The study aimed to explore the anticancer efficacy of indazole pharmacophore by analyzing a series of 109 derivatives of indazole as Tyrosine Threonine Kinase (TTK) inhibitors through quantitative activity relationship analysis using 2D and 3D QSAR techniques. The best 2D-QSAR model was generated by the MLR method, showing a high correlation coefficient (r²) of 0.9512, and good internal (q²), and external (pred_r²) cross-validation regression coefficients of 0.8998, and 0.8661, respectively. The residual values were modest, indicating good agreement between the observed and predicted pIC50 values, which suggested that the chosen model was predictably accurate. The 3D QSAR model, built using the SWF kNN approach, displayed a high internal cross-validation regression coefficient (q²) of 0.9132. Essential structural features/considerations in developing indazole as prospective anticancer medicines have been suggested. The study provides a reliable and predictive model for the prediction of anticancer activity of indazole derivatives. The identified essential structural features/considerations may be useful for the development of prospective anticancer medicines.

In this research, the photocatalytic effect was studied for sol-gel synthesized Mn/Mg co-doped metal oxide (TiO2) nanoparticles (NPs), which are encapsulated with anionic Gemini surfactant. The physicochemical properties of Mn/Mg co-doped TiO2 were investigated using a variety of characterization techniques, FT-IR, UV Vis-DRS, XRD, SEM, EDX, TEM, BET and PL. Characterization results reveal that Mn/Mg dopants stabilize TiO2 in the form of anatase phase and reduce the bandgap energy. Presence of strong chemical bonding and functional groups at the interface of dopant and TiO2 NPs was confirmed with FT-IR. The photocatalytic activity of these catalysts was assessed by the degradation of Orange II (AO7) using visible light irradiation. Of the variable nanomaterials MMT5-GS2 showed remarkable results. The photoluminescence studies revealed that OH radicals are the reactive species and responsible for oxidative photocatalytic degradation of Orange II.

India had broken all the records and counts of confirmed COVID-19 cases per day and daily death toll reached over thousands. India is way far from other developed nations in the number of vaccine doses per 100 population. Although vaccination is an effective measure to be followed to overcome this grave situation, still certain misconceptions and rumors throughout the country have pulled a decent part of the population from being vaccinated. Another big challenge is production and supply of vaccines to meet the demand. COVID-19 pandemic will not end until the entire population gets vaccinated that would protect them from this deadly disease. Therefore, this paper aims at clearly identifying the factors and subsequently prioritizing them as barriers in effective immunization against COVID-19 in India following multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) technique. In this study, a fuzzy decision-making trail and evaluation laboratory (F-DEMATEL) approach is applied for understanding the contextual relationship among the barriers for effective immunization against COVID-19. The methodology is followed in a fuzzy environment to address the issue of uncertainty in the data gathered. The result suggests that the ‘Misinformation/ Misconceptions/ Lack of vaccine education in underserved communities’, ‘Lack of information regarding a vaccination center close to home’, ‘Difficulties in getting appointments’, ‘Supply chain issues in the distribution of vaccine’, and ‘Lack of access for marginalized communities’ are the important barriers in effective immunization against COVID-19. Recommendations have been made to overcome this situation and help to immunize the population and drag COVID-19 down to earth.

The significance of producing Carbon nanomaterials (CNMs) reinforced polymer composites are increasing in manufacturing trades due to their exceptional performances. CNM modified composites are primarily employed in structural component needs due to expanded physicomechanical properties. This paper highlights a coherent approach of the VIšekriterijumsko KOmpromisno Rangiranje(VIKOR) and Teaching learning-based optimization algorithm (TLBO) to evaluatethe Milling efficiency. The machining was performed for the Milling process of0-D carbon nano onion (CNO) reinforced polymer (Epoxy) composite at four different levels of Box Behnken Design (BBD). The Milling performances such as Material Removal Rate (MRR) and Surface roughness (SR) were optimized to enhance product quality and productivity. The control of varying process constraints, viz. Weight % of CNO filler content(A), cutting speed (B), feed rate (C) and depth of cut (D), was used to optimize the machining response. The conflicting response is aggregated through the VIKOR method to develop the fitness function for an algorithm. The process constraints play a significant role in influencing the cost and productivity ofthe machined components. The objective function derived from VIKOR was supplied as input into the TLBO algorithm. The results demonstrated that the spindlespeed, feed rate, and weight % of CNO filler are the most contributing factors for machining indices. Also, the hybrid VIKOR-TLBO module shows a lower error percentage than the conventional VIKOR method. The microstructural investigation of the machined surface reveals the feasibility of the proposed hybrid module in a production environment.

The fatigue behavior study on laminated glass/epoxy composite plates at elevated temperature is attempted in the present research work. INSTRON 8862 servo-electric universal testing machine with hydraulic suspension is utilized to perform low cyclic tension-tension fatigue tests at 0.5Hz and 0.7Hz frequencies. Bluehill universal software compatible with INSTRON 8862 is employed to obtain the relationship of fatigue stress upon cycles to failure (S – N) for each specimen. The parametric investigation is done for the loading frequency, lamination sequence and number of layers to understand their effects on fatigue behavior of composite laminated plates under ambient and thermal environment. The elicited results lead to the conclusion that above parameters greatly influenced the fatigue behavior of composite laminated plates under thermal loading. The rising temperature has significant adverse effects on fatigue life. The present research is beneficial for the analysis and design of laminated composite plate or plate-like structures in the domain of fatigue analysis.

It is admissible that fuzzy numbers (FNs) are apt for representing imprecise or vague data in real-world problems. While using FNs in decision-making problems, selecting the best alternative among available alternatives is challenging, and therefore, ranking FNs is essential. We can find different studies in the literature, but to our knowledge, no one attempted to rank FNs using the concept of volume. This paper proposes a new method for ranking generalized fuzzy numbers (GFNs) using the volume of the solid obtained by revolving its membership function (MF) about the x-axis. We calculate the volumes of positive and negative sides along with the centroid of a generalized fuzzy number(GFN) to define the fuzzy number(FN) score. This score represents the defuzzified value of FN, is used to select the best alternative, and overcomes the limitations in some existing methods like ranking FNs having the same centroid, crisp numbers, symmetric fuzzy numbers, and FNs with the same core.

Steroid and painkiller abuse induced peptic ulcer disease, which causes abdominal pain, fullness, heartburn, and nausea. Medicinal plants have treated ulcers for centuries. We used Piper attenuatum ethanolic plant extracts for aspirin to induce ulcers in Wistar rats to test the leaf ethanolic extract's antiulcer properties. The control group is normal saline, the standard group is ranitidine (20 mg/kg), and the extract-treated groups are 100 mg/kg and 200 mg/kg ethanolic plant extracts. Ulcer Score, gastric juice volume, free and total acidity, ulcer index, ulcer protection, and pH were measured. The ulcer score was determined via rat stomach biopsies. Plant ethanolic extracts are gastroprotective. Only pH increased compared to the control group. Piper attenuatum ethanolic extract is the most gastroprotective at 200 mg/kg. Extracts were phytochemically and analytically assessed. Phytochemical screening demonstrates that plant extracts contain alkaloids, amides, glucose, proteins, glycosides, steroids, flavonoids, etc. This research suggests that phytoconstituents may have anti-ulcer potential, although structural elucidation of bioactive chemicals is needed. Molecular docking showed better binding affinity versus the 3D structure of pig gastric H+/K+ ATPase isoforms phytoconstituents Cepharadione A, Cepharadione B, Guineensine, Norcepharadione B, and Piperlonguminine. With these significant results, it may be a drug in the future.

Some new hydrazine complexes of trivalent lanthanide 3,3’-thiodipropanoates of empirical formulae [M(N₂H₅)(tdp)₂] and [Pr(N₂H₅)(tdp)₂·H₂O], where M = La, Ce, Sm and Nd, H₂tdp = 3,3’-thiodipropanoic acid, have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, mass, FTIR, Raman and electronic spectral, powder X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and simultaneous TG–DTA techniques. The presence of bidentate carboxylate anion and coordinated N2H5 in these complexes are confirmed by IR spectra. TGA/DTA results confirmed that all the rare earth metal complexes give the corresponding metal carbonate (heating up to 1000 °C) through a metal oxalate intermediate. SEM images of Pr2O3 residue obtained from its complex show nano-sized clusters, thus the complex may be used as a precursor for nano-Pr₂O₃ preparation. The synthesized complexes show good antimicrobial activity against six bacteria (Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus vulgaris, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, and Serratia species) and four fungi (Candida albicans, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus fumigatus, and Penicillium variance) as assessed by in vitro biological activity.

The present study evaluates the photochemical behavior of a nitroimidazole derivative drug metronidazole in presence of N,N dimethylaniline and ZnO nanoparticles. The photochemical behavior was examined in a photochemical reactor by irradiating with a light of 254 and 310 nm. After completion of reaction one photoproduct was obtained. The photoproduct was isolated by using column chromatography and the structure of the isolated photoproduct was established by different spectroscopic techniques. This study provides the probable mechanism of the photochemical transformation of metronidazole in presence of an electron donor and in presence of ZnO NPs. During the photochemical transformation the nitro group of metronidazole was reduced in the amine group by a series of electron transfer processes. The ZnO nanoparticles are very efficient catalysts, and they degrade almost 90% metronidazole in the 60 min of UV irradiation. The photocatalytic mechanism of the ZnO nanoparticles is also discussed.

Most of the d-metals are familiar with their distinctive properties and their applications have been extended in vast industry fields. Though they are doing outstanding work in industries and help to boost the economy of dependence. The excess uptake of d-metals explores significant health issues, and detrimental effects on the environment, and corrodes the biological species. Fluorescent probes based on Schiff base chemical compounds give more accuracy, and low-level detection for metal ions in water, chemicals, and in biological cells through commendable and quick fluorescence signals. So, it empowers the successful detection of d-metals in terms of dissimilar fluorescence responses by probes in light of metals. Based on the recent research in the field of Schiff base-based fluorescent probes and interpretation on effects for binding like ON-OFF PET, ICT, CHEF, and CHEQ this imperative review is framed.
