Abstract:
This study aims at improving the understandings of the relationship between transformational lead-ership style and employee job satisfaction, considering the gender as the moderator and perceived organizational politics and perceived organizational commitment as mediators among the banking sector employees in North Cyprus. The data were collected through a self-completed questionnaire which was distributed randomly to bank employees in five districts of North Cyprus in 2018. A total of 400 questionnaires were returned and utilized to conduct regression analysis which suggested a positive relationship between transformational leadership and employee satisfaction. The findings also indicated that the perceived organizational politics and organizational commitment did play a mediating role on the relationship between transformational leadership style and employee satisfaction. Perception of organizational politics and perceived organizational commitment have an impact of the overall employees’ satisfaction. As suggested by our finding, female and male leaders adopt transformational leadership skills in different ways causing various effects on the level of satisfaction of their employees.

Abstract:
Prior research has indicated that employee turnover is detrimental to both individuals and organisations. Because a turnover intention in the workplace is detrimental, several factors have been suggested to better understand the reasons why employees may decide to leave their organisations. Some of the organizational-related factors that have been considered by previous research include perceived organizational justice, job satisfaction, perceived psychological contract breach, and perceived organizational support, among others. Despite these empirical studies, literatures indicate that less attention has been paid to the influence of perceived organisational politics, organizational trust, and perceived human resource practices management (HRM) practices on employee turnover. Hence, the present study fills in the gap by examining the relationship between perceived organisational politics, organizational trust, perceived human resource management practices and employee turnover among Registered Nurses in Nigerian public hospitals using multiple regression analysis technique. One hundred and seventy five Registered Nurses participated in the study. Result indicated that perceived organisational politics was significantly and positively related to turnover intentions. The result also showed that both organizational trust and perceived human resource practices were significantly and negatively related to turnover intentions. Theoretical and practical implications of the results are discussed.

Abstract:
This paper investigates political behavior in organization context. In the first section, it studies inappropriate terminology in political behavior arena and recommends that political behaviors are neither positive nor negative in nature. The study also demonstrates that ends and means for influencing others are two criteria for determining faces of political behavior. In the second section, related and important research are reviewed and categorized in terms of content. Finally, we present the dominant paradigm of political behavior as a philosophical infrastructure. The study also presents some guidelines for further research the limitations are discussed in conclusion part.
