on earnings volatility. The coefficients of dividend ratio, firm size and liquidity ratio were 0.023, 0.071 and 0.059, respectively and they have significant and positive effect on earnings volatility.

During the past few years, there have been several studies for portfolio management. One of the primary concerns on any stock market is to detect the risk associated with various assets. One of the recognized methods in order to measure, to forecast, and to manage the existing risk is associated with Value at Risk (VaR), which draws much attention by financial institutions in recent years. VaR is a method for recognizing and evaluating of risk, which uses the standard statistical techniques and the method has been used in other fields, increasingly. The present study has measured the value at risk of 26 companies from chemical industry in Tehran Stock Exchange over the period 2009-2011 using the simulation technique of Monte Carlo with 95% confidence level. The used variability in the present study has been the daily return resulted from the stock daily price change. Moreover, the weight of optimal investment has been determined using a hybrid model called Markowitz and Winker model in each determined stocks. The results showed that the maximum loss would not exceed from 1259432 Rials at 95% confidence level in future day.

Risk management in construction industry in several cases is not only incomplete regarding the unification of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) hazards, but it is also incomplete in not having a systematic and innovative method to assess the impacts of these risks on the objectives of a project. An integrated hybrid Fuzzy Inference System-Latin Hypercube Simulation for the evaluation of OHS risks in construction projects is presented in this paper. Prioritization of safety risks systematically without human interference with fuzzy inference system gives the appropriate response to the identified risks. An advanced Monte Carlo simulation is also used for the evaluation of quantitative objectives of a project. This approach allows us to get away from discrimination and simulate the risks with high impacts but with low probabilities. In order to measure the relationship between the occurrences of each of the risks impacts on project objectives, the sensitivity analysis based on Pearson correlation coefficient is used to determine the usefulness of the proposed integrated hybrid method.
