Blockchain technology is increasingly recognized as a transformative tool for improving agri-food supply chain (ASC) performance, particularly in enhancing transparency and traceability. Nonetheless, it has still not been widely adopted in developing nations like Pakistan. This study investigates the impact of blockchain adoption on ASC performance, incorporating transparency as a mediating variable and the Internet of Things (IoT) as a moderating factor within the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) framework. Data were collected from 333 professionals in Pakistan's agri-food sector and analyzed using smart PLS, with mediation and moderation effects. The findings reveal that blockchain adoption significantly improves supply chain performance. Transparency partially mediates this relationship, while IoT strengthens the effect by enabling real-time data sharing and monitoring. The study offers new insights into literature by extending UTAUT through the integration of blockchain and IoT, and by empirically validating their combined impact in a developing economy context. In practice, the results provide practical information to policy makers and industry players with a view to improving efficiency, accountability, and sustainability in the agri-food supply chains.

This study aimed to analyze the effect of employee satisfaction on employee performance, and the moderating role of organizational commitment in Jordanian Islamic banks. This study was conducted using a self-administered questionnaire distributed among employees from four different Islamic banks in Jordan. A total of 303 responses were collected and analyzed using SPSS and partial least square. A significant relationship was found between employee satisfaction and employee performance. There was also a significant effect of the moderating role of organizational commitment on the relationship between employee satisfaction and employee performance. One potential reason to support this relationship is that individuals who are satisfied with their performance tend to be happier and need a commitment from the organization to improve their work performance. The finding from correlation analysis shows that implementing the idea of organizational commitment illustrates the role that it plays in achieving employee satisfaction while doing their desired work. On the other hand, this suggests that increased organizational commitment in Jordanian Islamic banks increases employee performance significantly, which can enable each bank's management to achieve its targets, missions, and visions. The study is useful for the banking sector, financial institutions and other organizations in any country that seek improvements in employee performance.

The aim of this study was to examine how the implications of the Covid-19 pandemic moderate the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the effective application of Cyber Governance (CG) in Islamic banks. A total of 93 questionnaires from branch heads of Islamic banks were used in this study, and the data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) through descriptive-analytical methods. The findings indicated that AI has a significant influence on the effective application of CG in Islamic banks. The study also revealed that the Covid-19 Pandemic positively moderates the influence of AI on the effective application of CG in Islamic banks. The results of this study have implications for regulators and decision-makers in proposing new legislation to effectively apply CG in the Islamic banking sector, which can help protect public funds and limit cyber-attacks. This study is the first to investigate the moderating effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the influence of AI on the effective application of CG in Islamic banks.
